Had an opportunity to visit the store's new location at 221 Main Street. The store is 3X larger and very attractive. This boutique wine store has a very nice, curated selection with reasonable prices and helpful staff. I'm in the trade and was quite impressed with the inventory. A good selection of cheeses as well. Ever wander the liquor store trying to figure out what wine to buy? You can go by a friend's recommendation or by the little blurbs on the back of the bottle. Or even by some card that says Wine Spectator rated the 2002 91 points only to find the shelf stocked with bottles of 2004. As Reagan once said: "Trust, but verify". Nothing beats tasting wine first hand. So this is why I recommend WineNot. Not because of their selection (it's a small shop after all), but because they have a free tasting every Wednesday. The wines vary by whoever is pouring that week. Sometimes it's five wines i could care less about, but every once in a while there's something worth raising an eyebrow over and asking for a second pour. We visited WineNot for a private wine tasting to start off a bachelorette party and I cannot say enough about how amazing of a time we had. You could tell that Svetlana took the time to hand pick out each wine and she told us a great story about each wine. Each had a connection back to "love" or a "first kiss". She made it special and really tied everything to the reason we were there. Everyone raved about what a great time they had and it was a wonderful way to start the night! My favorite spot for a Saturday afternoon! They have free wine and beer tastings from 1-4 and it is a great way to learn about different varietals. They usually have around 8-10 different wines and 1-3 different beers. The staff is extremely knowledgeable easy to talk with, even if your wine experience is lacking. This is a great little shop that has offers not only great wines, but some gifty things if you need to bring something for the host/hostess. There is a small selection of cheeses and I was able to pick up two loaves of fabulous bread (pecan & cranberry and pumpkin seed something, too good). What a true gem of a local business! I just had my first experience here today and it was wonderful. The knowledgeable and friendly owner was hosting a wine tasting (which they do frequently, so sign up for the newsletter) and had an array of white, red and rosé varieties for tasting selection. I was able to choose a couple of bottles for gifts from the tasting experience! The accompanying cheeses and charcuterie from their own in-house cheese case were perfect pairings and festive for St. Patrick's Day. I had originally come in, looking for a red variety to bring to a dinner party later this evening. The owner was able to use her expertise and knowledge of her products to help narrow down the bottle I chose! This shop is also an excellent choice for those looking for olive oils, balsamic vinegars, new cheeses to try and other gifts! read more

Now this privately owned, cleverly named, little shop is quite nice. i picked up a bottle wine there and spoke to the owner and she really knew her stuff and was definitely passionate about the selection she had. Unfortunately they don't have too much variety but what it lacks in selection they make it up with the wines they have. This is a fabulous wine shop. Wonderful selection of incredible wines for every budget. You won't find these in the state liquor store. Svetlana, the shop owner is a trained sommelier and is extremely knowledgeable and adept at selecting wines. Even if you are not sure what you like, she has this amazing way of asking just the right questions to insure you get the perfect wine. In addition to the wines she also stocks several wonderful cheeses and gourmet items. I can tell you from personal experience, the cheeses are wonderful and make the grocery store versions (if they even have something similar) pale in comparison. A great small, indy wine store in downtown Nashua.The owner, Svetlana, is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. A medium size wine selection is found here, but the quality makes up for the lack of size. The owner is very hands on in picking great names from different regions of the world and this is the only place in the state you will find some of them. They also offer wine tastings on Wednesday nights. It's a great place and location with an awesome staff and decent prices. A definite need to stop place for any wine fan. read more

We originally went for the tasting on a Saturday afternoon, it was a very nice experience. The host Edward was very knowledgeable and had a pleasant manner. Stopped by initially intrigued by clever name, have been coming back for friendly service and unique selection. Owner Svetlana knows a good deal of advance info about wines and will help you to pick the right one for the occasion and your budget. Wines offered for sale are normally not available in NH Wine and Liquor stores. The store has truly wine boutique feel, or even wine club atmosphere on Wednesday, when Svetlana conducts complementary wine tastings. You can hear more about each specific wine from distributors and chit-chat with regulars to your hearts content. Great shop and very knowledgeable and personable owner. We recently attended a Pinot Noir tasting there and learned a lot and had a great time. Sventlana obviously loves what she does and is very approachable. This is ma-n-pa boutique-style wine shop at its best. Of course that its selection size can't be compared w/ other big boxes. But the fact that they run regular (and free) wine tastings plus the fact that the team is so passionate about wines make up for its small selection size. Besides, when it comes to wines, quality always trumps quantity as I'm one especially prone to 'analysis paralysis'. Price wise, if you're a member, you get 10% off all wines except the featured wines during tastings which are already discounted. A small price to pay to support local business. This wine shop is owned by an absolutely incredible Wine Educator. I have taken a class there and was so happy about how much I learned. Svetlana has a very non-intimidating approach. You can go in knowing nothing about wine and not feel like you have to pretend when you walk in. (At the same time, if you have a deep understanding and appreciation for wine, you will also be satisfied with her shop and classes as well. She has the ability to reach a wide audience, as demonstrated in the class I took and the wide level of expertise there. I'm pretty sure she has a PhD in grapes! - I'm not kidding). I walked out of her class with the knowledge and skill to be able to enjoy wine at a higher level. I was completely satisfied with the class. For anyone interested in wine, looking to strengthen their knowledge of wine, or even if wine is your passion - I highly recommend taking a class there! As well, her selection may be small, but it seems to be impeccable and with many reasonably priced choices. Her insight and assistance is a big plus as well. read more
