We had a party of ten and were given the option of a private or public class. We decided to go for the public class & still got everything you'd expect from a private party. Recently hosted my daughter's sweet 16 here and I can't say enough WONDERFUL things about them! Lisa was incredibly communicative and helpful scheduling the party. Our actual party host, Justin, was very fun and appropriate when dealing with a group of 16 year old girls and two younger brothers! The instruction was fun and informative. Where do I begin... This is the funnest paint place I have been to. First thing you walk in the door and are greeted by the owner, who is the sweetest woman. The walls are filled with the most unique and fun paintings... not just trees and flowers like most places I've been to. The wine they carry happened to be one of my favorite wineries from Paso and Lisa and I chatted about our mutual love for the owners of that place. Once we started painting the instructor encouraged you to be creative and make the painting your own. It was so fun to see how everyone changed things around. They also let the group make song requests so they played something for every one. Including a special Happy Birthday song for my friend. The next morning I realized I lost my credit card and I called the shop and they took down my number for Lisa to contact me if she found it. She immediately sent me a text and told me she would be in the shop later that afternoon and would let me know either way... that night I got a text and a phone call letting me know she had found it. She was so sweet to go through every apron to look for it before starting class. I would definitely recommend this place to any one. Even if you think your not into these paint places or you have done them before, I promise this one is different than the rest and you will love it and have such a good time! read more

This is by far the best paint night experience my friends and I have ever had... no exaggeration! I reached out to the owner, Lisa, for help with putting together a surprise 40th Birthday party for one of my best friends and 14 other ladies. Lisa was reachable, informative, helpful, flexible, and creative! She worked with me on the timing of the evening to ensure we had a nice event. She allowed us to bring in food, desserts and decorations. Some of our girls set up a 1/2 hour before I brought the bday girl. We arrived and had the next half hour to eat and chat. Lisa totally let us do our thing. Then we started the painting portion of the night and can I just tell you IT WAS ENJOYABLE. My friends & I were worried based on past experiences where free-hand painting was expected and the instructors always went too fast and the event was stressful. Lisa took the time to draw the lay out of the painting we had pre-chosen onto everyone's canvas before we arrived. Hallelujah! She then went step by step with color mixing, brush size and paint placement all the through each section of the painting and then walked us through adding highlighting and shading details. This step by step process was accompanied by great genres of music in the background... of our choosing and of Lisa's recommendation based on our responses...which lead to great conversation about concerts attended and memories made with music. Lisa also asked genuine questions of the Birthday girl such as who are all these wonderful ladies? How do you know each one? Which lead to even more fun-filled conversation and travels down memory lane...& Lisa actually listened to the responses and seemed to enjoy the talk! We also celebrated each other's master pieces as Lisa reminded us to walk around and check out each other's artwork to get ideas and inspiration. All this while we painted & sipped. At the end of the session, we took fun group photos and celebrated with cake (& wine!) We stayed longer than we were supposed to and Lisa was clearly okay with it as we had a lot to clean up. We left with wonderful memories in our hearts, smiles on our faces and beautiful paintings in our hands (No joke... one of us threw our painting away after attending a DIFFERENT paint night at a local restaurant... it was so bad... ) We also left saying "We will be back!" This was the best paint night experience ever! And Lisa is the nicest, most down to earth, genuine business owners we have ever met! We will be happy to support her establishment in anyway that we can! read more

Wine and Design is open for business again! I painted there tonight and had my usual fabulous time! Lisa, the owner and instructor, makes every subject great fun to paint. She's fun, kind, friendly, encouraging, helpful, a great artist and not to worry - she has equipped her wonderful studio with all the COVID19 necessities - masks are worn, there's hand sanitizer, each person is spaced apart, and given their own brushes, etc. She has an abundant selection of quality wines, beers, ciders, etc if you feel inclined to imbibe whilst you paint. Lisa is so much fun and a fantastic artist who enables anyone to paint any subject. Tonight guests were celebrating a birthday and we all had a great time, drinking, eating cupcakes, talking, laughing, listening to music, meeting new people and best of all, painting a beautiful vase of multi-colored flowers. You can bring your own food to eat as well. I'm not sure if they have wine before the start of the class, but I did not see any served or available for the time I was there (1 star off for this). Nevertheless, the instructors are very clear and give plenty of direction.
