What caught my eye was how they checked, re-checked, and then re-checked again everything they were doing. As a retired aircraft mechanic I certainly can appreciate that. They also have a wonderful app that makes the check in process quick, and easy at the donation centers. It also gives you a ton of information,and is a quick resource for rescheduling, or making an appointment. I was so impressed with the American Red Cross that I now donate blood regularly,have completed my training, and became a American Red Cross volunteer.

I recently dropped off five bags of things. The lady at the donation door was already there when I arrived. The donation process was very quick and easy. This isn't a huge Goodwill, but small to average. Their furniture area is pretty lackluster. I did find some interesting shoes, one of them was entirely handmade. Maybe my donations will help improve their inventory. You never know what might be hidden at Goodwill.

I saw racks and racks of men's and women's clothing, shoes, accessories, footwear, household goods, dishes, and kitchen equipment in the front of the store. In the back of the store were CD's, record albums, thousands of books, collectibles and pretty much everything. I even saw three Pez dispensers with likenesses of former presidents. Much of the inventory is what I'd call vintage, which is a code word for "old". Those items may not be for everyone, but if you're into old dishes, bric a brac, dolls, China, wall hangings, glassware, jewelry, furniture, and lamps, well Favarh might just be what you're looking for. Today was 50% off day, and I scooped up two ties marked at $2 each for a grand total of $2.13. You might find a thrift store out there with better quality merchandise, but I'm not sure you'll find one with as much stuff as I saw here. And since their proceeds go to charity, it's well worth your time to check out their stock and see what bargains appeal to you.

In the back section, they had household items, books, and miscellaneous items. You can also sign up for their free rewards card; you gain points from every purchase and that adds up for future discounts. Overall, a great thrift store and I look forward to shopping there.
