Lemon pepper wing with vegan spicy ranch. Yum!
Jaimi G.

ABSOLUTELY. Yes Yes Yes. I had seen this food truck at the Vegan Exchange Market a few times and added them to my list to try out. The wings looked so crunchy, so I gave them a try. They have vegan & non-vegan options. I tried the vegan buffalo & vegan lemon pepper with the spicy vegan ranch and WOW! It was sooo good! I like how crunchy the lemon pepper was and the flavor was phenomenal and juicy! There was even some sauce at the bottom of the plate, so aI sopped that up too. I got 6 wings. 3 buffalo, 3 lemon pepper. I would definitely go back and prob get more next time! The best part of it all was the customer service. Sometimes, food trucks/vendors are not the most positive and can be rude unexpectedly & unprovoked. The young woman running the truck was kind & had a beautiful spirit and made everything a really positive experience. 10/10 I'll be back!

Going back for thirds! I tried this place a few months ago and went back for seconds that day. Today I made the trip to Vegan Exchange NoHo and went for thirds. The customer service is so great on top of the delicious food. 10/10 recommend!! I mean look at that sauce!!

This food truck serves wings with a variety of flavors. I ordered the 6 piece combo, comes with fries and soda. Wings (2.5/5) -- Wings are decent. I wish they were crunchier. I asked for them to have it well done but they said they already fry it that way, but I definitely like mine extra well done. Got the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. Lemon pepper was good, the garlic parmesan is a wet wing that's coated with the garlic sauce that was ok. Fries (3.5/5) -- French fries are like mcdonald's fries. They were good; nothing above average. I do appreciate the amount of fries they gave for the meal, good amount! It was well fried, and not soggy. Coated with a good amount of salt. Sauces (1/5) -- Got the ranch and buffalo sauce on the side. I thought at least a ranch would come with the meal but it doesn't. The ranch was a little too thick for me. I like my ranch creamier and smoother. They were nice, quick and the wings are decent.

This place is ridiculous. Smallest wings on the planet *hand for comparison*. Wings were dry, as I assumed it would be. Flavor was decent though.

Wing Lord - VEGAN is really good. The use of cauliflower is definitely unique as many of the other vegan chicken alternatives all use similar ingredients ie: soy, wheat, etc.. The wings are large, crispy and satisfying. I especially liked the lemon pepper flavor. The owner is super friendly. Definitely worth checking out at vegan exchange.

Great selection of flavors. The wings weren't too big and the fries that came with my combo very crispy.

Once upon a time food trucks drove around serving mediocre food with B ratings…read more I remember working at a company and whenever we saw the food truck coming, we'd call it the "roach truck." Today, food trucks serve gourmet, unique and awesome food. Thank you Get Toasted for making us believe in the power of food trucks!

Today I had some time to kill, and decided to try to catch the Glowfish food truck (which rarely…read moreseems to come downtown) at CNN (Sunset & Cole in Hollywood.) I didn't get there until 1:50, and just as I park and start walking toward the truck, it pulls out and I watch my planned pancake disappear. But hey, when life hands me lemons, most of the time I can make lemonade. Instead of heading back to the car, I decide to see what other food trucks are there (there's still a half dozen left.) I've had too many mediocre food truck meals, so now I usually only hit those that score a 4-5 on the Yelp-o-meter. So nothing catches my eye until I see "Get Toasted." It's got a line bigger than the others, but I'm not pure sheep, so I Yelp it and it scores solidly. I get in line, study the menu, and am pleasantly surprised by the prices. I decide to go for the three salbutes (mini tostada-like things) and drink special, and get the day's special salbute on the side. The staff on the truck were super-friendly and polite. They earned one star for great service before I even got the food. WHAT I HAD: Trio of salbutes (I chose carnitas, short rib and pork belly) Small peach vanilla iced tea Extra salbute (spicy crab, their daily special) MOST FAVORITE TO LEAST FAVORITE: (but to be honest, I'd eat all of them again except maybe the short rib) Carnitas - DE-FREAKIN-LICIOUS. Moist and juicy and lots of flavor. Pickled onions and cilantro were perfect complement. Pork Belly - Crispy and fatty and lots of flavor. Spicy Crab - yummy -- and loads of crab -- but not really spicy. Would have been a clear fav for me if the flavor was punched up just a little more. Either more spice or a citrus kick would've made this my #1 instead of my #3. Short Rib - a tiny bit dry and not quite enough flavor. The only other two notes I'd give: 1) Take some of the stems off the cilantro before chopping it. I love cilantro, but the stems can get bitter when there's a lot of them. I ended up fishing some of them out and enjoyed it a lot more. 2) The peach vanilla iced tea (which was a sweetened black tea, I believe) was really good, but too sweet for my taste. It was in the ballpark of most bottled commercial iced teas (Snapple, Nestea) which is a little sweeter than I like. But that's me. Others no doubt will love it as it is. FINAL VERDICT: I thought it was an excellent (and a very good value) meal for $10 flat. I would definitely go again. A few tweaks and I'd give it 5 stars.

