At the suggestion of our server, Beto, we added an extra quarter pound of sliced brisket. Beto really knows what he's doing... and because of him it was a perfectly satisfying amount of food for the three of us. He definitely went above and beyond. My plate came out dirty with a chip on the dish-ware. The bbq bottles were sticky and congealed. Just think, if this the cleanliness of the dining room, imagine what the kitchen looks like. I have worked in the restaurant business before and this is just intolerable. Two stars for a good atmosphere (live music). But that's it. If you want great bbq, try Copper Hill BBQ. It's doesn't have the atmosphere of Smoke House but you get great BBQ and a clean environment.

My son's favorite meat is the pulled pork, following by the tri-tip. My husband likes the ribs and chicken. I thought the hot links were pretty good but may be a bit too spicy for my boys. The BBQ sauces are very good and not overly sweet. They even have the beyond burger/vegetarian/vegan options. The Wednesday worker plate had an assortment of meats and a chunk of cornbread, which I thought was a good way to try some of their various offerings. The barbecue chicken consisted of a leg and a wing piece, which i thought was overall fine. The shredded pork was well seasoned and moist, and the hot link pieces were very flavorful. The beef adobo was my favorite as it had a very deep and rich coconut flavor that complimented the meat. The pork ribs were very tender and juicy and had a good meaty pork flavor. The brisket was also good too. Both these meats reheated well later in the day and was still tasty! The cornbread was also exceptional and eating it, I felt it was more like a dessert but also worked well between bites. The cornbread was moist more cakey, and had a very deep sweet coconut flavor.
