GP, which is 45 mins away from my home, and an hour in traffic from my work, quoted me a flat rate with parts and labor included, which was $20 more than a shop in my neighborhood. The removal and install was fast, and the gentleman was very professional. My bill was actually $20 more than the flat rate quoted. Therefore, I ended up paying $40 more than I would have paid had I gone to a local shop, 1hour 45 mins driving, and a 1/4 tank of gas. Pricey lesson learned. However, I'm grateful that my windshield is fixed before winter. I recommend this location for folks who live in the area. It's clean with a comfortable waiting room. Also, if you're low in cash, make sure you know that "flat rate" doesn't mean the same to everyone. Use the Project tool to receive quotes, etc, but do extra homework and know exactly how much a service will cost you in exact pricing, considering your travel (gas) expenses, and time when comparing.

The first windshield was installed high to the roof on the left and shifted as far right as the glass could go. Another replacement was ordered at this point and when that glass was installed the installer damaged the paint all the way around the edge of the glass. They also damaged the interior A-pillar and steering wheel in the process. Now the glass had to be cut out again and reinstalled. The edges of the glass was damaged in multiple locations and the rubber seal around the edge has now been replaced with a foam that is not up to the standard it should be. There was also excess foam sticking out about 1" at the top corners of the glass. This is absolutely unacceptable for a warranty repair whether it is within your spec or not. Now the dealer is ordering another new windshield and hopefully will find someone else to cut out and reinstall the new one. This will be the 4th windshield in my vehicle due to incompetent installers.

In their brief conversation, he without hesitation said he would help and come to the funeral home to clean the car in our garage, and that he would not be charging for the services. There are no words to describe the stress and chaotic feel of those days, nor the overwhelming emotional toll. Drew and his associate Romani Jackson showed up in the early afternoon on Saturday, and their presence was of immediate comfort. I went to the garage with them and explained the importance of the task ahead, that his vehicle would be transporting these two young victims, and that for many people who would attend the funerals, their last image would be this vehicle driving away. During this explanation, as I became visibly emotional, Drew asked if he could give me a hug. Here was this young guy, not even half my age, comforting me, the older funeral professional. I went through the car with them and explained what I needed detailed and what areas to not worry about. Drew and Romani shared their story of feeling honored to come assist and how they came to be the ones who were called to be there. Their presence was calming and restorative to me and my staff, it seemed they were doing more than detailing the car. But detail the car they did....for about six or seven hours. The love and care they put into the work was extraordinary. Those areas I told them not to worry about; they were completed as well. Every inch of the hearse was meticulously and extensively tended to. These two guys put their hearts and souls into making sure there was no part of that car that was not perfect. I was obviously impressed with the work they did, and have been equally impressed with the multiple cars that Hi-Resolution has detailed for me since. What is hard to adequately explain is the profound impact Drew and Romani had just with their spirit. They provided a light where there was so much darkness. I believe it was beyond chance that brought Andrew and Romani to us that day, and whatever forces lead them to us, I am thankful.

Mr. Andrew James came to my home quoted the job, i accepted, and set a date of service for, Acid Wash, Surface Oxidation Removal, on my personal watercraft. $ 302.50 The young man he sent out, worked very hard. After quite some time the worker told my wife and I," that it looks like a polish job, and it was on the house "!!! I explained to him, we don't work that way and monies would be paid accordingly. Mr. James came back at the request of his worker as the job was not going well as planned. I was told it would be complete per our agreement. After the worker had left, Mr.Andrew James called an asked how it looked. I told him it was shiny, but the oxidation still remained. He demanded i pay for a complete job. I offered $150.00 for a polish job. Not good enough, Mr. James demanded the monies in full. Being the bigger person i paid in full, with hopes Mr.Andrew James, would invest the money for more training and education on oxidation removal. Its not the $ 302.50 but the principle !!
