Their clothing racks are organized by color and size, and everything is in excellent condition. I however am mostly drawn to their home items, like their plates and dishes. I once picked up eight dessert plates for 15 cents each. None of them had a single scratch or nick. They have a whole bookshelf of hard cover books for just $2.00 each. There's plenty of jewelry, I saw a really cool pair of large pearl earrings, but they were clip ons. They also have some beautiful artwork, that's already framed. This is a lovely thrift store, that I wouldn't skip stopping by!

If there's such a thing as a hgh end thrift store, this is it. It's super organized and gorgeous inside, with jewelry, clothing, household and kitchen accesories and a lot more. The pricing is ridiculously low. I saw $1 books, $5 shirts (one of which I bought), $5 jeans and dress slacks, lots of dresses under $10, and a box of 25 cent greeting cards. They are affiliated with The Village for Families and Children in Glastonbury, Suffield, West Hartford and Simsbury, so all of the store's proceeds go to a great cause. We know we'll be back!

Ralph Lauren shirts for $32.50, Nikes and Pumas for $50+, etc. While strolling around I checked out a few prices and told my wife I just saw a dress stickered for $500, she laughed and said "big deal, I just saw one for a thousand." So you get the idea, right? The store was very neat, well organized, and very full of inventory. High end inventory. A lot of these posts complain about rude staff encounters, well we encountered no rudeness, we also encountered no interaction at all, not even a greeting when we walked in or an offer for assistance. Maybe you'll walk out with a few high-end treasures here.

The store has so many cool and interesting little things, like beaded keychains, hair accessories, candles, jewelry, greeting cards and decor. Some of it is vintage and some is locally hand made. The back of the store is the thrift clothing section. Everything looks to be in excellent shape. There's also records, shoes and purses. I saw a Dior coat, and some items by Burberry and by Alexander McQueen. They are selective about their selection of items they accept. There isn't any of that awful stuffy smell. It feels and looks like everything is brand new. It's easy to look and touch things without the fear of everything falling. This store isn't stuffed at all. Here's my list: 45 RPM vinyl singles 33 RPM vinyl albums Eight track tapes Cassette Tapes Compact Disks Digital Downloads As the state of musical technology changed, it left music lovers with a dilemma -what to do with our old purchases if we don't  listen to them anymore in their original format? Years ago, I pitched my cassette and Eight Track tapes (Trouble Man by Marvin Gaye and Superfly by Curtis Mayfield were personal favorites). But I have hundreds of LPs and CDs and really didn't know what to do with them. Until now. Today I sold four of my albums to the Trading Post as a test, and I was very happy with the results. I will be going back with more of my LPs and CDs. I exchanged e-mails with Elise, and then met her at the store and she couldn't have been more personable, helpful, professional, and just plain nice. Trading Post is most interested in 1960's-2000's rock,  reggae, and metal genres. They inspect your records for quality, their inventory and pricing data and give you an offer in either cash or store credit. She researched my four albums while I wandered around the store.  It's crammed with records, CDs, video games, tie dye everything, posters, shirts, blankets and smoking accessories. Elise made me a very fair offer, and that was enough for me to know I'll be back with my CDs and vinyl after the Holidays.
