Yesterday we had a fabulous job completed by Chrissy and Jamie from Windowsmith. I was home with my three little guys (all under 5) and was a little worried it might be difficult for them to get the windows cleaned inside. This is mostly because of all the toys my boys play with and the small spaces near the windows. However, this was definitely not an issue for them to get the job done. Not only were these two women professional and focused on getting the job done with out a hassle for me, but it was also Jamie's very first house! I could only tell when she asked Chrissy for advice on a window screen that was pretty stuck in the frame. They also helped me out with a few screens that my boys had put holes in (apparently Legos like the outdoors too) and took them for repair. I will be getting them back today. Anthony, Josh, and Juan! I want to thank you for the excellent job that you did cleaning my windows and screens at 1922 Barbaresco in Trilogy. All 3 of you were conscientious, careful and very thorough about doing the job. I think it would be a good idea to inform prospective customers that you charge by the PANE of Glass, not by each entire window. You counted 38 WINDOWS in my house, but they are all PANES, NOT WHOLE WINDOWS. I don't think that the clerk that answered the phone and my questions really told me the real story - about how to count the number of PANES so that I could understand the charge. She said the estimate was $149 with free screen cleaning, but Josh counted panes when he arrived and told me that it would cost $259. That is quite a jump from $149. This is the second time we have used Windowsmith. Can't be happier!!! They called to remind us it's been a year and we set up an appointment. I was given a price over the phone including their coupon discount which was amazing because I didn't have a coupon!!! They ask for cash or check. Jordan and Taylor arrived promptly in the window of time given to us. They wore masks, gloves, overalls, very neat and clean. Told us the plan and went to work. We are on the second story so they brought their ladder and made sure any dribbles to the downstairs unit were cleaned up. Took their shoes off when inside. 25% of my windows are sparkling clean thanks to Windowsmith. Here's the push back. They gave me a quote over the phone. In my case it was estimated to be $299. A little more than we have paid others for complete window cleaning services, but with the holidays approaching and availability I enthusiastically agree to these terms. For context, I answered the person providing the phone quote that we had an interior courtyard with large windows in our one story home and divided light windows. Gave her our address (assuming she was accessing Google Earth during our conversation) and very accurately estimated our square footage at 2,800. Imagine my shock when they arrived and their walk around jumped the price to $740.00. My heart rate still hasn't returned to normal! End result...very nice young lady and her companion washed maybe 25% of my most needy windows for nearly $300. One hour, 20 minutes start to finish. Wow. read more

These guys came at 7am on the dot. They were both adorable. One cleaned the window outside the other Cleaned inside. First, the screens were washed and wiped. The inside gal cleaned each Louvered window. After that they used the squeegee inside and out. Voila! Beautiful sparkling windows.? If you need your windows cleaned, look no further. From the moment they arrived, we knew this was a very professional company. Very covid aware and super conscientious about keeping things clean during the process. Our team was led by Chrissy, who did an initial walk through of our home and offered options with any additional costs upfront. She was very professional and kept me updated along the way, showing me any areas to discuss. We have an unusual home, two stories built into a hillside slope with 120 windows, and 12 sliding glass doors, and hard to reach areas. Chrissy along with Hudson, Haley and Spencer got to work right away and worked non stop for hours until the job was completed. Inside and out, including screens, sills and tracks. Our windows were very dirty, and the home is 45 years old, so you can imagine what can build up on a hill. Our windows and screens now look brand new! We really could not believe the difference and will definitely hire them again for annual cleaning. They also offer screen repair, which was a great convenience as we had a couple of slider screens that had seen better days. They take the screens, repair in their shop, and return quickly. I continue to use Windowsmith because their service is absolutely wonderful. The crew shows up on time. Everyone is in uniform. The work is done quickly and quietly with little disruption to my home. The crew leader checks in throughout the job with any irregularities (I had broken and sliced screens). Their pricing reflects the level of service and I think it is inline. You get