I just wanted to update my review on EH Clean. I have been using Jana's service for many years now thru 3 different homes and I trust nobody else with my house cleaning. This last year we have had the pleasure of having Aliz and Yareli consistently for every cleaning and we are happy with their service. For Christmas, we gifted our daughter and her husband residential housecleaning services by EH Clean. Jana was very accommodating and we were able to schedule with less than 2 weeks notice. Timing was perfect as spring is just around the corner and the house is now spic and span! Team 5 comprised of Lisseth and Dolores (love the personalized aprons) arrived promptly at their scheduled time. Their supervisor, Gloria arrived shortly thereafter to introduce herself and to go over protocol. Both Lisseth and Dolores were exemplary and far exceeded our expectations! They cleaned/dusted areas that other cleaners never touched. We were very impressed with their cleaning and attention to details. Their work was exemplary! Do not use this cleaning company. They broke items in my house and ruined my bathroom floors by using toilet bowl cleaner to clean the them. They took no responsibility for it and I had to spend $1,000 to fix my floors. They don't always have the same crew and when they have a replacement person come in they are not trained well and do not speak English so you cannot communicate what you need done on your home. I don't think I can say enough bad things about this place. Apparently, they have enough friends and family to give them an impenetrable high rating online. At any rate, here goes. So, as was suggested on the side of one of their three cars parked on my street, I reached out via text. I was planning on posting the entire thread here because of its hilariously comical elements, but I can summarize it much easier by telling you that EH Cleaners deletes any text threads older than an hour or two. So, every 3rd or 4th text gets a "Who's this?" or something to that effect, and the whole thing starts all over again. Hilarious. After a week and a half of this, on the eve of my alleged appointment, I verified the appointment. She once again acted like we HADN'T been speaking for over a week and said that I wasn't on the schedule but, she could have someone come between 1030-1200. SO, at 1215, I texted to get an ETA and got a sassy reply with a NEW window of 1100-1300. I told her that's not what she said, she argued with me. I repeated that I ONLY asked for an ETA and got no reply. At 1235, I got a text saying they were here.  Two hours later, my oven door was broken, my floor was still sticky, my toilet was still dirty, and they were on the phone demanding payment while implying the whole trainwreck was my fault. It was a horrible experience and a waste of $160. read more

BEWARE!!!! As others have said, there is no recourse when things are damaged. And yes, Jana comes across as very professional and is all sweetness and light until there is an issue. After one of her obviously untrained people took a scouring pad to my stove top, resulting in irreversible scratches, and another actually drove over some wood pieces in our driveway that were way out of the way, damaging a few of them beyond use, as they were cut to exact measurements, Jana acted like it was no big deal and refused to even come to my house to inspect the damage. Very poor business practices to say the least! And then she expected me to pay her anyway, which didn't happen! If I could give minus stars I would. read more

So I found this place on google and I went to the website and requested an estimate unfortunately I ended up in an ambulance to the hospital because I was having a miscarriage clearly not planned. On this same day hours Later I check my phone and I see I have a voice mail from Jane Alexandrou saying she's at my home. I called her and let her know I apologize I am not home I am in the hospital. She had an attitude and I can understand her frustration but I was in the hospital alone dealing with my situation. I later on tried to reschedule for weeks leaving text messages calling and emails today I left another email and text and got a response. The response we are fully booked I said ok I just want to know have you gotten my emails so I can book in the future her response Book with someone else. My response I sure will! We are still using EH Clean and couldn't be happier! They are taking serious precautions to keep themselves and us safe during COVID-19. They disinfect all of their equipment before and after entering our home and wear fresh masks, shoe coverings, and gloves at each house. We have hired countless house cleaners over time and have never been 100% satisfied until hiring EH Clean. It is clean that each cleaner is trained and are held to high standards. Two stars because Team 10 did a decent job 1/2 the time. I wish I had read these reviews before hiring EH Clean for biweekly cleaning. My complaints mirror much of what I've read here. Jana does a great job of selling her business. She even rearranged other clients to accommodate my day/time request. The first team did an amazing job because I had to pay more for the first time. This is typical of most cleaning companies. Unfortunately, that initial team was not available for my regular service, but Jana would send "a team just as good, if not better." Communication about the service and staff is only through Jana, and only by text. Jana was always very protective of her staff and their quality of work. This is commendable, but she would become defensive of any criticism, and always tried to find a reason that it was my fault. The cleaning team was very rude to my teenage children. I've had many cleaning services through the years and I've never witnessed such rudeness of a cleaning service. The final straw was one day when the team arrived and my daughter and I were home. I had asked my daughter to pick up her room for the cleaning service. Once, several months ago, I had the team skip her room because she has left it a mess. However, she had done a great job this time. The team came in, barely acknowledged our presence and rushed through and left.l without saying anything. I was working in my room and my daughter was outside. After they left, my daughter came in and asked me if I had told the cleaning team to skip her room. I had not. Ii looked around, and not only had they skipped my daughter's room, they had done a horrible job. All my kitchen cabinets were sticky, and it looked like they hadn't touched the floors. I texted Jana but Alexa answered instead, an hour later. Her first question over text was, "haven't they skipped the room before?" After much back and forth, I asked that the team come back that day to finish the job. No response. I finally sent a text to Jana/Alexa saying that if I didn't hear from them by a certain time, I was putting a stop payment on the check and canceling the service. I was out of the house when I finally received a reply. They were canceling my service AND wanted me to know that "Team 10 always does a great job with no complaints." My daughter called me an hour later to tell me that one woman from team 10 had rang the doorbell, told my daughter to move, then walked up the stairs into my daughter's room, spent 15 minutes cleaning, stomped down the stairs and slammed the front door. Wow. Just Wow. read more

