Went to the show over the weekend. Was treated absolutely terrible by some lady who ended up being the owner according to a so-called manager. The grand design rep was way out of line and was anything but professional. My family and I were just walking through all the campers just like everyone else, but because I had a competitors shirt on they decided to be absolutely unprofessional. never assume someones intentions, and you never confront someone in a manner that makes you look like a complete ass In front of your own customers. Thanks for validating why you are an inferior competitor. Pretty pathetic especially coming from the owner and a product rep that survives off of customer service and sales. Well "bro". Marty and Travis provided excellent customer service on a recently purchased used trailer. There was a problem that was discovered after the walk thru and after we had driven the trailer home. Problem was solved and everything is working perfectly. RV was very clean when delivered and parts that were worn out were refurbished or replaced. read more

These guys are terrible. I took delivery of a new camper trailer and the heater went out the first night out. When I took it in for warranty service it took 2 months to get it repaired and they broke the sewer valve in the process of dumping the sewer that I had forgotten to dump because they didn't give me a new hose to use with the new camper. When I took the camper back to have the $20 valve replaced under warranty they tried 2 times to just spray lubricant on it and when that didn't work they charged me $135.00 because their pansy-a...ed technicians had to handle something sewer related. What a rip-off. When I took delivery of my camper there was a hail storm coming so I didn't get the walk-through to find out how all of the guages and switches worked because they all wanted to get their vehicles under the cover where my unit was parked. The salesman and the sales manager refused to talk to me or answer my texts after they got my money for the unit. It took me a year and an e-mail to the top managers and Forest River to get my walk-through. I don't believe that there was ever a pre-delivery inspection done on the unit because the heater went out the first night and the CO2 sensor went off every time we used anything propane. I complained that the 2 batteries and solar panels don't even last 2 nights and they charged me $75 and said that nothing was wrong. I still have the same issue. The battery post was stripped and bent on one of my batteries to the point that they had put a washer on it to get it to tighten down and when I brought it to their attention they accused me of bending it when I unhooked the batteries. Very lame. When I checked my battery fluid level it was low on both batteries, hopefully filling them will help the charging system issue. I am going to contact Forest River again and suggest that they look into Windish's practices because they aren't doing anything positive for their reputation. I would stay as far away from this dealer as possible. read more

Man we had such a great experience with Manny and Gary, I couldn't be happier! The process was simple and they treated us like family! My dad has purchased 3 5th wheels from Manny at Windish and he will return for the next. Kenmaura in finance was amazing as well. She was honest and treated me like i was her brother. We bought a used 2018 Grand Design 2800BH and there was a couple flaws with it that they made sure were perfect before delivery. Go See Manny or Gary if you go to Windish!! I purchased a little Tag teardrop trailer from salesman Joey and he went out of his way to really make sure I know I can reach out to him with any follow up questions as I'm making purchases for the trailer (I'm new to RVs and even trailer hook ups). I purchased an RV that had a warranty sold by this company. WIndish told the previous owner that the warranty is transferrable, after paying the transfer fees I call them and they say they are not accepting any warranty work that for RV's not purchased directly from them. DO NOT purchase there warranty. There's plenty of other places in town that will give you much better service. read more

If you want your RV fixed properly I would not recommend talking your RV to Windish in Longmont. I dropped my 6 month old RV off for repairs to the stove, window, door and camera along with a recall needing to be fixed on 11/10/22. Amanda stated at drop off that she would call in two weeks to update of progress, never received a phone call. Two months pass. I Call on 1/23/23 and was told most the work was done, waiting on an LP hose to fix the stove and would call me back with an update. I called again on 1/31/23 upset as still no one will call or say what's going on. When I do call I'm told different things about what is fixed and what still needs done. I stated at this time I wanted to pick up my RV on 2/6/23 as I have lost trust. On 2/3/23 I get a call from Amanda saying they would buy the LP hose locally and the RV would be 100% done when I pick it up on 2/6/23. I arrive to pick the RV up and when they bring it up the first thing I noticed was wires hanging from the wheel well. I decided to check all work. Upon entering the RV it was clear the work was not done as the entire stove along with glass top was sitting on the sink counter. I asked for a manger and whomever he was as he refused to give me his name. Said I could wait thirty minutes for someone to finish this. Had I not checked this work it would have been a terrible disaster. The glass would have fallen and shattered along with more than likely damaging the floor. I took photos and the manager had the audacity to ask if I would be posting them. Damn right I am to protect others. Please check any work they complete for you as you may leave a victim. read more