what you pay for has never been more accurate...good price, good job. I will not look for another window washing company, I have found the best. Most disappointing experience. They gave me a 2 hour window period, called me near the 2 hour mark, and said it will be another 2 hours. Her (operation manager) excuse was, someone called in sick AND her previous job was taking an extra 2 hours. She was very unprofessional and unhelpful. When I reminded her that this sort of behavior is what gets a negative review, she asked if I were threatening her, I said a review system is a way to help consumers know what and whom they are dealing with. She then said I will call you in five minutes, and she did! She said, "You are a bully and we are not coming." I give Windowsmith four stars for window cleaning, but one star for screen replacement. I have used Windowsmith for many years to clean my windows. Their team is always courteous, clean and does a great job. I have been a happy customer. So I decided to try them to re-screen my screens -- which dropped my opinion of them greatly. In fact, based on how they handled the issue that arose, I'll no longer be using them for rescreening or window cleaning. They created 4 new window screens for me, and did a nice job of it. But one of my Anderson Door sliders (for which they kept my frame and just re-screened it), was ruined and the other was visibly damaged. When they came back, there were deep scratches in the frame that removed the white paint. I now have really visible dark black marks on my white screen frames which cannot be repainted or cleaned. They will have to be replaced. While it may be understandable that they transported the screens without protecting the edges, what is inexcusable to me is the conversation with Windowsmith that followed. There was no "we're sorry" or "we'll make it right" or even an attempt to listen to the issue. The entire conversation was an argument about how it was impossible for Windowsmith to have damaged the frames. Really? You throw them in the back of a flatbed and there is "no chance" they will be damaged? In fact, they wanted to take my screens back again as hostage for full payment. NEVER use Windowsmith for screen replacement. And NEVER let anyone take your screens offsite. There are plenty of mobile services available that can make on-site repairs (and which I have used). My mistake this time. I thought that a company that was good at one thing would probably be ok at another. I was wrong. The customer accepts all the risk in this arrangement. Windowsmith has now lost both my window cleaning AND my screen business.....as well as that of my neighborhood HOA - for which neighbors post "use" and "don't use" vendors. read more

All the time owner takes to write review he could have made customer "satisfied" with their work and tried to get the screen door back on. Team leader had no idea to which opening the door went. Screen door still is off thanks to Windowsmith and I do not have my screens at all. They took them back!! Great, I have worked with MANY companies who work hard to do right by their customers and this is not one of them. I now have a broken screen door and no screens in my house. Not only had they already done a perfect job cleaning my windows & screens, I was thrilled to discover they have a custom screen service. They had been so kind in patching a couple old, small holes (when they had cleaned), but I realized some new ones were in order. Layne & Aaron took 3 (15-year-old) beat-up screens, & returned with beautiful, strong replacements (only about 3-4 days out). The size, quality, color, "thickness/density" & tightness of the mesh was perfect! So thank you all, including Eddie, who brought & installed the new ones. Called Windowsmith Window Cleaning on a Wednesday, indicating that I needed services before the weekend. We have a large home, 2 story, 4600sq. with many windows. They scheduled a next day, Thursday, service. Cleaners were here promptly at time scheduled, and within a 2 1/2 hour period all windows and screens were cleaned. We've been using them for about 3 years now (no idea why I haven't "yelped" them before) but they are amazing. Wow, I just saw Rob's reply to my review. Dishonest??? How so? Please explain. I wrote exactly what occurred. If anyone could be called dishonest, it would have to be Rob. Yes, my original review was not accepted because I happened to mention the name and contact details for the company that did my windows for $200, not because I made any false claims. Windowsmith may get high reviews because they do a good job, I wouldn't know. That was not the issue. My issue was simply that they quoted one price, $465, then tried to pressure me in my home to pay almost double, $895...and that they are generally overpriced. Over the phone Rob indicated that he had cleaned our windows for the prior owner...so he knew the count and layout...so no reason to double his estimate upon arrival. read more
