Window World just put in 10 windows for me. OMG! They did an amazing job!!! Clean, courteous Installers (wore masks because of covid19) Above and beyond what I expected for the price!! . The windows are beautiful, they did tons of custom trim work.. I have owned 11 homes so I know what I'm talking about!! This company rocks!

Insulation ala Window World. This is after we asked them to do it twice. This is all 11 of our windows they did.

The sales person could not effectively explain the $350 "site setup and disposal" fee.

These are not the windows you are looking for. Pay a little extra and get windows from a company that actually cares about their customers.

So they had to bring in secondary people during the job. One of the men they brought in was extremely rude, and I had to ask him to leave my house. Additionally they were installing one of the windows in my kitchen. I overheard them say "oh my god did you see that ? And the guy he was working with said "no bro I didn't see anything" I called into the office to say like look, I'm not trying to confront your people while they're here wondering if you can just check in. I feel like something has gone wrong. She said she didn't. They absolutely everything was fine but it was not. The installer was trying to put trim around only one of my window (same place I heard the installers talking) and it's because they cut into my wall and we're trying to cover it up by putting trim there. They did repair that They also installed one set of 3 windows incorrectly and had to return to reinstall them , the person that came back said the way they were installed was absolutely incorrect. And that water would've gotten wet in there and deteriorated wood. I had to have them back to replace the quarter round pieces also around a bedroom window and it was done so terribly that they of course now had to have special people come back in to do it. I have l written them regarding a few lock issues, windows being hard to go up or down, drafts and they asked me for additional pictures besides my description which I sent and then never heard anything from them followed up additional time still have not heard anything from them. The long and the short is that I actually still need them back, but I'm assuming it's going to be extremely difficult to get them to do anything. I don't find them to be a customer centric business. They say they're a family owned business but I think that's for show because the person that was here that was family doesn't work there anymore. I'm just all in all disappointed that I did not go with one of the other companies with a bigger name that was only slightly more expensive because I thought I would go with a local family owned company because I figured well that makes more sense as they take pride in their work.... think again.

Infinity Roofing. Recommended to us by a friend, Infinity has become our go to for those projects…read morethat I just won't be doing myself. I'm an electrician by trade, there are many things I will do, roofs and doors aren't on that list. Our first project was quoted by a salesperson named Aaron and it was a rip and replace of our roof. He was a good guy and came in and gave us a solid deal with all the service and upgrades I was looking for. Financed this venture through Enerbank USA and paid it off interest free in the years' time allotted. Our latest venture happened through a simple phone call. We had just dealt with the seriously cold Polar Vortex and noticed some issues with our doors. Infinity happened to call us to check on our roof and during this conversation, I had requested anyone with experience with doors. Well guess what, they do doors! About a week later a salesperson named Mark came out and gave us, the Provia doors booklet and a bit of homework. He then came back and we proceeded to build some doors, three to be exact. Again, we will be going with the 12-month interest free financing. We are excited as can be to get these new doors installed and seal this house up. In the business of home remodeling, there are many fast wheelers and dealers out there. We personally have found Infinity to be more of a partner than just a contractor in our home ventures. You really get what you pay for these days and pay for what you get, so why not deal with a company that has your back? I'll throw some pics up once our doors are installed. It was a little pricier than we initially expected but I am expecting the quality of the goods to be second to none. Another plus is not only did we get a deal for the time of year we are purchasing but we also received a nice loyalty discount of an additional 5% since we are on our second project with Infinity. That's what's up as every penny counts!

Again this shows the quality of installation or the lack of isn't a standard this company advertises. The consumer needs to feel that a roof is installed correctly and will get at least 20 years. I made that very clear to the scheduler. The scheduler confirmed that that could be done. I subsequently received an email confirming the appointment. I replied, repeating my insistence that I simply wanted the repair made in a single visit without a separate visit from an estimator. Sure enough, an estimator arrived 20 minutes late without any equipment. He was downright rude when I complained, saying "no one does business that way." I told him that Guardian was put on notice at least twice that I was not interested in a two step process. I would not have bothered taking time off from work had they simply told me they required a two step process. At my request, the manager called me, and I explained the situation. She was pleasant on the phone and said that she would she she could find someone in the organization to address the issue. I forwarded the earlier email for her records. She promptly acknowledged receipt. That was all two weeks ago. I never heard from her again. She did not respond to three follow-up emails of increasing urgency. The repair still have not been made, and I am back to square one. I DID receive a robotext asking me to rate my experience. (eyeroll). Stay away from these people. They are arrogant and beyond worthless unless you have a major project, and even then you have to worry about how they respond to a problem. Dear Guardian: am sorry I am not worth your precious time. It will not happen again.

