My colleagues and I decided to try out a sip and paint class as a team activity. We already had drinks and dinner so we actually just painted. It was my first time trying an activity like this and I had so much fun! Highly recommend!

Due to Covid-19, management decided to substitute our holiday party with a virtual paint party! There were ~30 people who attended through Teams and everyone (including kids) had so much fun. Some of us had technical issues in the beginning but it all worked out. Our instructor was interactive and provided great instruction throughout our 2 hour party. They had a courier drop off my paint supplies to my house an hour before our paint party started. Talk about close call, I'm soooooo glad I didn't miss it. Not to mention, the man who dropped off my supplies was friendly! The painting kit included 6 different kinds of paints, tissue, apron, large canvas, and three different paint brushes. We even got to keep the paint brushes in the end lol - yay! Thank you Wine and Design!

I highly highly recommend !!!!! So I've partook in two wine & design event . One DIY and one virtual .. The virtual event consisted of the canvas and art kit being delivered to my home and the actual class being hosted over zoom. The instructor was extremely patient and detailed oriented... I actually enjoyed it more than in person classes I've taken (at other studios in the past). She described how to create/ mix colors and provided alternative art techniques l. The paint kits consisted of plates cup smock plastic to protect your painting space and the necessary color to execute your picture. DIY- i was able to communicate with Pina she granted me access to their online portfolio. I was able to chose two designs. Within 24 hours the canvas were ready for pick up. ** both canvas included outlines of the image** I found the outlines extremely helpful because I am not artistic at all. In addition to the canvas with outlines I purchased the necessary paint colors. I was able to grab extra paint colors and brushes from the dollar tree. I opted for a diy home wine & paint event for Christmas instead of exchanging gifts with family. My family enjoyed and this was the only time they stfu at a family event. It made an excellent family activity appropriate for all ages. And super affordable!! ($10 per person) They have an amazing art catalog to chose from. I highly recommend!!!

I came to do this randomly on a Wednesday night out of the blue and it literally was one of the funnest things I've don't in a while. Alana and Tina are super nice and very helpful with helping you paint the picture the group is going to paint. It was definitely fun and the wine is definitely a plus!

With shelter in place in full effect, this was the best zoom meeting. Everyone absolutely enjoyed themselves and those who weren't able to attend were sad to have missed it. Great instruction. Great service with getting us our supplies. Easy to work with Tina with finding our design, date and setup for our private event. I'm looking forward to doing this again. I'd prefer at the studio, however this may be the new norm. A norm and the Tina and her team at Wine & Design figured out. Thank you!

I came here for my birthday On November 3rd! It was my first time and I've been wanting to do this for a long time. My friends and I were nervous since were not painters, but Steve who was our instructor encouraged us to add our own personality to our painting and make it our own. Steve is such a great help even when I needed more paint on my plate, he was so attentive to all of us. We had wine there, we brought our own snacks and they provided us with plates. Best part is that their plates come with a placement to hold your wine!! This place is amazing and I will definitely be back for their drop in classes for theme nights!

Fast forward many, many years later I seem to have lost that creative side (other than cooking!) and haven't done much arts and crafts so this was a nice reprieve from the usual. My friend picked a day we were painting Hocus Pocus since it was close to Halloween...I never watched the movie but game to take a class as I haven't done a "paint-and-sip" since my first time in Danville. The concept is having wine and cheese while the instructor guides you thru each step of your painting. After 2 hours of painting, laughs and seeing everyone else's "interpretation" on the subject, you have an end product to take home. A fun experience for all creative levels even if you think you don't have a creative side. The whole point is to go with the flow and have fun. ...and it's not the wine talking. Other classes offered: fused glass, painted charcuterie boards, light saber class (yeah hmmm!), painted wine glass and kids summer camps. Highly recommend for a date night, private event, team building or something different to experience!

I didn't think I would be able to make such a lovely painting by the end of our session. I survived! My painting was fun to create. I even enjoyed looking at all the other students masterpieces. We were all painting the same thing but there was not one that was alike. I thought everyone did a great job painting too. The event was held at an Italian restaurant that serves drinks and food. My only bit of advise is, I wish Yaymaker sold drink coupons on their site or as addedium fee on Groupon. I would had loved to save some money on wine too. Overall, very fun. I look forward to my next Yaymaker event with my BFF.

I had been wanting to go to a paint-and-sip event for a long time; it was one of the activities I…read morepictured adults frequently doing when I was a teenager. I finally got to try this out last summer, and first I'll just say, it was a little pricier than I expected it to be. There's usually a Groupon for this event, and even with that you're paying around $30/person, so I suggest checking that out before buying your ticket. It doesn't come with any drinks, so you'll have to pay additional prices for those. Paint Nite works by you selecting the night you want to attend the event on their website. They have multiple Bay Area cities, with an almost endless list of locations in each where the events will take place. They have multiple events per week, and each night is a different location and example painting. If you bought a Groupon, you'll enter it during the payment stage. All pretty self-explanatory. Along with being more expensive than I imagined, it's also much less glamorous. When I was younger, I thought these nights would be held at a studio or someone's home, with the wine being supplied (and not being super cheap). I really wasn't a fan of the Grill 'Em Restaurant we went to, because it's the quality of Chili's or Applebee's. I knew there wouldn't be decent wine at a decent price, so I ordered two cocktails instead. Unfortunately those were so sweet, they made me feel ill afterward. The food wasn't too good either...but that's a review for their business, not this one. I brought an old friend with me when I went, and he decided to do his own thing and painted something from Twin Peaks. The instructor was funny and knew how to explain painting to first-time painters who were pretty tipsy. Our class was mostly a large group of women who were celebrating one of their birthdays, and they were mostly all drunk and very loud. I probably wouldn't pay this much to paint again, but I certainly wouldn't choose the location we had again. It's fun to do once, though.
