We are regulars here, eaten here many, many times. Never had a bad meal here. We came again today, and as usual the food was great! However today our service was a bit lacking. Our waitress seemed to forget about us after she took our order. It was someone else who brought the food to the table, who didn't even check if the order was right, our waitress never checked that it was right. I had to ask another waitress who was walking by about our missing side order. Our waitress came for a coffee warmup exactly once toward the end of the meal. Never checked on the quality of the food, never checked if we needed anything else. All In all, the food is always great, I've never sent anything back, but our service today was definitely lacking, I shouldnt have to ask a waitress from another section for service. read more

The hostess greeted me as i walked in and immediately showed me yo my table. After that I WAITED for a server to come over to assist! Was it busy, absolutely not, did she pass me 4X before coming over, yes. Once she cane to take my order I was never asked if I needed anything nor ever came to refill my WATER! The cafe was hopping when I arrived but we were seated promptly and the waitress was there almost immediately with coffee. She was back fairly quickly to take our orders. We both ordered omelettes and I was surpirsed at how fast we were served. The food was served piping hot and was very good. This is a breakfast/lunch place and has a nive variety of brekfast and lunch items on the menu - serve have something for everyone. Good service + good food = a four-star overall rating. May I recommend you go to this one if you have no idea which diner to go to? The reason? Their house hot sauce. It was so spectacular. Decent breakfast house (and good for lunch as well)... Stopped in at the recommendation of my daughter-in-law, who used to go to school in the area. We came for breakfast and left quite satisfied. The location was strangely hard to find for the GPS, but find it we eventually did. We were promptly sat down and after the drinks were taken care of, we placed our breakfast orders. Selections ranged from southern favorites such as chicken and waffles, to a massive breakfast burrito, their bourbon banana package meal. All but the chicken and waffles weee fully enjoyed. The chicken was overdone (not inedible just very crispy) and the waffles weren't great. But at least the sides made up for that main dish. Service started out strong then simply disappeared- not sure why. Maybe short-staffed? Though it didn't look like it. But thankfully we were at least stocked with water on the table. I wanted a healthy lunch and I happened to be in the Westerville area with my mom so we came to Sunny Street Cafe for lunch. It was nice but quite pricey for a salad and sandwich. Here's what I liked about it, when we came in around noon it was not terribly busy so we got sat right away. They was ample room for my mom's scooter to be placed. So we sat down and had a nice lunch together. My mom ordered a tea and I got a coffee. Her main dish was the mixed green salad and mine was the Signature Reuben substituted with a side salad. (I know I should cut the carbs and not eat the Reuben, but I couldn't resist!) The Reuben has the corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. One thing I really didn't care for was the bread it came on, I think I could really taste the butter on the bread which killed the sandwich. I don't need my bread buttered heavily for a sandwich. Besides that service was good and food was alright. I think we just came here for the convenience and preference to eat healthier. I think I'll just stick with the breakfast menu in the future, as that's my best bet and what they are truly known for as a cafe. read more

Went with friends on Saturday morning before Mother's Day. Place was packed and had to wait for about 15 mins for table. There were 4 adults and a 12 yr old in our group. Once seated, our waitress had a great personality and took our order. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and decaf coffee. The 12 yr old ordered a breakfast that came with a biscuit. My husband and I found this place through Yelp, and decided to come here for breakfast during our stay in Columbus for our honey moon! We are from Charlotte, NC I ordered a protein wrap and he ordered a quesadilla. We were satisfied with both.
