We worked with Windy City Painters for the first time this January when we purchased a condo. Because we asked for a quote before we closed, Andy was able to provide us with a quick and accurate quote by checking the listing and floorplan. He worked with us through several changes as we decided the colors and areas we wanted to paint. When we had made our final decision, we were able to get a painter out within the following week to do two bedrooms and two bathrooms over two days. Camilo, our painter, arrived on time the first day and worked with my husband to dismount some of the fixings that had been left attached to the wall. He expertly covered the floors and fixed little nicks and holes that had been left by anything attached to the wall. When we checked the apartment after the first day of painting, we were so thrilled with his work so far that we immediately contacted Andy to ask if Camilo could also do our foyer. (Camilo had succeeded in erasing every trace of the bright greens that had been previously painted in the apartment.) Camilo came back the next day and was able to do our two bathrooms, in addition to the foyer. Writing to express my tremendous satisfaction with the ceiling repair work done recently in the kitchen of our rental unit. The artisan, Oskar, arrived right on time and completed the job in around five hours. He had to repair the ceiling due to an accident done earlier when an electrician's power drill fell through the kitchen from the attic. (No one was hurt!) Oskar assessed the situation, visited the nearby Home Depot, purchased the needed dry wall and supplies, then began the job. He was courteous and placed drop cloths across the floor. He had to cut a square and replace it with the dry wall. Then he sealed and painted the ceiling with a flat white paint. The price was very fair, and Oskar was very pleasant. We have reserved a return date from Windy City to paint our outside rear porch. read more

I wanted my 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo painted before I moved in. I had a short pocket of time and was on a budget. Turns out, you can't get it all. I am not gonna lie, if you're looking for a cheap paint job, move on and look elsewhere. Windy Painters are QUALITY painters! I always believe you get what you pay for. I had a verbal contract with a painter who quoted me $2200 for the job. Told me it would take him a week, no less. And then the guy didn't show up and never called me back, ever. Lol. I knew it was too good to be true. I met with Andy, who quoted me a bit higher. But Andy is honest, to the point, responsive and knowledgeable. They did the job in 3 days! His guys, OSKAR and RICHARD are AWESOME!! (Richard is very quiet, he maybe said 1 word the whole 3 days... Oskar seemed upset at Andy on Day 1, when he saw the condo. Said it wS impossible in 2 days). But they finished it all, and did an extra bathroom for me Professional, experts and they don't smoke or make a mess. I now notice how much of a difference a good paint job makes. Amazing, clean lines everywhere. Baseboards and crown molding are painted impeccably. I just had Kamil come to my condo for some drywall repair as well as a painting job in our primary bathroom. Throughout the process, Andy was also quick to respond provided a quote that was much more affordable than the other estimates I received. He was also able to get me on the schedule quickly. Kamil came exactly on time, worked so fast and was very friendly and nice. He even helped to unfasten some shelves that I didn't know how to remove to make sure the room was painted thoroughly and beautifully. He had a lot to do with both drywall repair and patching and painting and even finished an hour and 15 minutes earlier than I was told the project would take even with needing to add a 3rd coat of paint. Additionally the estimate was exactly what I was told upfront - no surprises which is always a relief as a home owner. My husband and I are first time homeowners, so it has been a little overwhelming trying to make the right choices and really do the right things to take care of our home. Windy Painters were hands down one choice we definitely got right! Andy came by to do the quote as soon as we had access to the place. He gave us an extremely fair and honest quote, sent us a same-day, detailed summary of the work they would do, and spent a significant amount of time just explaining to me what to think about with respect to taking care of a home and its walls. The metal staircase in the back of your business needed a rust removal and repaint service. I reached out to Andy through email with a few pictures of the affected areas and he responded only an hour later. He even ended up coming a day earlier than scheduled! Him and his team worked so fast we didn't even notice when they left.
