We have gone to this park several times now and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit because there's something new to explore each time. From potting plants to goat yoga and even a train ride, there was plenty to do. The fest was geared more towards kids so if you're planning for a day of fun in the area, put it on your calendar. It's also dog friendly so if you want to bring a furry friend you're able to. We had a lot of fun although you can do just about everything in around 30 minutes. There's a few food trucks as well if you're looking for a bite to eat and there were free gift bags on the way out with snacks, which were nice. The largest lot should be rotated so the large dogs can have more room to run and some shade trees. There are no shade trees where they keep the large dogs. It's boring it's just big piece of grass we have to watch where you step. I've contacted the management and said why don't you put some trees in there if you're not going to allow the large dogs in the big lot? And they have all kinds of strange governmental excuses. Last year they said they were going to build some type of a cover inside the lot but never did.

I told her I was in site 15 for 2 days then moving over to site 13 for ten days. She said give me a few minutes I will call the guy in site 13, because she thought he had left early. I had to unload my tow car anyway, so I said great. She called me a few minutes later saying guy had left & I could just park in 13 for the duration. This saved me having to unhook & move RV. THAT IS great customer service!! Now the park. The sites are spacious, deep & wide. Easy to back into. Great areas to walk your dogs. Showers need a little TLC, but I checked all 3 that were open (1 was being repaired). One had a good shower I I took an early shower after setting up. The fields around the park are well maintained. Road getting to park (maintained by city was a little rough). No street sign at turn off, due to construction on road. Price to stay here is fantastic. Close to Dallas area & many other cities. I highly recommend this place.

I wish the money that was put into the park would be used to remodel the entire bathroom and showerfrom scratch and make it modern. It's so unfortunate that the leaders are supposed to upkeep public spaces are abusing the income of taxpayer money to benefit themselves. The gatekeepers nevertheless are very lovely people who greet customers. Therefore photos I have taken of the showers that I think needs to be addressed publicly and hopefully somebody will take action and fix the issue. Plus, there's no heater or fan in the bathroom that works. In the bathroom that doesn't have electricity doesn't have electricity and yet people still pay $14 a night for the entire system.

Duck Creek Greenbelt Trail is about 3 and half miles, looped trail located near Garland, Texas and…read morethe trail isn't very difficult. The trail is good for hiking, walking, running, and road biking. The trail is also accessible year-round. Dogs are welcomed on the trail but should be leashed. There is a lot to do there depending on your preference. The trail runs through some trees and eventually leads to a nice little scenic lake. The trail is made of concrete so its great for running , biking or anything else with wheels. The lake would be a good spot for a picnic too but be warned there's a lot of walking before you get to the lake. There's also a nice playground for the kids as well. I would avoid coming on to the trail if there was any rain in the previous days because the trail path can easily flood making it very unpleasant and too wet to cross. There is a soccer park close by if you want a wide open field as well. Check it out if your looking for something to do on a nice day!
