Had a great experience at Fatboys BBQ. You can tell it's a family run business that takes pride in what they do. The brisket sandwich was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The loaded brisket fries were incredible and loaded with plenty of delicious brisket (ask for brisket). Great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I don't know what constitutes as barbecue for fat boys barbecue. I lived in Oklahoma and Texas for 15 years I know barbecue is smoked but this pulled pork was oven cooked in sugar water and just sweet no flavor at all. I ordered pulled pork and it came drizzled in sugar water and the mac & cheese had so much garlic it was just overloaded with garlic. The pulled pork was dry I threw it out only thing edible was the pre packaged kings hawaiian roll that came with the meal WORST BBQ EVER read more

Idk how they have 5 stars and yet they are open till 2 am. It seems as though they are deleting all bad reviews. You guys should reevaluate your yelp page as well as instagram and facebook. Amazing! We had pulled pork and brisket sandwiches with loaded fries. Simple menu with fire ingredients! They move around so check their Instagram or call them. Quality! If your looking for good fresh BBQ you have to try fatboys BBQ!!! I was craving some BBQ ribs near me since I live in South Gate there's not too many BBQ spots around me, so I decided to go on yelp and look something up and I came across fatboys BBQ and omg I was not disappointed. Once I got there I saw they had a variety of items not only BBQ ribs and I decided to order a little of everything since everything looked so good. In my experience I had the rib sandwich, loaded fries, rib plate and pork belly bites,everything was delicious and the meats were so tender and flavorful. I will definitely be going back since they have other items I'm interested on trying out. As far as customer service the employees were very friendly and greeted me with a smile since I mention it was my first time trying their food they gave me a free pink lemonade, and let me tell you very good lemonade!!!! it's a must try specially in this hot weather. The brisket sandwich with the crispy onions is so addicting you just can't wait to go back again. Their pork belly bites have a wonderful combination of sweet and smokey flavor! We are a Food Truck In L.A. and there are a few things you’ll easily find out in any neighborhood: Hotdogs, Burgers, and Tacos. The supply of these types of food are simply never ending. My Business “Fat Boys BBQ” started because I wanted to do something different. Besides making everything we sell, with the exception of the bread, I try to be as hands on as possible throughout the entire experience which is why my team consists of only close friends and family. A few of our customers favorites start with our Pull Pork Sandwiches, made with hand buttered tender bread and Pull Pork that is smoked for 23hours. Additionally, it has hand slice and seasoned onion rings and coleslaw with our signature and personally homemade BBQ sauce. Our brisket, similar to our Pull Pork, is smoked for 23hours. Lastly, our Loaded Waffle Fries contain cheese sauce, chives, Pull Pork, and our BBQ sauce. Overall, all this Smoked BBQ will have you coming back for more.

A small miss in an otherwise outstanding meal, and not enough to take anything away from the overall experience. The atmosphere was electric -- lively and loud in the best way, packed with energy and wall-to-wall televisions. We happened to go during the FIFA World Cup Final and the place was absolutely hopping. Our waiter was extraordinarily attentive and friendly, and the food came out quickly and piping hot despite how busy it was. Bludso's is the real deal. If you're serious about BBQ in LA, this is your spot. Get the brisket, get the ribs, and don't skip the mac and cheese.

My plate came out dirty with a chip on the dish-ware. The bbq bottles were sticky and congealed. Just think, if this the cleanliness of the dining room, imagine what the kitchen looks like. I have worked in the restaurant business before and this is just intolerable. Two stars for a good atmosphere (live music). But that's it. If you want great bbq, try Copper Hill BBQ. It's doesn't have the atmosphere of Smoke House but you get great BBQ and a clean environment.

The dining room was pretty empty but I was eyeballing the patio section (cuz I WILL be coming back)! I didn't realize it was counter ordering, (which sometimes gives me a sense of pressure cuz I like to take my time reviewing every item on the menu first), but luckily there were folks in front of us and nobody behind us (so I had a little time). I ordered the brisket grilled cheese and waffle fries, while my husband had the Nashville hot chicken fries. They had a BOGO deal on beer (he approved of the Mexican Lager) and I had the strawberry lemonade. Everything was amazing and the workers were really nice. We'll be back!!

The people are lovely and gave us so much food and the brisket tasted like how my mother makes it to die for. The ribs were really good really filling too of your super hungry get the ribs !!!! And the burnt ends phenomenal!!!! That smoky sweet flavor was everything I like in a burnt end. He went back with the incorrect plate and explains the order mix up then gives them the plate, no one asked if he touched the food, they took the plate opened it and took the food out and put it in a new container. JUST LIKE THAT!! WTF??? UNHEARD OF IN THIS POST COVID WORLD!! The replacement of the correct beef rib plate was flavorless, tasteless, and both meals were tough meat...No Bueno!! For the price I expected tender tastefulness which I have received before this visit. Consistent food quality and better customer service would be expected for the price. 2 out of 10, I would not recommend but no one really cares I feel like money has been wasted not even an apology for the initial mix up, but what did I expect when they recycle open food !!!
