I had an interior leak above a window in my townhouse. Dennis came out quickly and assessed the situation. He had a good idea of the problem, but was clear that there was no guarantee as leaks can be really tricky. Dennis was very professional and knowledgable - actually informing me of several aspects of my siding of which I was unaware. He also pointed out a few things that my painters had done wrong - I had no idea! Dennis addressed the leak as well as another window that was showing signs of water intrusion. Unfortunately, the work didn't affect the leak. Dennis worked with me to assess next steps. The logical next step was to start tearing off siding, looking for the leak. Before we got there, Dennis tried cutting an area along the belly band where incorrect painting could be sealing water in. It was a guess and he did it for free as he felt bad the previous work didn't fix the leak. Thank goodness! The extra task did fix the leak and I didn't have to start ripping off siding!! I was very impressed with Dennis' knowledge and his and his team's execution on the job. His price was reasonable and he stood by what he said he would do. Dennis installed windows, indoor window trims, James Hardie's pre-painted fiber cement sidings for the entire house. He did an excellent job of installing siding, windows and indoor window trims at my home. He even helped me with measuring and ordering several windows and a sliding door at Lowe's even if he didn't have to. He communicates very well, and he is super reliable. I signed the contract in June 2021, and the work was performed in September due to the window delivery delay. Over the three months, I communicated with Dennis many times (before the project start and during the project), and he was very good at updating me with anything I should be aware. He started the project when he said he would, and he finished it within the time-frame he promised. He also cleaned up the worksite daily. Before hiring Dennis, I received 7 estimates. It was very easy and clear to decide who I wanted to work with. Out of 7 contractors, Dennis was the only person who was transparent and straight-forward with his pricing. In addition, Dennis actually does the work (not sub-contract) and does good work. A lot of companies use sub-contractors who might or might not do a good job. Dennis and his partner used to be employees of a large corporation where he gained a decade of experience installing sidings and windows. I was told by Dennis that he has been working non-stop since he started his own business about a year ago, and I can see why. His business took care of the entire job, from digging the well to concrete cutting to window installation and putting in a well casing and drain. I recently worked with Dennis to replace 20 windows in our craftsman home and had a great experience. He gave a competitive quote, was easy to communicate with, punctual, respectful, and delivered the quality work on time in the end. He accommodated my asks when he wrote a contract and everything looked good. It took a while between when I signed the contract and when the windows were delivered, and he was always reachable for questions and quick to respond. When the windows were finally delivered, he was able to start the work quickly and finished it on time (4 days). He and his crew paid attention to details and I could tell that they had good craftsmanship. He brought helpers who have a lot of experience in window works for both measurement and installation. One minor complaint was that they were not prepared to cover their shoes inside our house or cover the interior to protect our belongings from the dust on the first day of work. I asked Dennis if he could put more cover, and he brought shoe covers and plastics. I still needed to put tapes to secure the plastic covers, but this is a minor point given the quality of work they delivered and the competitive quote, and he and his crew were very accommodating. They also constantly cleaned the site throughout their work. I am very happy that I chose to work with Dennis and will work with him again to replace our patio door. My partner and I recently purchased our first home, and we were so concerned to learn that we had some wood rot around one of the windows. We called a few folks to come take a look and give us an estimate, and immediately knew that Dennis was our guy. He was able to come down to our place quickly and arrived on time. When he looked at the issue, he was very clearly not overwhelmed or surprised by what he saw - he not only told us what we needed to do to fix it, but to try to prevent it from happening again. As soon as we moved in, we scheduled Dennis to come out and do the work, and once again he was on time. The work ended up taking just as long as he said it would, and costing slightly less than he initially said.
