The next day upon our arrival we had a last minute change of plans, because the room had a very limited direct ocean view and weather was going to be raining the whole time, so a balcony or direct ocean front view was a must. Kim was kind enough that she showed us 3 other alternatives available and offered us a full refund if we didn't like any. So we went somewhere else but the little tour we took and all the little amenities, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, the pool, the bed in the room, jacuzzi bathtub, breakfast place, everything looked prestige!!!

The house was filthy. Dirty dishes pots and cups in the cupboard ready for us to use. Blood stains on the mattress with NO mattress pads. One private bedroom downstairs with broken bathtub. Upstairs is an open and breezy studio style living area with no privacy between what they call bedrooms. No curtains or blinds for privacy to the back yars that is open to all the guests on the property. The 4th bedoom is outside of the main house. It is located above a detatched garage. Cannot lock the front door from the outside, and once in, you cannot get out unless someone comes to open the door for you. Total fire hazard!!! The owner controls the aircon and the vents were full off dust and insulation. I wish I could post photos here. Do not rent this place.

It is very well maintained and has all that you need. There are nice common areas inside and out. It was super clean and had a selection of light refreshments and snacks. I would stay again if not for one thing. The door lock between our room and the next needs attention. The bolt did not go into the receiver leaving the door unsecured. Also, you will have to ask for a "skeleton" key if you wish to lock your room while you are out. There are only interior sliding bolt locks on the rooms. Lastly, if you are a really light sleeper, I would consult with the owner to find out which room is the quietest. We could hear our neighbor and I'm sure that they could hear us fairly easily. It did not bother me, but it could some. I would definitely stay again if in the area as long as the lock issue had been addressed. I'm not so trusting.

We loved the fresh carrot and coconut muffins (those were not gluten free). We stayed in room 33, with the ocean view. There was an elevator! The ocean is a2 minute walk from the hotel. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff…read more We booked a room with two queen beds that came with a small kitchenette including a microwave and small fridge. The room was spacious but the floor was dirty with crumbs all over the place. Self parking is $20 for overnight. Some nice perks include free beer and wine every day at 5:30 pm and complimentary breakfast in the morning. We didn't get a chance to try their breakfast since we had to get up early to drive to Kennedy space center (which is about an hour away from the hotel) but we were able to get some beer and wine which was refreshing. The hotel has a nice swimming pool that overlooks the beach. Our son loved the pool so much that he didn't want to get out when it was time for dinner. We did try their restaurant, Ebb & Flow, for dinner to celebrate an early birthday dinner for my husband. The food was delicious but the service was really slow. Although it wasn't the staff's fault because they appeared to be very short staffed that night but it took awhile for someone to clean the table from a previous customer. Then we waited for almost 20 min just to get menus. I was able to get the manager to give us menus and she immediately placed our 4 year old's meal early so that we can look at the rest of the menu. The food came out even slower to where we had to ask the manager to put the food in to-go containers since our son was falling asleep at the table since it was almost 9 pm. The manager was very nice and apologetic. She even comped our drinks and appetizers. That was very nice of her. The hotel staff here are very friendly and hospitable. We were able to switch our check out time last minute since we're elite members from 11 am to 2 pm. We were running behind from coming back from Kennedy Space Center on the day of check out so it was nice of the staff at the front desk to be flexible for us. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and it was a nice getaway to celebrate my husband's birthday. We will be back!
