The scenery along the lake is beautiful and on many holes you are greeted with a view of the lake. The course is good but not so hard it makes it too difficult. I was really impressed with the staff in the proshop as well as the cafe in the club house. If you get a large soft drink they refill it for the day at no charge so you can get a refill at the turn then again as you finish. On a 95 degree day like it was for us today the free refills was very much appreciated. Overall this is a great course and one of the very best public courses in the state.

The fairways, greens and tee boxes were very well kept and I really enjoyed the hot dogs and burgers available on our pass through to the back 9. All 18 holes offer their own little challenge and the water obstacles are plentiful adding an extra edge to the day. The staff were all very helpful and caring as were the other golfers out on the beautiful Sunday we visited. This is definitely on my top 10 courses I've ever played at and I'm very excited for the next time

We played a few of the fields and they were all cool in their own way. We had paintballs left afterwards. I recommend wearing thick clothing, even though you will sweat. It will save you from having big welts and bruises! The price was fair. The location is easy to find. There is plenty of parking. The only thing I did not like about is that they only have a couple of porta potties. It would have been nice to have a place to wash our hands.
