The TV and sound system could definitely use an update, and I don't believe it was a smart TV. The front desk staff were not very friendly. They kept calling us on the day of arrival and again on the day we were leaving, which felt a bit excessive. I did appreciate the complimentary toothbrush and razor, though that was a nice touch. The kitchen amenities and sink area were also very nice and convenient. The biggest drawback was the smoke alarm beeping in the middle of the night. It really disrupted our sleep. I understand maintenance may have needed to come in, but I wasn't comfortable with someone entering while we were out or disturbing our privacy while we were inside I'm a bit particular about that when my belongings are in the room. Overall, the views were the highlight, but due to the outdated features, staff experience, and the alarm issue, our stay fell short of expectations.

It was obvious from the layer of dust on nearly everything that the house had been cleaned then remained empty for an extended period of time. The water pressure was nearly non-existent due to hard water residue and build up in the water lines. On more than one occasion pebbles came out with the water. The water also smelled like rotten eggs. There were multiple RAT TRAPS left in various rooms in the house which is extremely dangerous considering that we had 3 small children with us (age - 15 months, 13 months & 3 years). Had they stuck their hand in the trap they would have been SERIOUSLY INJURED. Why would Sage Rentals leave RAT TRAPS lying around the house? We also found RAT DROPPINGS in 2 bath tubs. Again, proof on top of proof that the house hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The dock was in HORRIBLE condition and should either be repaired or removed. It was in such poor condition that boards would pop up when walked over and would shake to the point that we had to block it off to prevent our children (who cant swim) from walking on it. Even if they wanted to walk on it, they couldn't because it was blanketed in bird droppings (as was the lawn). There was also a sunken boat lift at the end of the dock that was nothing more than a swimming hazzard (I guess it was a good thing that we couldn't jump off the dock). None of the cookware, dishes, cups, silverware, etc were washed. We had to do two loads of dishes before we could prepare a meal. One of the kitchen stools was broken to the point that it couldn't be used. There was a plastic bowl under the sink to catch dripping water that smelled horrific. We were also unable to get hot water in the kitchen and the microwave didn't work. To be honest, there were far to many issues to continue to list. You guys obviously don't care!!!" Thomas Crumpton

We were also woken up at 6am on Saturday morning by a fire alarm going off. The security code situation is a little confusing. If you stay here, the COMMON AREA code is apparently the one you use for the garage too, but it's not clearly stated in the app. I will give props to Sage for responding quickly when I called them around 9pm to get that information. Lastly, the posters they have around the condo were dated as they tell you to call someone upon checkout to let them know you're leaving, but when I called that person told me they hadn't worked for Sage Rentals in over a year and were none too pleased that I was calling them at 8am on a Sunday morning. Otherwise - it was well furnished, comfortable, and close enough to the local attractions to be convenient without being downtown.

The service throughout the resort was also excellent. My husband attends a physical therapy conference here every year, and the staff always does a great job taking care of everyone and making the event run smoothly. The only downside would be that the rooms are starting to show their age. As a business owner myself, I completely understand that renovating and updating an entire property is a big financial decision. That said, it does feel like the rooms are reaching the point where a refresh would really elevate the experience. I imagine that will happen eventually. One of the highlights of the stay was the restaurant, which is just steps away from the rooms. We ate there multiple times and every single thing we ordered was really good. The quality of the food was consistently excellent and the servers were kind and attentive. They also had live music on Friday night, and the woman performing when we were there was incredibly talented and made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely come back again. The location, views, service, and restaurant make it a really special place to visit in Lake Chelan.

The hotel has its own beach with several lounge chairs - a great way to relax and enjoy the beauty of Chelan! There are two hot tubs and one pretty good sized pool with towels available. All of this made up for some of the negatives... Overall the resort is a bit dated- the architecture gave us a very 70s motel feel with the layout and roof style. The doors to all of the rooms face the parking lot with stairs going up to the various floors. Our door didn't close or lock properly unless we pulled it shut. The interior of the rooms could definitely use a refresh-bathroom tiles, bath and shower, and room carpet need some love (as many others have noted). When we checked in we saw that two of the towels in the bathroom had stains on them which was pretty icky. Nothing you want to see when you're at a hotel, that's for sure. We had a room with a balcony that looked out at the lake and had us enjoying beautiful sunsets. On our second night the hotel got a bit busy and it's definitely on the louder side. The sun goes down pretty late and people were having fun on the beach until it got dark. Conversations from the hot tub and pool areas definitely carry as well. Overall it's a great location with nice amenities that make for a nice summer getaway but my fingers will be crossed that they do some renovations soon to make it worth the high summer prices. Overall, the location can't be beat and for some that may outweigh some of the negatives.

My husband and I rented an apartment from them in Boise, Idaho for 2 months. There were some different things to work out due to the fact that it was a long term rental, but the property manager kept asking for money outside of the Airbnb app, which I know is not allowed on Airbnb. There was also a definite communication issue between whoever was talking to us on Airbnb and the property manager as they were giving us different information. We got theough it, but I did contact Airbnb to work out the kinks. The apartment was great, we left it in pristine condition, my husband even fixing a few things while we there for them. The property manager then left us a bad review on Airbnb stating that we were difficult to work with and asked too many questions during the check in process. Luxe then proceeded to text me 5 different times telling me how glad they were that I was a guest, and hoping we would come and stay with them again. Again, not consistent communication. Today I was rejected for an Airbnb based on that ONE crappy review that Luxe left me. I am livid. So here is the review you so desperately wanted. Shifty property manager, horrible communication between manager and owners, and not worth the stay to ruin my Airbnb ranking. Zero stars.

Couldn't be bothered to document anything in email which allowed realtor a lot of wiggle-room fantasy about what information she did & didn't share. Took creative notes that did not reflect any conversations that we had with realtor about needs/requirements for our property. Couldn't be bothered to READ our actual contract with CB and execute accordingly - the realtor finally admitted that she hadn't bothered to read the contract & then resigned when it was pointed out that she was not executing per contract (she declared that she didn't like the terms & admitted to not having read the terms AFTER AN ENTIRE YEAR of being under contract). NOTE: it is their boiler plate contract for property management. There were bizarre strenuous arguments for keeping problematic tenants in place. In short: we were more than happy to replace Coldwell Banker.
