Henry's grooming at Wilco Farm Store is my preferred service for Henry's grooming. He is ok going there with no problems or anxiety. The groomers are very kind and he seems most happy to be there. The expense is nominal and very low compared to other groomers. I recommend them. read more

I take my little dogs in for grooming. I have never had an issue with any of the groomers and the pups come out looking great!

This store has an excellent selection of whatever you need for farming or gardening. It is a bit pricey. It has some hardware, tools and paint, but I do not shop here for those items as the selection and pricing is not in line with competitors. Staff is always friendly, but in this particular store I do not think they are very knowledgeable. read more

Great farm, garden and clothing store. They have pet supplies toys and food. Plus, they sale plants and baby chicks. They even had baby turkeys one time! If you need work or cowboy boots they have a large selection. We purchased cattle fencing panels and used it to make a backyard Australian style fence for our property. read more

I have been a faithful shopper at the other neighborhood hardware store for many years, but have found myself going to Wilco more and more as access is much easier in my drive pattern. I needed to get some salts for my water softener, something that has always been purchased in the past from our local plumbing store. As it was Sunday and the plumber was closed and I didn't want to add to my Monday commute, I decided to see if Wilco had what I needed. Not only did they have what I needed, all I had to do was let the cashier know what I needed and then drive around to their warehouse pickup area and they loaded it into my car. Great place, always clean when you walk in, super friendly staff. I went in there the other day to grab a small duck bath for my birds, wasn't sure what to get. I wish I remember her name, but there is a staff member there who was very knowledgable on it what I needed and how I needed it set up. Please don't take your dogs here for grooming. We brought our Great Pyrenees, a pasture dog, with mats last year and they took care of him just fine but this year would had many problems. They canceled on us as we were driving there a week before because they scheduled incorrectly. Finally they followed through with their schedule and we brought him in. They asked if the they could shave the mats out and we told them yes only shave where the mats are as a last resort. We got a call an hour after drop off and they demanded we pick him up. When we picked him up he was shaking and traumatized. They had shaved his whole back side and left loose hair hanging off of it and didn't cut out any other mats. Once we got home we saw broken capillaries on his skin where they pulled the mats very hard. We are extremely unhappy with the choices they made, shaving a double coat dog which is dangerous. I spoke with the store manager and explained that they are not trained to from Great Pyrenees and we will no longer bring our animals there. The groomer was Tiffany and she conveniently hid in the bathroom when we picked our dog up. Please don't bring your animals here. They did not communicate with us and did not make choices in the best interest of our dog. read more

Great experience there today. Brandelyn was so helpful. I injured myself and it's difficult bending. She was able to get my new rescue dog fitted with a new harness. She was able to sit on the floor and tried 3-4 on her and adjusted them to fit correctly. Then she found me the right dental chews for a pit bull. Took my babe 20 minutes, not 20 seconds to eat it. Lol Will definitely shop here again. read more

Prices are great, diamond dog food is cheaper here than champion feed. Clothing is a little pricey. I come her for chicken and dog supplies. Have browsed through garden and tools very good prices. Pet flea and tick treatment is overpriced so I order from Amazon. Healthy chicks too. read more

Nice new store in Salem. We usually go to the one in Silverton since that is a bit closer to us, but we were on this end of town. Been here multiple times and have always had a pleasant experience. Never had any issues, they always fawn over my dog and give her treats. read more

I am so grateful for this Wilco! Though it is smaller then other stores I have been in, this Wilco seems to have everything I need. I love the clothing section and most recently bought some Carhart baby overalls for my new grandson. Boots, hats, pants and even perfume have been purchased there as well as all types of farm supplies. We are a reshuffle for fees and any supplies to help our little farm run smooth. My son even managed to sweet two me into a few new chicks. The store is very clean. The staff is so helpful and even gave me a coupon for buy one get one free bag of feed. The staff is also very knowledgeable and has helped me with several issues I have had. So grateful for this store! read more

I just called this Salem store to let the manager know how great her staff was, as I didn't see the store location on here when I first looked it up. Anyways, I went to this location for the first time today on my lunch break. I was on a time crunch and had a long list of things to grab for my baby pig, and some other animals on my farm. I ran into an employee named Angela at the store and asked if she could help me locate a few things on my quick trip. Gotta tell ya, she hustled, helped and even roped employee Paul in to assist on a few questions on a specific item he was more knowledgeable on. It is sincerely refreshing to see store employees happy to see me, happy to assist me and I felt like they were going above and beyond. ... now days, it usually isn't like that. They point and give you an isle number and make you feel like you are reeealllly getting in their way. Not Salem Wilco. Top notch employees. Thank you for your time. read more

Wilco Loyal family rewards day sale is BS. We went in specifically for Blue Wilderness, chicken Dog food in the 24 lb bag. The Tuesday family rewards promotion of 20 % off was the reason we went in. The brand and chicken dog food we went to buy was not on the shelf so we asked to see if they had more. We were told they were all out. The fact was that one person bought all 5 bags earlier. They offered no rain check, or even a solution like buy/pay for it now and pick it up later in the week when it comes in, or any other solution to satisfy the situation. We go to this store, usually I go at least once a week and sometimes more and based upon the way were were treated it will be a long time before I go back. Their was an easy solution and the employees we dealt with chose not to find a solution. In that late afternoon the store manager called us as a follow up on what had happened. She was polite and apologetic and agreed to get more of the dog food in that we wanted and her staff had dropped the ball of resolving the issue. With that follow up I have upgraded the rating from a 1 star to a 3 star in anticipation of the store manager following up and as she put it "this was a teachable moment for her staff". Interesting store but the cashier lines are ridiculously slow. Be prepared to wait 10 minutes with one person in front of you. The clerk often struggle through simple transactions and the line builds up even in off hours. Not worth the waste of time. read more

This review cannot be rated. Beware when having your dog groomed. We took our golden doodle in for a trim today and came out with a mess. The poor dog now looks like a cross from a poodle on one end, a schnauzer on the other end and skinned in the middle. When you call and ask if someone can cut a doodle and the response is yes, you should be able to trust in the fact they know what they are talking about. After picking him up, I was so shocked, and sad that my beautiful dog, who now looks like something from Rippley believe it or not no longer looks like a doodle. We spoke to the manager and was told we could bring him in and they would fix it. The problem is you can't put hair back and the only other thing to do is shave the remainder of him and let it all grow out. What is really bad is they charged $85, for this mess. No offer to refund our money, just "I'm sorry". Well, I'm sorry too, as we will not be back to your store again. We are going back to a professional groomer who knows how to cut a golden doodle. read more

The rating reflects the service, not the inventory. The lady on the clothing section was extremely rude. Perhaps a bad day, maybe not a people-person. In any case she clearly didn't want me to make a purchase today. Very short, curt, and not helpful. I am driving to Coastal Farm now. I think they want my business. Cheer up, grumpy girl.
