Our experience with Shelter Roofing and Solar has been a nightmare. We had a leak in our roof. They…read moresaid they needed to resurface two areas to fix the leak. They resurfaced one of those areas, which was not the area where the leak was and didn't resurface the other, which they were under contract to do. Once we discovered this, because the leak kept leaking and the repaired area was examined, we got a litany of excuses. They claimed they did the required work. They didn't, based on both the documents which outlined the area to be resurfaced and the fact the leak was still there. They wanted to be paid more money to do the full work contract even though they had already been paid in full. They delayed for over a month, saying they were busy. They refused to guarantee the additional work as previously promised and wanted more money. After over a month of back and forth they offered a partial refund which doesn't help because they'd repaired the wrong area and I have no interest in paying for them surfacing the wrong place and missing the correct one, especially when they were under contract to repair both areas. We can't get the water damage repaired till the leak is repaired. The repair was supposed to happen March 18th, when they did they resurfaced a partial area. It's June 7th now, and there's still a leak.