After having our home cleaned by EH Clean for several months, we have moved on. Here are my issues: 1. Our home is full of natural stone and we caught them using acidic and abrasive products on our Carrara and Limestone several times after clearly telling them to use a very specific natural stone cleaner that we supplied. 2. Our house was never clean. Lights were dusty, it was never clean behind the sinks and they never once removed our sofa cushions. These are just a few of many examples. 3. Jana can have an attitude and is not shy about getting in your face. She can be aggressive and blunt. This is probably a cultural issue, but one that has no place in customer service. 4. Flexibility is not a priority. If you cancel, expect to be told that you have to pay the $100 cancellation fee that you agreed to, which is fine, other than it would be nice to have a little cooperation when it 's possible to avoid that. Ultimately, Jana screwed up and tried to blame us, her customers, for a mistake that she clearly made. She also tried to "discipline" us to make sure that "it never happens again". I guess it is more important to her to be right than successful. Jana is big about soliciting positive Yelp reviews, which is smart. Unfortunately, this didn't serve me well as her profile here does not match the service that I received. Regarding vendor's response to my review: I agree that communication is important, and that is the issue here. We didn't cancel at the last minute, we canceled 68 hours in advance. We had every expectation that we would have to pay the fee as we agreed in the contract. What I cannot tolerate is being blamed for your misunderstanding of our clear intent to cancel, then trying to discipline us by asserting that you will enforce your cancellation fee. We canceled, you sent your staff anyway, that's your mistake. Even if it were ours, charge us the $100 and move on. Don't try to blame your customer as you complain about how you were "not happy" about the inconvenience caused by your failure to understand a clear request. We also repeatedly asked your staff *not* to use Fabuloso on our natural stone. We caught them using it on a very delicate Limestone floor. That this is happening should concern you; not as much for our expensive floors, but perhaps for your E&O policy. read more

Yana is unprofessional in every aspect. I have never experienced such an unethical business owner in my entire life. Jana assured me she does not change cleaners, I would have two people assigned to clean my 3,600 square foot home every two weeks. She assured me they would speak ENGLISH. Every appointment included a new person that did not speak English. Jana would show up to the home unannounced, park in my driveway blocking my car, leaking oil form her range rover, walk through the door, in personal rooms that were closed off without permission or identifying herself. Yes, she would see me in a room and walk by as if I was not there. Yes, in my own home. I did not appreciate the way she talked to her employees especially in front of a client. I finally gave up when she assigned a new woman to clean my home and instructed her to clean it for free to make sure she was a good candidate. It is illegal for Jana to have someone clean my 3,600 square foot home for free. Within an hour the woman gave up and left my home. Jana left with the woman and had another lady call me to say that something came up and the one worker would stay until 8p to finish cleaning. Cleaning should only take four hours not eight hours. The other worker stayed until 8:30p, I gave her a huge tip and kindly explained that I would no longer be working with EH Clean. The Better Business Bureau has many complaints. Ever wonder why they use a PO Box and don't have a physical address? Do your research. Jana has changed the name of this business several times. WARNING TO ALL, do your research. Do not let anybody come in your home with your family. read more