They did a sealant on our…read moreroof, but due to the age of the roof that plan did not hold up - they did explain to us that we really should have a new roof, which we agreed with and they subsequently gave us a credit off of the original quote. Workers were very diligent and hard-working. The project managers had to deal with extra problems that were uncovered when the old roof was taken off - many layers and uneven spots, for which we did pay extra. Our problem is with the follow up. While our manager/site boss - not exactly sure what his title is -was communicative during the process and did come back to follow up with some debris that was left in the gutter, etc. we told him that our large front bush got damaged. He assured us that they have a company that they work with, and that he would have them get in touch with us. That was three months ago, and I have sent him five texts, none of which were answered. While the roof itself seems fine, the lack of follow-up communication does not bode well for potential future problems.

Pro Woodcare saved our home…read more Due to the COVID pandemic followed by other unforeseen circumstances, the usual exterior care if our nearly 20 yr old log home lapsed. By 2025 it was obvious that just another coat of stain was of no use. The exterior stain needed to be stripped and redone and there were a number of areas which were the most exposed to sun, wind and storms that needed repair or replacement. After investigating several firms specializing in the care we needed, we selected Pro Woodcare of Wisconsin. A senior rep personally inspected the home and explained everything they would do and how the rehabilitation would stabilize and improve the logs. In 20 years stain development can now provide stains that would not just coat the logs but soak into the fibers and release moisture from rain and snow to prevent rot from developing again. Work started in mid-October and with mostly favorable weather finished in mid-November. The crews were specialists in the various jobs and were extremely hard working and efficient. It was sometimes noisy (sound cancelling headphones recommended) and the stain stripping was messy but the crews were very conscientious about cleaning up nightly and protecting windows, doors and landscaping. We had grown accustomed to the hard shell stain that darkened with every new coat and was prone to chipping and peeling. The new finish is stunning. The stripping and sanding brought out the natural grain of the logs and the new stain, now gold rather than brown, gives the logs a soft matte surface that is almost suede-like. With rotted logs replaced and new caulking everywhere we are back to snug and weather tight. We unreservedly recommend Pro Woodcare to anyone with a log home in need of care.

Other quotes I received were a bundled price making it more difficult to determine how much the roof was vs the gutters and skylight replacements as an example. Shaun is amazing, as is his foreman and crew. They kept me informed while doing what's right, while using the best materials. They worked around my schedule and didn't rush the job, taking an extra day due to some damage to the roof on my screened in porch, which I knew we'd run into due to the old skylights leaking. Shaun gave me multiple options regarding the repair which enabled me to determine how much I wanted to spend on the repairs without compromising the structural integrity of the finished job. I would highly recommend Murphy's Exterior Construction if you're looking for a contractor that is honest and goes the extra mile to do the right thing.

Our window started leaking after the other contractor finished the siding project. When we tried to contact the other contractor, he would not return our many calls, texts, or emails. We tried to contact a couple other companies (including the company that originally installed our windows) for help, but no one wanted to get involved or would help us because they did not want to be liable for the other contractor's work. Shaun Murphy (owner of Murphy's Exterior Construction) just happened to be working on a project at our neighbor's house during this same time period. We asked him to come over to look at the work that was completed on our house and he immediately started pointing out significant issues with the way the siding was installed. He also immediately reassured us that he would help us and would complete any necessary repairs. Shaun had to come up with a unique way to fix our windows to prevent future damage, since the other contractor had done such a horrible job and had ruined all the trim around our windows. Shaun repaired all the issues with our house shortly thereafter, which avoided significant damage that would have happened to our house had these repairs not been completed. He is very reliable and does amazing work. He even agreed to help us when we told him that we may need him to testify on our behalf against the other contractor in a lawsuit. I would highly recommend Murphy's Exterior Construction!!
