I haven't actually been here since my boyfriend and I broke up; however, I was in the area at beauty master and I decided to stop and see what they had and I'm so happy I stopped. I spoke to Gabe at the counter when he rang me up all the opened Funko's or four dollars so I snagged Mr. Oogie boogie. I will be cleaning him up and dusting him off and then I will be bedazzling him. Most of the comics I got besides from the two dollar comic were $.50 apiece and then he also bagged them up and put a paper backs in them as well for me. They sell them for I think $.15 apiece for the bags in the bags; they also own the store next-door, which is called last pack magic it is a trading card game store. If you are ever in the area, Mike's comics and collectibles has a wonderful selection of $.50 comics as well as comics that come out now I highly recommend stopping here. Gabe was super nice and gave exceptional guest service. 10/10

If you're going to have back issues or comics at all I behoove stores to have them bagged and boarded nice as it makes me as a customer more likely to buy. It has another side for Pokémon cards and stuff too.

If I ever owned a collectibles store, I would want it to look exactly like Gods & Monsters. This…read moreplace is impressively clean, fun, and thoughtfully laid out. Everything is where it should be--grouped by theme or franchise--so browsing feels more like exploring a curated pop culture museum than digging through clutter at some grungy and junky comic shop. The selection is fantastic: from comics and statues to posters, small plush, otaku, Pops, action figures, high-end collectibles, and more! Whether you're a gamer, a movie buff, sci-fi fan, or just love cool merch, you'll find something to geek out over for sure. The staff? Genuinely great. Friendly, welcoming, and super knowledgeable without being pushy. You can tell they love what they do, and it will make your experience that much better. You can actually have a real conversation with these guys! I am so tired of visiting stores that hire snotty, vacant, or indifferent employees. You DO NOT have to worry about that here. Oh, and they've got a geek bar inside the back of the store. Seriously. It was a bit too early in the day for me to grab a drink but it looked awesome the way it was decorated, so I'm definitely coming back with my wife some evening (and hopefully soon!). Plus, they're open late--huge win. Also, the location is perfect... right off International Drive and not far from Universal Studios. Whether you're a local or visiting Orlando, this is a must-stop spot. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which made the visit even better. While we wish they sold more masks and costume accessories, we were pleasantly surprised by how many cool items they did have. The store is very clean and well-organized. Highlights included the giant Gremlins and Pokémon vending machine, though sadly it was out of order, it was still fun to see! We also noticed a neat speakeasy out back that we definitely want to check out next time. Overall, this is a great spot for any nerd, collector, or cosplayer. We really enjoyed our visit and plan to come back!

I was in the Downtown Leesburg, FL area with my friend Tanya she had some stuff to pick up in the…read morearea but couldn't get it till 1pm. So while we were waiting I remembered there was a comic-book/collectibles shop in town, I knew this from all the times I have been to the Downtown Leesburg area and wanting to go inside the shop but never had enough time to go inside. First thing that I loved about the shop was the pretty lit name Not Just Cardboard which I thought was a really clever name for the type of shop it was. So once I entered the establishment I was transported to a Magical Land of throwback collectibles, yesteryear toys, toys from my childhood, throwback sport jersey, and an amazing collection of old and new comic books. I saw some toys inside there that I haven't see since I was a little kid, like the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger Morphing Action figures from the original toy line of the show which I believe are really hard to find if your a collector. The store is owned and operated by these three guys Mike, Mark, and Dave I was able to chat it up with both Mark and Mike both were really nice guys who had great customer service. They both really knew their stuff about the things they were selling in their shop very knowledgeable. They wanted me to let anyone who was making their way to the shop that they were in the middle of a remodel and that that's why it might look a little disorganized in the shop right now but that they are still open and that once the remodel is over its going to be a even more of a Magical Place for everyone who visit the shop. This kinda a shops are the shops that I love because you never know what you might find you could find something new or something that's is old but you will always find something magical that brings joy to your life and reminds you of how life should be lived because life is short and should be lived to the fullest. So in closing if you ever find yourself in the Downtown Leesburg, FL area and your looking for a little Magic that will bring you back to better days check out Not Just Cardboard.

But upon arrival, I can tell that it was a pretty laid-back please. The desk clerk was very knowledgeable about the games and their history, as well as some nostalgic items that were available. They also have lots of Funko pops if you're into that type of thing. I even like the way they use the ticket gun to price various items in the store. It reminded me of the old school candy store with the little stickers label posted on it. The items look well cared for and wrapped very thoroughly and methodically. I believe lots of the items are fairly priced and not overwhelmingly expensive. I was most impressed with the miniature video game console that sat at the front counter that pre-dated the Atari. What surprise me most about this location is that they had a actual arcade in the back with various games from the 80s like contra, galaxa, pong, Qbert, dig, dug, streetfighter, or Pac-Man, and they even had a racing game. Even though it was not a very, very large arcade, It really did bring back quite a bit of memories.