After being spammed by her for months even after asking to be removed, I finally was ready to get estimates. I emailed her with a request to CALL me and not email me. 5 Minutes later I got an email from her. In the email she basically said that its everyone elses fault that they "waste" (Paraphrase, my word, not hers) their time. To put it exactly she said: "we send out our follow up emails till we hear back from those who requested our estimate. Service Magic now Home Advisor sent me your request to be contacted so that's what we have done. Trust me the last thing I want to do it spam people. I wish people would be more straight forward and return our first email whether they are interested in our services or not. It would save us so much time. I'm already out of the office till Wednesday night, it's my birthday weekend and I will not be working so please send me your address and desired time to meet. I can meet you Thursday afternoon or evening, Friday middle of the day or Saturday 2-3pm." I want every business owner to pay attention here....this is EXACTLY how to NOT get my business. Appear condescending and blame the customer .. who is going to give you money .. for you being overbearing in your email tactics. Jana...you will never get my business....I posted the full correspondence between you and I on my facebook page with 200+ friends who have seen it. I am posting it here on Yelp.....where THOUSANDS more will see it. Once they expanded (got BIGGER) and started to hire ppl the service began to slip - they have a team of 3-5 ppl in your home to cut the time in half - Many of them don't really care, and there have been times they were on their phones or eating on the job. EH Clean has been cleaning my house on a weekly basis for 9 years. My home is relatively large, has multiple types of surfaces -- hardwood, carpet, stone, tile, granite. Additionally, we have two inside cats and two dogs who come inside in the evening. Our current team is Maria and Noemi. They are excellent. They arrive on time, and stay until the job is done. They are well versed in what products to use to clean every type of household job. If I want a particular product to be used, they'll use it. If there is a question about what to use on a specific issue, Jana (the owner) will research it and get back to me. I recently had the occasion to need housecleaning advice for an out of the area home. On the weekend, Jana responded twice to my questions with extremely detailed suggestions and offers to research the specific problems on the internet and report back to me. I hired EH Clean based on the reviews on Yelp and Angie's List. Never having a house cleaner before I am not able to compare this experience with any other. When I first met Jana to see if I was going to hire her I was impressed with her professionalism. She got a tour of my house, gave me a packet with more details of how the cleaning worked, and a copy of her license and bonding. Out first cleaning was deep clean. There were 2 women working for about 6 hours. Both of them were so hard working, hit the ground running, and never stopped. They were also very nice individuals, people I liked having in my house. They spoke English very well. Not something I considered an important quality until it was listed as a feature on Jana's promotional materials. On their second visit the women said we were not that messy and may want to consider a less expensive option with Jana. I appreciated their honesty. I find their cleaning thorough. If they miss a spot I point it out and the next time is it clean without me even saying anything. For example, I have a large cat tree and they did not think to vacuum the cat hair and nails off it. I pointed it out once, the cleaned it before they left, and the next visit it was perfect. The most important feature of EH Clean is the people they sent me. I don't want someone in my house that I can't communicate with or don't like. Jana's must be in hiring good talent know how to clean, can stay on task, and who are likable. Wow, I do not think my house was this clean and organized since I moved in! Aleandra and Carolina arrived, I gave them a walk-thru and explained what I want them to concentrate on and left them alone. They cleaned my bathrooms and bedrooms first, and these rooms are spic 'n span!! My toiletries and make-up were organized into the drawers and cabinets! I was never able to figure it out!! The shower and bath are spotless!! My kitchen! Amazing!! Everything from the counter found a place in the cabinets!! I did not know how to organize the kitchen and voila! it is done!! Thank you!!! Even the dishes are cleaner than I can ever get them! The fridge, stove and microwave are clean as they can be! Without using chemicals (parrots in the house!) I am amazed about how clean the appliances are! Now for the living room and dining room areas, aka parrot sanctuary. Wow, wow, wow! I expected for me to only pick up all the papers from the floor so the ladies can sweep and mop the floors. I picked p all the papers and tossed it, but they went above and beyond on the cleaning! They cleaned everything, the windows, the ledges, and even the inside of the Java tree trays! They put everything away and organized my magazines. I paid for 4 hours (2hrs/pp) and I was happy to pay for another 1hr/pp ... I am definitely signing up for bi-weekly services from EH-Clean as I am so happy to have my house so clean and organized and look forward not having to do it all by myself!