We bought our fifth wheel in January a 2019 Reflection from the Lakewood store location we live in Longmont and they said we can take it to the Longmont location for any reason if something goes wrong for work, repair, maintenance ect. Well our first camping trip with the brand new camper May 18th the hot water heater isn't working. We get home call to get it in to figure out what is wrong they say they can't get it in until June 4 and than it would be another week after that to figure out what was wrong and than at least another 2 weeks to repair if not more. We have a 2 week camping trip already planned for the middle of June we tell them that that's not going to work and they need to get it done sooner. We call the sales person we bought it from he never even calls us back. Ridiculous customer service. Very upset with the way they handle our business. read more

We purchased a 16 Grand Design Solitude From Drew in June of 2015.. We love or Fifth wheel and use it far more than most.. It has held up very well but fathers day weekend this year our refrigerator quit working suddenly.. I easily reached Drew by phone and he had me bring it over that day.. The service tech was able to fix it at no charge, while I waited and without an appointment. While I was there Whitney in Parts answered my questions with a smile and even got another small propane regulator for me at no charge.. Oh and even 2 years after I originally met her at our new RV walk through, she remembered my name! Our camper is well out of warranty but they continue to help!! I have referred 4 friends to by campers from Drew and he is consistent in his dealings with them all!! We hit the majority of the RV places between Fort Collins to Denver on the I 25 and Apples was the only salesperson who seemed to be completely honest with us in our shopping experience. He was the only one who I did not caught in an outright lie, seem to really be willing to give us the time of day and actually listened to our needs. Still a sales guy, still trying to make a sale, but was respectful in how he approached it. Windish didn't have the right model for us at this time, but we will defiantly be back when we are on this side of Colorado again read more

I purchased my RV from Windish and the purchase itself was ok. I also purchased all the warranties that cost close to 5000.00. I do not recommend this as when you need to use the warranty it will take you forever to get anything done at the service center. My camper has been in the shop for over 3 weeks and still nothing done! This is infuriating and I'm just being put off because it's a warranty item and they aren't making money off me. Since the manager left that had been there for years and was awesome this place for service gets an F. I can't wait to not have to deal with them! read more

Do not purchase from Windish RV. We purchased a brand new fifth wheel in December. They cannot and will not provide warranty work for us until November of this year. Due to some problems I got around to removing my batteries today and sure enough the battery that was in the trailer was NOT the battery that was in it when I dropped it off for service. So not only did they wreck my trailer and not tell me about it, it looks like they swapped the battery also without telling me about it. We purchased a new Solitude from the Lakewood location earlier this year and needed some follow on warranty work performed. We had moved into the trailer full time in Longmont for a few weeks before hitting the road, so requested the service be performed at the Longmont location. Whitney managed to get us squeezed in to complete the work and check a couple of issues. When it turned out they couldn't get parts to address the new issues before we were leaving the state, she went above and beyond to find us a dealer to work with at our next destination. She stayed in constant contact to let us know what was happening and gave us excellent customer service. Sold me an over priced useless warranty that did nothing when I tried to use and I had to pay fees to cancel - manager did nothing when I addressed issues and all the salesman promised were denied by the salesman. Everything was perfect and staff were wonderful while buying our new 2021 Grand Design Imagine... until we signed the contract. Immediately after signing, our sales person become rude and told me, "you're on your own" when I asked if he'd show me how to hitch the trailer to the truck for the first time (Windish sold me the hitch as well). Within the first month there were numerous defects that are covered under the warranty. However, after they held my trailer for several months they told me they don't have time to fix it and to try back next winter. Now the belly of my trailer is bulging and leaking water. Despite multiple attempts to call different people no one will answer the service phone or return voice messages. I'm concerned that leaving all this water under the floor of the camper will cause mold and corrosion problems but Windish will not help despite the one-year warranty being in effect. read more

