We selected three stunning quartzite slabs, and my wife returned to ProGranite Surfaces LLC with the paperwork to discuss our choice and get a quote. Unfortunately, our experience there was disappointing. The customer service representative not only overpriced the stone--quoting us an astonishing $80,000 including installation--but also treated my wife in a manner that was far from professional or courteous. He made assumptions without proper communication and did not demonstrate the level of respect we expected. While I don't blame the company as a whole, it's clear that individual actions can deeply impact a business's reputation. I hope the management pays attention to who represents their company on the front lines. Feeling discouraged, my wife turned to Google and found Custom Touch Granite LLC. The allure of soapstone is the patina and lived in quality of the stone. There's a reason Martha Stewart has it for her studio kitchen--it's the perfect material for a kitchen that you actually use and work in. Whatever issues we had were rectified (and what remodel doesn't have issue). We have kept some remnants of our stone and plan to use Homchick again for our next project.

Overall, Progranite delivered on all of our expectations while ensuring the job was completed on-time, on-budget, and to our satisfaction. Everyone we worked and interacted with at Progranite were professional and repeatedly demonstrated their knowledge and experience to ensure the project would be completed successfully. Prior to signing the contract with Progranite we read their reviews, toured their shop, and spoke at length with Andrew about the process and things to consider about the selection and installation of the countertop material. Andrew was patient and answered each and every question we thought of, and even some he raised for us, helping to ensure we were comfortable choosing Progranite to do the work. One aspect of the project that we were concerned about was the demolition work of the project given the state of our existing countertops, but we shouldn't have been - the demolition crew was great and ensured that their work was done properly and with minimal mess - they took care while doing the work, and ensured that they left the rooms as they found them when they were done for the day. Communication with Progranite was great during the process and they provided renderings to show how the slabs would be cut and laid out, further answering questions as we tried to visualize how the work would look when completed. When it came time to install the quartzite countertop material, we couldn't have been in better hands with Vinny, the head installer on site. He was meticulous and took great care to ensure that the countertops were installed to both his satisfaction and to ours, frequently double-checking with us as to our preferences for fit and finish, and leveraging his experience and attention to detail to offer us his suggestions. Our interaction made it clear he had as much of a vested interest in the finished work as we did. I will also add that the schedule for the project was clearly explained and was accurately adhered to, ensuring that we were able to schedule other remodel work during their process and not encounter any issues or delays. The finished results are amazing and we're very pleased with the look of the newly installed countertops. Without hesitation we would recommend Progranite Solutions to others and look forward to working with them again on a future project.
