I took a shorts to get tailored. A front desk guy who wore glasses told me it was a one-week job. Even I did not know anything at mending clothes, I know it was a half- an- hour job for a professional tailor. OK, I understood all businesses were busy before July 4th. When I cam back at 5 pm on July 5th, the day they promised to finish. My shorts was still the same as I gave them. They asked me to come back 30 min later, but I cannot and I was very dissatisfied. I picked up my shorts today. The guy with glasses service again, and I told him this story. He just collected my money, and gave me back my change. After that, he just walked away. Accidentally bought a dress that had a stain on it (didn't realize til after I got home). Brought it in and asked if they could remove it, if not, I asked them to leave the tags on. These people saved my life! My wonderful husband waited last minute to get his suit ready for a wedding we were going to on Labor Day. (mind you, he gets the suit ready on Saturday). By ready, I mean he found it from his closet.... He goes to work and leaves me with the responsibility of getting it dry cleaned! I looked for dry cleaners all day, and no one wanted to dry clean this damn suite! Everyone said it wont be ready until Tuesday! Not Windsor... I finally found them at 5:30pm from my apartment in Glendale. I got in my vehicle at 5:40, and arrived at 6:03pm (I called and warned them that I was coming) They were supposed to close at 6pm, but they waited for me and dry cleaned and pressed (as well as they could) my husband's suite! I cannot rave more about this place. Definitely not the closest place to me, in terms of home, work, or Lower East Side, but I choose this place still. The couple that runs this place are the friendliest and warmest pair you'd ever meet. You are greeted by name, and smiles when you enter. And this isn't just me, you can tell how they interact and greet others as they walk in as well. I saw the Dan (one of the two) help an older lady, walk her belongings to the car parked outside to the side walk, class act. One of my visits, I threw in a shirt in the pile that I was pretty much going to be rag duty because of an old stain. Like a 'why not' last hurrah type of clean. Guess what? It's clean. Now I have to lose 10lbs to fit back into it but I digress. If you're reasonable person with reasonable requests, you can't really do better. There is also a parking lot too. Great service from a friendly staff. I took in some 40 year old, shear white curtains that were in need of serious attention. The staff was super accommodating, and took a close look at my curtains before taking them. They thought the curtains might not survive the washing, and promised to call me back if they had concerns; they also said I would not be charged if the curtains were damaged in the wash! Wow! This place is amazing! I had brought a dress i needed dry cleaned for a wedding somewhere else, and when I went to pick it up, they never did it nor called me. I had a little over 24 hours to find a new place. I was starting to get nervous. I started searching for another place and came across this gem. I'm so happy I did. They saved me. Provided the worst wedding dress alteration service. The guy who works at the front is very nice but the tailor is very rude and unprofessional. Last December I was looking for a tailor to hem my wedding dress. After looking at reviews for different places that provide alterations on yelp, I decided to try this place. When I first brought my dress in for the alteration, the tailor seemed to be very nice at first and I was told I can leave the dress with them for now since they can't alter the dress due to the wrinkling of the dress and call back in January to schedule a date to start the alteration. I called back in January and I was told the tailor is busy with another dress and told I should try to call back in February. I tried to call back in February and I was told again they can't give me a date. I tried again in March and April and they still couldn't provide me a date. The last time I spoke to them on the phone was late April. During the last phone call, I overheard the tailor (who was speaking in cantonese) called me annoying but all I wanted was a date to come in for the alteration. Also, since February I've been telling them I will need my dress by early May. After that I decided I retrieve my dress back and stop wasting my time. read more

Their alterations are accurate and inexpensive; and they have yet to ruin my expensive pieces (unlike other dry cleaners which have lost or damaged vintage buttons on blazers). I went here for the first time a few days ago because my bf needed his suit to be dry cleaned next day or same day for a last moment interview. And I was very happy with this establishment. They were very courteous on the phone and I explained my situation. They told me they'd aim for 6 pm if not 8am the next day , after I dropped it off at 3 pm. They were fast, very nice, and no language barrier. It's usually difficult communicating to the dry cleaners due to their lack of English, but I must say I was very happy I was able to express what I needed to be done with no issues. It also cost 8.99 for a suit, which is by far the cheapest I ever had. And it was ready at 530 pm rather! They were very nice and conversed with me when I picked it up, which shows their great customer service and long hours! Thanks guys! read more

I needed a dry cleaner, my old cleaner from decades back RIP, very nice dude ! I got caught in major down pour in Brooklyn & my new suit was drenched. I took it to Windsor Cleaners, Dan was delightful dude who took care of me. While I was there I have this Mets jacket with a broken zipper that I really didn't want to disgard, I showed to Dan, he said no problem , they fixed it & gave me a good price. I brought pants that 2 tailors said could not be altered and they were able to do it perfectly.
