It was in perfect condition. Mr. Nolasco was a no-show on his first visit - he did not arrive on the scheduled day, nor did he call to cancel. We set another date, and he arrived one hour late. After about an hour of work to install the glass, he stated he was late for his next job and left in a hurry. We inspected the work and found the crack shown as pictured in this review. The crack is inside the shower and originates directly from where he drilled a hole to install the mounting bracket for the shower glass. Concerned, we called him and he immediately denied he had done so saying "that is not possible" and that he would need to see it himself. We texted him photos of the crack, called him a couple of days later, and he now admitted causing the crack but said it was no big deal. He promised to send someone to fix it within a week. We repeatedly called and texted him, but never again heard from him.

I saw some other review on Yelp (January 2019) stating the price of the job was changed while the painting was going on.  I feel I should add that this has never happened with us during any of the times we've used this company.  We were given a written contract with a set price at the beginning of the job, and that's the price we paid. We had an appointment to get to, so we reached out and he eventually messaged back that he was stuck at the paint store getting the paint. We checked in several times as it was getting later and later, and he finally came over at noon. When I asked him what paint he was using, he showed me an already opened can of paint - and admitted he was 2 hours late to our job because he was getting paint for another job! We had explained we were looking for someone who could paint the entirety of the house exterior, that we have multiple paint jobs in the pipeline, and wanted to use a neighborhood company. It did feel like he initially misrepresented why he was late but we accepted it as him being short-handed and told him we would be happy to use him again if the job was good and he just let us know next time. He did the job and just left - never let us know he was done so we could take a look and pay him in person. That night he texted asking us to send his money - he charged us $400. The actual paint work he did was 4/5* (he missed a few spots) but the communication overall was terrible. Doing a pro job on something so fast and easy would have netted Bizarro loyal customers who would give them months of work, but sadly we won't use this company again.

The True Timeline & Scope of Work: During our initial consultation, we were upfront with your former salesperson, Sean. Before signing anything, we showed him the ongoing electrical, irrigation, drainage, and dry-well work being done by another crew. We explicitly stated that the turf installation could not begin until that extensive project was fully completed--which we estimated would take many months, stretching into late 2025. Sean agreed to this, stating he just needed to put a temporary date (May 2025) on the contract to process it. We emphasized that this was not an actual start date. Sean understood and agreed. The Communication Breakdown: The owner claims the company tried to contact me. This is false. No one from this company ever called to schedule an installation. The only phone call occurred when I reached out in May to provide an update, as instructed by Sean. Later, our project faced delays because our sole contractor suffered an accident. Once construction finally finished, unforeseen circumstances forced the sale of the home due to the co-owner's decision. The Deposit Dispute: On January 14th, I called the owner, Ron, to explain the situation. Because we never scheduled an official installation date, this company never mobilized crews, ordered materials, or wasted resources. The only time spent was the initial "free" consultation. Given these unique circumstances, I asked Ron for a good-faith partial refund of $500 (half of my $1,000 deposit), allowing them to keep the rest for Sean's time. Ron promised to check with Sean and call me back within 5 days. He never did. When I called Sean directly on January 19th, he informed me he no longer worked for the company but promised to flag the issue with Ron. After another week of complete radio silence, I posted my review. Misleading Advertising: Prospective customers should also be aware of their marketing practices. I have screenshots of their Instagram ads claiming a "state program discount" for the first five sign-ups. This same ad template is used by multiple different companies across social media. The quoted price was identical to competitors who did not claim to offer any state discounts. Conclusion: If a company reserves a specific date for a client and loses other business, keeping a deposit makes sense. However, keeping a full deposit when no start date was ever set, no materials were ordered, and the sales representative agreed to an indefinite hold is simply operating in bad faith. Not only did he offer a better design, but his price for pavers was actually lower than the concrete estimates I received. They started the very next day after we signed the contract, and even though a few unexpected issues came up during the project, Joseph handled everything smoothly and professionally. About 95% of the work is done now, and he's even installing garden lighting himself for free after the cleanup.
