My husband and I have noticed considerable improvements in the variety of beers that they carry. Also on Fridays, they usually have tastings for featured brands/beers from 3-5pm! They used to have a sale shelf too, but I haven't noticed that the last few times I've been by - but I hope they continue to rotate that sale shelf. The woman stocking the Chairman's Select section has actually tasted a number of the wines in the section and could answer my questions. I did a double-check. Was I in Media, or in DE or NJ? A bright, cheery, well-stocked store with a very good selection. Yes, it's still a PA State Store, not Moore Brothers or Wine Works, but I will definitely be back when I don't have time to drive to DE! Bring it on!!

A couple times a year (with advanced notice) Javies has CADs, wherein booze is offered to help you enjoy the games held there (beer pong/flip cup style festivities). As an added bonus, in the short time leading up to the party, every time you buy beer you get a raffle ticket for a chance to win some of that cool promotional swag the brewers unload on them, then the day of, the drawings are held until there is no gear left. There is a cold wall fridge in the back with tons of cases and one in the front in case you need just one.
