This is the can that Golf Digest said you "better get his beer quick because the Masters is going to sue this craft beer company out of existence". Can't believe I haven't reviewed this. Been here a few times a year for the past, I don't know, 10 years? It's not in my neighborhood anymore but I still stop by. Great selection of beers, all sorts, chilled and on shelves. I assume the wine selection is good but have never sampled it. I've found a few hard root beers, even. They have growlers now. Also lottery, snacks, etc. Very handy and appreciated in this neck of the woods, and a worthy stop if you're anywhere near this part of town. read more

Stellar selection, especially of single cans! I love being able to try a new beer before I commit to a 4 or 6 pack. This shop also has a huge selection of wine and some beer on draft for your growler needs. The owner was also incredibly kind and let me take some empty boxes for my cross town move. This place is craft beer heaven. They are the friendliest of all of the craft beer outlets I've been to around Columbus and have a huge selection. We were actually able to order me something custom from overseas once even. It's easy to get to off the highway and there is always parking. read more

We are having a wine party and I needed to pick up a few bottles. I decided to stop here hoping from the name of the store that they would have a large selection. They do not. Although there are a few aisle only the middle section is real wine. The outer sections are mixers and very cheap wine. The prices are a few dollars more than other places. There was only one person working and he was very friendly. I bought a couple wines. They also have beer, which takes up the majority of the stock. I'd probably come back since it's close to my house if I needed to grab something quickly. But if you're looking for wine that isn't the regular brands, then you may want to go somewhere else. read more

I cannot even begin to express how much we love this store. They have everything you could possibly even imagine and more. Maybe I'm exaggerating there because really there's only a certain amount of stuff that they can fit in any store but every time I come here I find a few things new to try and I'm pleasantly surprised by everything. Sometimes you buy a six pack of something new and you're not too thrilled about it and the rest of the unopened can or bottles just kind of sit around until someone comes over and either takes it home with them or we throw it out eventually. I've never done that from anything that I've bought here. I really like trying some of their ciders and the Wild Ohio tea drinks and I absolutely LOVE that they have nearly a whole shelf of different mead bottles. I am a wine drinker but I hardly ever even go down into that section because I'm always mesmerized by the things in the coolers. Most of the walls are lined with coolers for beer, the middle section is designated for wine and right next to the counters are where the mead is and single bottle small batch or specialty brews of all kinds. That's a great place to get something fun for a dinner party or a gift for someone. There's a case to your left when you walk in that usually has seasonal or newer items of all kinds. I've even seen beer reps in the summertime in this area. I've never once felt ambushed to buy anything from a rep since it is a laid back place. They have a section of single beers that you can make six packs or maybe even buy individually so that's kind of neat if you wanted to try something but did not want to commit to a 6 pack. I even feel like I've seen a growler filling station here in the front right corner. In the back right corner are where they have a whole wall of cigars. I don't smoke cigars but I do get them every now and then for my husband and sometimes his buddies if something special happened or as a nice treat. I like that they always have boxes to pack up things if you get a lot of things (like we usually do.) They use boxes from delivered items to the store so they're reusing them. Love that! They've even offered to help us carry our boxes out to the car which we have politely declined. We are always greeted and treated with kindness every time that we are here so the store definitely gets five stars. I love shopping at locally owned businesses and I try to be very mindful about it. Sometimes we get caught up with our day-to-day things and we go to chain stores to get beers or wine and I love this place so much that I will drive the extra few miles just to come here. Walking out of this store on a bright sunny day with arms full of good drinks with plans of having a great freaking day is a great feeling! Nobody could rate this store badly. Have stopped in here on a few occasions when I'm in the area. Each time upon entry I have been greeted by the owner in a friendly manner. I tend to wonder around for awhile not knowing what to try due to the wide selection of craft and import beers. Hell, you can even purchase single beers and put together your own 6 pack. On every occasion the owner has tried to assist me, but me being indecisive made it difficult. I've also observed they have a multi tap growler filling station, must make mental not to carry an empty growler in my car. The owner is knowledgeable in regards to the brew and very friendly. Have a wide selection of wine which I'll have to check out on future visits. On my last visit I even observed the owner carry another patrons child around so as to allow the customer to have some shopping time. He went out of his way to occupy the little one and kept it happy and content. Name me another store of any type that would or could do this. read more

This is a small, unassuming carryout with a great selection of craft/micro brews and imports. It's nice having a small shop in Westerville that sells good beer. The wine selection is pretty large but I've only gone for beer. Prices are reasonable but a lot of things aren't marked. They are now also selling growlers, which is awesome. I wouldn't put this place as a beer destination like Andersons or Whole Foods, but if you're close it's definitely worth a visit. read more

Recently discovered this place as I am new to the Westerville area. I love the beer selection and the growler filling station. I am not much of a wine drinker but the selection seems good. As with the others, I would prefer if items were priced on the shelves, but the staff is friendly and helpful As for the review that marked them down for not having liquor. This place is a little unassuming and I actually thought it was part of Harry Buffalo. I walked in, not sure what to expect and was BLOWN AWAY. They have one of the best craft beer in Columbus. They seem to have stuff from virtually every Ohio craft brewery...they really do have some hard to find beers. Of course, they also carry all of the "normal" beers too: Coors, Miller, etc. Their wine selection looked quite impressive too but my knowledge on that subject is pretty minimal. Based on their top-notch beer selection, I would say their wine selection is likely on par. They also have a cigar section as well. I should note that both employees offered help and were very nice. Nice selection of OH beers and high-end beers from everywhere else. I like wine very much, but I didn't even check out the wine area. I was here for beer and they had plenty of what I was looking for. Prices are fair and the service was friendly. I'll definitely be back the next time we visit family in the area. read more

Been a patron of the place for at least 30 yrs.....back when they had a deli and Alan was the proprietor. This place has been a Westerville Gem throughout that time. The place today has one of the largest collections of craft beers and a great selection of wines. They also work with their various distributors to special order something they may not carry. What really sets them apart is the customer service. You will not find better people than Jay and his wife...also they have a couple guys that work for them that are exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. No offense to the big box store across the street...but this is the place you want to stop for beer, wine, and accessories. read more