We purchased a Reflections 5th wheel from them in Oct of 2015. We have had a travel trailer in the past but not a 5th with the additional bells and whistles. They were extremely helpful in how to operate everything. We have had a few minor issues come up since then and EVERY time we call for assistance, they have been there for us. Whitney is amazing!! We even called them two different times while out on the road with an issue and she has talked us through (without rushing) how to fix or try to fix the problem. Windish USED to be a 5 star place. Took great care of their customers. Followed through with warranty service, excellent, high quality repairs, everything. However, our recent experience shows just how far downhill the company has gone. Prior to this, we had 2 other incidents that were somewhat taken care of. But in the most recent incident, we had repair work to fix a drawer at the end of the season. Because it required us to extend the slide, we didn't check until we took it on the road again a couple of weeks ago and that's when we learned the repair wasn't done. Called Windish and explained we now store our RV out of state because we are getting ready to move, and simply wanted a credit or refund to our card. Was told no. Go get the trailer from the other state, bring it all the way back down to Denver so it can sit on their lot for who knows how long, to do a $15.00 repair. No thanks; and no thanks to going to Windish any more. read more

Thoughtful, courteous and very professional. He even occasionally knew what he was talking about. Not only that, but he even had the patience to listen to my wife. The key to Tim's success?......HE TOOK HIS TIME WITH US! Not pushy, not stressful, and as previously mentioned, made it a very pleasurable experience. His subsequent follow-up was unsurpassed, and it was a seamless transaction. He delivered on everything he promised. I would recommend Tim to anybody in the market for an RV trailer. I know my option will not count - however you will get it- We had thee worse experience and I am sorry we purchased our camper from this location. Jacob, your 'salesmen' didn't even help us out- He is your stereotype typical salesman- didn't listen to us- didn't go out of his way for anything, no follow up - he just lied to us. Shame on us!!! Let's start: we were looking in the lot- one salesman said; 'you like what your seeing?'- we said 'sure' - then he walked away.- Ah, OK, as he left us standing there dumbfounded. Great customer service!! No, hey I'll get someone to help, I'll be right back- nothing. I myself thought he was a customer asking a general question. We kept looking, saw what we liked, - compared it to a few others on the lot- looking around for a salesman- Not one to be found, we had to walk into the office to get someone to help us out. Yeah, lucky us; Jacob came out, we showed him the one we were looking at, we pretty much said "OK" this is the one- he never explained- never took the time to 'really' show us the unit. He went into office got the pricing sheet told us how much it was- he finally decided to engaged at this point. We advised we did not have a hitch / receiver- nothing. We told him we needed EVERYTHING for the hitch. He said he would take care if it- we went in the office grabbed a 'SOLD" sign and put it on the camper, mind you it was very close to 5PM / closing time. Jacob got us set up for appointment to get the hitch set up for Monday July 9th. We felt rushed at this point- OH, that's right.. its closing time!! My wife and myself took off work early to have the hitch installed and sign for the camper / trailer. When we arrived Jacob look at our car / SUV and stated 'well, you need XXX'- I told him, YES- we told you 3 times this was needed, we need everything. He said, 'OH, my bad- must have not hear that'- total lack of compassion / sympathy- he has a 'oh, well' attitude. Back to typical salesman mentality- 'Oh, screw these ppl I got the sale! ' - we did do the walk through, noticed we did not have a fire extinguisher- 'Oh, we will get you one' [we are still waiting for it] He said, 'well, let me call U-Haul, in Boulder to see if they can put it on for you'. I stated, 'why did you not tell us this when we looked at the camper / trailer, we could have gotten this taken care of last week- '- Again, My feelings - it was closing time- and didn't want to be bothered on staying longer. So, we were to drive to U-Haul; in Boulder- I made Jacob call U-Haul, guess what, they did not have all the pieces / parts needed - Jacob said he would special order what was needed and said he would give us a call no later than 5PM- and if not he would for sure call us Tuesday to tell us when we can bring our SUV back in for hookup. - meanwhile, while Jacob was calling for parts we decided to sign paperwork and have trailer towed to our house- bad move on our part right there. Monday 5PM comes and goes, no call from Jacob. OK, so we call Tuesday, was