this is by far the worst car wash I've ever been to. The wheel cleaner, they used sprayed up the sides of my and now I can't get it off and they refuse to do anything about it re-washing the car did not work. Never use this place. It's rundown dumpy and the service is horrible. read more

Nice area to hang out in while waiting. Very friendly you don't have to wait long. There's water for you while waiting and free WiFi! They even help you take stuff out of your car if you want. The staff is very friendly and I will keep coming back! You can also get oil changes, purchase windshield wipers, and rubber car mats if you don't already have them! The owner- or I think he's the owner supervises the staff very well and checks over the cars before they leave. Very pleased with the quality. read more

Poor prep with some power wash but no brush. Air driers don't work. One guy at the end running around during to vaccuum and towel dry cars holding up other cars in the wash bay. Very unsafe with little to no service. Car was all spotted with dirty water marks. read more

Service was quick, but my car could have been cleaner. Also, a bit pricey. Went for the most expensive option because I needed the inside of my car cleaned. They did an "okay" job. The wells in my rubber floor mats were full of water. I may or may not be back. read more

Very rude and very unprofessional place. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Brought my truck in to be washed, and when they finished there was sticky stuff on the top of my wheel well that was not there before. The owner came out and argued with me and said it was my fault. Just had my car done which I keep up well. When I left, my grandson's finger prints were still all over the glove box; cup holder wasn't even wiped out. They simply washed it and did a quick vacuum. This was plan #3 for $19. Oh, they did put the tire shiner on. read more

Avoid this auto wash. Staff does a dismal job and is beyond rude. The attendant who should have been working the register to accept payment was absent, and was later found outside on his cellphone. When it was time for my car to go through the wash, it was backed out and another car was put ahead of mine. The driver floormat was removed for the cleaning, but the rest were left. When asked why not all floormats were cleaned, the attendant said is was only done as a courtesy. Inside of doors are no longer wiped down. When I called to later ask for the owner and his name, he became enraged and defensive, and hung up on me 5 times. He eventually told me his name but said I was wasting his time with my call. At one time, this was a great place - my son actually worked there while in school. It has seriously gone downhill. read more

Will never come here again. The person who did my oil change stripped the plug and created an oil leak. Cost me money to re-tap my car and get a new plug as well as another oil change. Called to speak to a manager and they would not put a manager on the phone to speak to me. Very upset and will be following up with them to get my money back for damages. read more

I came to Windsor Locks Auto wash to get my car cleaned, I choose number 5, and when my car came out, there was dirt on the car mats, the back looked like it hadn't been vacuumed and the outside mirrors were still dirty. I asked him to re vacuum the car mats and he became annoyed and said it was the foot prints from the guy who cleaned the car. I told him for $25 I would like them clean, he became louder and kept saying this is what I paid for, but I didn't pay for dirty car mats or dirty interior! I went inside to pay the $25 and told him that I would not come back, and he said he wouldn't let me back and yelled at me to get out, he got louder and louder and started becoming verbally abusive, swearing and cussing! While getting into my car I told him his service sucks and he made as to throw his water bottle at me, and when I picked up my phone to record, he started undoing his pants. I drove off completely freaked out, my hands shook so bad I couldn't even get a picture! I will never go back there! Women really shouldn't go there solo as this guy looked like he was about to become physically violent, and I'm debating whether to go the the police. Needless to say, NO STARS! read more

This is literally the worst car wash I have been too. Let me share that this is the second time I have brought my car here since they changed ownership a few years ago. I just paid for the basic wash which does include drying my car. When the car came out, the manager/owner dried my car within seconds and then proceeded to drive my car out and told me "it's ready"! My car was Still very wet and dripping from multiple areas where it should be dry. After bringing this to the manager's attention, he quickly stated "it is dry" and "that it will continue to drip no matter what". I explained that dripping is not the issue but that there are water droplets and spots all over my car. He verbatim said that's "what you get when you pay for small car wash"! I explained he still needs to dry it , and he said he wouldn't. He then proceeded to get in a back in forth verbal altercation with me about not wanting customers like me there after I told him I would make sure I never come back and review him. I drove away from gas station while he was still talking out loud at me with other customers around. Very unprofessional, bad car wash, and the heat was not on while older customers were waiting, not to mention no WiFi. Do NOT go here. read more
