I visited this place in order to find a prom dress. Now, I am not a very skinny girl, but I'm also not a very big girl. However, their selection of dresses seem to only fit the "ideal" body type. Their selection does not take into account girls with bigger chests, and they have a very small range of sizes. In addition, the amount of fallout from the glitter was insane. The value of the dresses seems pretty decent, it's just the glitter was everywhere. Service was okay. I had no problem with going into the changing rooms or anything like that. However, please, Windsor. Please take care of us girls that are on the bigger side. Diversity is key. This place creates insecurity and frankly made me feel like I wasn't worth being invited to prom by my partner.. read more

I took my daughter to Windsor on Tuesday night to look for a prom dress. When we found a few she liked, and we went into the dressing room so she could try them on. One of the workers, Kayla, banged on the door and made us get out of the dressing room because we didn't show her how many dresses we were trying on. My daughter didn't have clothes on and she tried to barge into the room. What a pervert! I have never in my 40 years seen anyone so rude or disrespectful. If they don't want customers to use the dressing room, they should invest in key locks so they can monitor their use. Because of Kayla, we did not buy any dresses from Windsor, and will NEVER shop there again. Management needs to reevaluate who handles customer service because we were not the only ones who were mistreated while I was there. Shame on you Kayla! And shame on Windsor for allowing paying customers to be treated like this. Avoid this store at all costs!! read more

my wife and I went to Windsor at Crossgates mall today, we went into the dressing room together... because she needs help getting dressed... she has a condition that she can't bend down very much, all the workers started yelling at us to get out that we couldn't be there, however other people also came out of the dressing room as a couple and they were told "Not You Guys" and these people responded that it is ridiculous that they don't let 2 people into a dressing room... they scolded us but not the others! They yelled at us, it was embarrassing , nowhere did I see that they said one person at a time is not in their regulations or policy. The reason I went in with my wife was to help her because of her condition... they didn't even ask, they just yelled at us! Teach your worker to be polite and respectful!!! read more

I have been so disgusted at the service at Windsor. The first time I set foot into Windsor I was disgusted at their outrageous prices. I don't mind spending my money but I hope that the quality of the clothes are settled to the price that I am paying. Their quality is absolutely horrendous. They're are not much places to shop so I found myself going once again. This second time I literally heard a manager tell one of their employees to trail some young black girls around the store. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard this. Never in my years that I think I would hear something like this. As a African American myself I was distraught and told myself I would never give this store my business. It was only by a third time that I actually spent something by accident. I told one of my friends to go to the mall to buy something for me for an event we had to attend that evening. She ended buying an outfit from Windsor. I was not only outraged by the fact that she bought it from Winsor, or the quality of the clothes but the fact that the clothes were in fact dirty. It was an white suite that practically looked yellow in some parts. I was mad at both Windsor for selling this but my friend for buying this. When I tried to return it only two weeks after (she bought it right before Thanksgiving) I was met with so much disgust. I got to the register, no one was there. My transaction was carried by an employee who didn't know how to use the machine and by a manger who didn't even acknowledge my presence. The manager was a witness to an employee who didn't understand the return policy. Who left her at the register with her ignorance on how to use this machine. Never felt so annoyed at a clothing establishment before. They clearly need a seminar in customer service!!! WINDSOR NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT !! read more
