Sorry to bother them while they are looking on their phones but I'm trying to check out! It has become a sort of depressing place to go now so I don't plan to be back. I used to enjoy walking around and picking out plants. It almost feels like they are about to close or perhaps just don't care much anymore?

It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

The Home Depot

Local in store, great. Online orders beware. If it is shipped from a local store you can modify the…read moredelivery date. If it is not from the local store, then you can NOT change a delivery date. This information is not disclosed when you make an order. The website simply says call customer service to modify your order. The policies on if delivered items are left out in the winter weather and damaged, or stolen, are not on the website, despite customer service stating they are. Nor will customoer service send you a copy of their policies. The resolutions department will offer to call vendors, but if the vendor has already shipped the item you are out of luck. This experience was with the resolutions department. The call to customer service was less than 24 hours after making the order. The first call ended being disconnected, or they hung up on me. I do not know which. I canceled most of the order. That also can not be done online despite the website saying you can. I had to call them again. I do like the local store. Online orders delivered from there are also fine. But for anything else online I am unlikely to patronize Home Depot again. There are plenty of other local options.

They know the importance of somebody with PTS PTSD having dogs for their mental support animals so they decided to turn my broken downward fence into a brand new chain-link fence about 100 foot worth awesome company and they'll give you 10% off if you're a veteran.

The gardens are free and there is lots of parking available, including some ADA-accessible spots near the building. The staff is very knowledgeable about growing peonies and readily available to ask questions of. If you've never been, you still have some time to see this year's bloom season (June 15th is the last day they're open).