First review of 2021 will be for local small business ML EATS!…read more I've gone to their soft opening at Ktown-Pocha on 8th and Harvard and have been going regularly since then. Two very talented and humble chefs run the truck and they are not afraid of suggestions or recommendations! I'll point out my favorites from their menu and some from their catering menu (yes, I ordered catering from them for Christmas) Ceviche- Seriously so good!! When I first tried it at their soft opening it was very spicy, I love spicy but I pointed it out through their DM and they kindly took my suggestion of maybe making less spicy for others that can't really handle the heat Smash Burger - SOLID comes with fries or tots depending. Eggplant Rollantini- OMG! I'm so glad I decided to try this because this is my favorite!!! It comes with spaghetti on the bottom and just all the flavors in this dish is just so satisfying! Borracha tacos - VALUE! 3 tacos smothered in meat and sauce... CCC Churo Chapsal YUM! There's always room for dessert! I had their Lomos but it seems like every review talks about their lomo so I'll skip and move on to some of the catering dishes I had. For Christmas catering we had the Lomo, Mediterranean Chicken, Spaghetti Meatballs and chocolate bread pudding The Mediterranean Chicken is absolutely delicious! The chicken breasts were so soft and tender, I had to read the menu again to make sure it was chicken breasts! I would totally order a whole catering portion for myself next time. Their guava lemonade makes me very happy haha Oh! They have something called the FUEGO SAUCE -- It is not for the weak.. it will set your mouth on fire but it is SSOOO good. Every time I go I ask for a tub .... HAHA I put that S** on errthang!!! One of the best local businesses! They are on Grubhub too so you can get it delivered to you. A must try in Koreatown --or ... wherever they decide to pull up HAHA

I honestly eat from here at least 3 times a week and I seriously still crave it! I've tried a lot of their menu but my two FAVORITE items are the 'Smash Burger' and 'Borracha tacos'. -smash burger : 5/5 so freaking good! Also comes with fries which are perfectly cooked. The burger is a great portion as well and pro tip- add avocado and bacon. SO GOOD!! -borracha tacos: 5/5!!!! This dish I LITERALLY crave every week!!! Its a shredded beef taco but the way that they add the flavoring, juices, and sauces has me coming back!! P.s. ask for the el fuego sauce which is SOO spicy but I LOVE!!! I slather my tacos in it and cannot get enough! - also they offer special catering menus. I was able to try it couple times and I highly recommend for your next event!

Crispy fries, savory gravy, melt-in-your-mouth smoked brisket, and gooey cheese curds make for the perfect combination. The portion size is generous, and the flavors are rich and comforting. The line was long but the prospect of gooey goodness was worth it. After placing my $29 order for a bottle of water and the beef brisket poutine, it didn't look amazing but looks can be deceiving. Sadly, the looks represented properly the dish. I don't know what was going on, but every element was terrible. The beef brisket was dry, the gravy didn't have flavor and was so thin that the minimal portion all seeped to the bottom of the dish. Literally 5 cheese curds in the poutine and they were not gooey. None of the dish was. It was all so dry and had no flavor. The fries weren't good either, not crispy at all and I'm thinking what the heck!? If you're going to have a poutine focused truck, how is the gravy watery and not delicious?! How are the fries not bomb!? What am I missing here?! Did I just go on an off day!?
