    We hired this company to install 3m film on a customer's home in Gregory Mi. we asked for a quote…read morefrom Michigan glass they said it would be $450.00 then Michigan glass asked if it was installed on the inside and outside of the glass, we agreed it should be on both sides. they proceeded with the work and we were billed 800.00 for the work which was double the original quote. at this point we already turned in the estimate to insurance company so we had to cover the extra cost. then 9 months later they installed the outer film with an additional charge $975.00 so after the original quote of 450 we had to eat the remaining cost of $1,325.00 please be aware of their quote deviations this company is not very good at giving correct and accurate estimates.....

The coatings appear to impact heat loss and gain as advertised and we believe it was a good long term investment for our comfort, reducing heat/cooling costs and the protection of our furnishings. However, visual light continues to impact fabric fading, prospective shoppers should be aware. While a lot of services were purchased from them in our perspective, recently I couldn't understand their response regarding a question when a few coatings showed shriveling, apparently due to aging. I was surprised when hearing that as we didn't have the receipt and they were also out of warranty. Aging happens and to live with it. Communicated to me directly in our home during inspection of the problem by a man who indicated that he was a co-owner. I could be wrong, however, recalling that his name may be Craig. Perhaps the coatings have been improved with more modern science and manufacturing improving their life expectancy.