put through Jacob's VM; 4 times. One would think the recipients would tell us that Jacob has off on Tuesdays. - or JACOB himself would tell us Monday that he had Tuesday off!! Another piece of bullshit, lack of communication- typical salesman shit talk just to keep us 'happy'... Well this did not - it upset us more. Again, sorry we signed for trailer.. we are locked in now.. and getting SHITTY service!! Now we have to drive up to Longmont AGAIN--3 wasted trips- !!! OK, now on to service: It started of being good / nice guys - So, we drive and dropped the car off a day before- was told it is a 4 hr. install- I was told I would get a call for update however, she has today off! I called 2 times, I'm being told car will not be ready until 1630!! - so, on my way home from work- I get a call from Brian, service manager- hey, we need the trailer up here--HELLLLLLLLLLLLLO, why was that not communicated when we dropped the car off?? So they have to send a driver down to the house to pick up the trailer- my wife catches a ride to the service office with the driver- they hook up the trailer to my car to make sure all works well--of course she didn't see that happen- the driver towed the trailer back down to the house as my wife has never towed anything before and she was not comfortable driving the trailer back to the house - mind you this is trip #4 to Longmont / back to the house for this; I get home from work, the swing bar was NOT installed!!!! We have a camping trip planned for Friday / today- well, we have to bring the trailer back up for the job to be completed!--this is beyond frustrating!!!! This outfit is a complete joke!! This has been the most frustration process EVER!!! Hey, any compensation for our time / gas, frustration??? Yeah- I didn't think so. Traded for a camper . Camper wasn't inspected until last minute , many items were not functioning upon bringing it home to use . Water heater, power inverter, oven , non functioning . Septic tanks were full of waste . Roof vents were damaged by hail . Skylights I had to replace myself . And paperwork nightmares were so unprofessional it was insane . A little bit of hope! I don't have any actual experience with actually obtaining service at this shop - although based on my personal experience with RV service shops the reviews don't surprise me. However I do have experience with their call service - so I figured I would at least let folks know. I was passing through the area and needed mechanical service quickly. I had called half a dozen places and we all know how RV shops are always booked weeks and months out. I was hopeful someone could squeeze me in - the appointment was less than half an hour. No one could. This shop could not either, the best they could do was 3 weeks away. BUT: this was the first shop to help me with suggestions. The service rep lady on the phone was nice and friendly, and she suggested I try a different place (which would not come up in internet searches for RV service or repair - and so I never would have found them myself). The other place *could* help me and I would not have found them if not for the recommendation from this shop. Most shops do not help out like that, so I thank them for at least helping me in this way while I was traveling through. This may not directly apply to your experience here - but it was a positive experience. read more

Asked, and was told, I would have my vehicle back inside 4 days. On day 6, I had to call and ask for an update, was told I would be called back and never was. Called back day 8 and was told parts still needed to be ordered and was told I would receive a call later that day concerning the parts and when they would be in, never received that call. Called back day 9 and received a, "we really have no idea where your parts are" excuse, but was guaranteed I would receive a call later that day concerning when I could expect the parts and when I could plan to pick my vehicle up. And guess what... no call! Called on day 10, told parts were ordered day 1 and they should be in today.... What am I paying $139/hr for? Why do I have to chase your employees down to get an answer? Only for them to NOT call back when they said they would. Why even ask someone what day they need their equipment back and not even bother to let them know its going to be over a week late? KNOWING it was going to be late day 1!!! Will find another shop to complete work for me in the future. Not worth the Time, Effort, Excuses or Frustration that come with this place. read more

I bought a 2015 Voltage from Windish RV. I regret buying from them. They pressured me into a contract with Preserve and refused to give a full refund when Preserve failed to honor the contract. Everything they "fixed" that was broken on delivery had to be fixed again by another dealer. Your RV dealer needs to be a partnership as they will likely handle all your warranty work, and there will be a good deal of that. Go elsewhere. read more
