They are a big company that lost their sight of their individual customer. Without knowing my circumstances, they dropped off two new 96 gallon bins. I was using a small bin. I have no place to store those extra large bins. Also, WIN Said that there was no charge for the new bins-- but noted that my monthly charge will increase to $35. Bigger is not always better. One size does not fit all. When I contacted their customer care via email-- the response was " I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have cause you, however the trucks we use in your area require the larger container." (note: this is not a true statement many in my neighborhood use various size bins, even the kind I have been using). If I wanted to respond to their email-- I could not respond directly to their email response-- but was directed to send a fresh email. They even had a requirement for me to respond in 24 hours or they would consider the matter resolved. geez I sent a letter to their CEO Dan Mayo -- no response. I made several attempts for them to remove the 96 gallon bins. Hitting the same not caring corporate wall. A bunch of boilerplate responses. My advise: DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH WIN WASTE-- GO LOCAL. read more

Zero Customer Service! They don't allow cancellation of services over the phone or e mail. You have to mail in your request. They can't even put notes on your account not to renew the contract. No customer service at all. read more

It's no surprise every location has a 1 star rating. I've only been a customer for a couple of months and it's already been a terrible experience. The customer service is pathetic and just tell you what you want to hear, but do not actually follow up on their word. I have been charged the admin fee two months in a row for not enrolling in auto pay but I am enrolled! Looking to switch companies. Highly do not recommend. read more

Review on Yelp for WIN Waste Before doing business with these people, READ THE CONTRACT! You are signing up for a 5-year term, which is five times the industry standard of 1 year, they leave themselves the right to increase prices and charge fees whenever they want (in other words, they don't honor the initial agreed upon price), and if you want to cancel your contract early, they extort 6-month's worth of fees without providing a service. Legally, this is called unlawful enrichment, and at worst, it's extortion and racketeering. Their contract is actually unlawful, because in order for any contract to be valid, it must be fair to both parties. WIN Waste's contract is only fair to them and traps the customer into a very unfair, coercive, and anti-competitive contract. The only "out" allowed to the customer is to protest any price increase when it shows up on your bill, BUT you must do it BEFORE you pay that month's bill, because once you pay, by their definition, it means you agree to the new rate. So if you're on auto pay, then they have essentially negated this option, and if you're not on auto pay, they charge you a fee. If you do protest the new increase/fee, then their contract says they will revert back to the old rate/fee, but they don't say for how long. Which means they will keep upping the charges every month, forcing you to protest every month. They will try to wear you down. They will automatically renew you for another 5-year term at the end of your original contract if you're not paying attention and cancel it, in writing, before the initial 5-year term is up. These are not the actions of a legitimate, honest company. These are the actions of crooks. I have no doubt that if challenged in court, the judge will throw out this contract for its lack of "consideration" (fairness), and I would urge anyone threatened by WIN Waste's tactics to do just that. read more

They picked up my dumpster before my contract ended with a one day warning because we did not want to renew with them for the following year. They try to make it very hard to stop their automatic contract renewal where they hike up prices. Charge extra fees for anything and everything they can possibly charge. Staff only wants to help to keep you tied to a contract once you are they offer no help. read more

If I could give a zero star!!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS COMPANY!! They have you locked in for 5 YEARS and their PRICES JUST INCREASE INCREASE INCREASE! NO END IN SIGHT!!! Tried to get out of the contract... $1200.00 to get out of it! It started a couple of years ago our monthly removal was $135.00 it has now increased for every possible reason under the sun to $224.00!!! That is almost a 100% increase in 2/12 years!! I had another company come in and willing to do our removal for $135.00 but I would have to pay Win Waste $1200.00 or our credit would be ruined!!! STAY AWAY!!! If they renegotiate you are signed again for 5 years....same thing!!! read more

Do your research before you work with this company, I am regretting not doing my own. I specifically chose Win Waste because I previously worked near their corporate office and unfortunately, I assumed they were a great company with great rates. Come to find out, that is not the case - after my rates increased significantly earlier this year I called and thankfully someone assisted me by adjusting the rate. Recently I inquired about cancelling my contract early due to some personal reasons and to terminate my contract I have to pay $1,000. This type of tactic should not be allowed, if a customer wants to leave the company due to personal reasons, they should not be financially threatened into continuing the contract. Sure, charge a pick-up fee for ending the contract early but to charge the sum of SIX MONTHS invoices AND a pick-up fee is absolutely crazy and truly shows and proves that customer satisfaction & retention does not fall anywhere on their priority list. This is a shame, and I am truly disappointed. read more
