Holy cow where do I Begin went in for a simple state inspection the man doing the inspection, took over 20 minutes to look over my car, including putting a mirror underneath my car. I don't know if he was looking for bombs or what. Then come to find out, I didn't pass my inspection due to ball tires. I asked the man to walk out and show me the baldness on my tires, because all tires are brand new. He refused to go out and look at tires. What a pos. Went down to Mustang lube got the same inspection. Took 10 minutes if that and passed with flying colors. I definitely do not recommend this location to anybody for anything. read more

so when I first went to this place it was an okay converstation. I originally went here for an oil change and it was around 1:30 or 2in the afternoon which means they were still open for another 4 hours till they closed. so when I showed up it was with my dad but tried talking first and instead of being respectfuly like a man on man conversatio, I was instead treated like a child. I will say my height isn't very tall but I do have tattoo pretty shown everywhere and told him it was my car as well but under my dads name. he said "why don't we wait for your dad then" but as if he was trying to help a child find his dad. I was not happy with it. they then proceeded to tell me that they wouldn't take anymore oil changes (still open for another 4 hours). now they did have some cars ahead of us but I didn't think it would take all of them anymore than 4 hours. I brushed off the whole situation and decided to try and apply for a job because I saw there weren't many people and they had a hiring position with no experience required. the job said the typically respond with a day. never responded. I then proceeded to call the next morning and ask what the status was and was told "i usually get to them around the evening". so I then gave it a couple more days (which was now 4 days. now) and called again about it and asked and was told he hasn't gotten around to them and I would at least get an email. it's now been 3 weeks and have not received anything. in my application I was able to work everyday except Sundays (religion reasons) and I have no experience and thought it would be a great opportunity for me to start off as a new skill to learn but apparently I might've need every single day available and some kind of experience even tho it said otherwise. overall disappointed read more

Wow, this place is getting some really shitty reviews. And I can vouch for what I have read. The reviewers are saying that the guy is arrogant. Check. He told me it would be an hour and 15 minutes, and when I said, I would go over to the Subway shop and get a sandwich while I waited, he said I had to wait there on site. If I leave, I lose my place in line. So I took my car and went looking for another place. I don't do business with assholes. read more

inspector was not very friendly and failed my inspection erroneously for driver and passenger windows being to dark when it came from the dealers that way...was not very helpful with how to solve it other than I have to remove the tint from all the windows. Good service on the oil change. After waiting another hour/plus for the inspection we were told that we failed the inspection due to front windshield tint. This location, this technician, has passed my 2020 AT4 for the past two years. Tint was added during the new vehicle delivery process. This location & personnel has really fallen apart recently. We will never use their services for anything in the future. Trust me, there are better options here in Marble Falls for Inspection/oil changes/and certainly Car Washes ( Whitewater). read more

Stopped in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would be an hour and a half. Offered to just leave my vehicle but was I formed that they don't do dropouts. Took it down the road to Johnson Sewell. Was able to leave it and it only took about an hour. read more

I would NOT recommend this place for an inspection. For one, the minimum wait is usually an hour. Second, when I had gone to get my inspection done the guy had not passed me over my damn seat belt. He said it was fraying, I had never in my life have ever heard of not passing inspection over a seat belt. My seat belt wasn't even fraying bad, it was still good!! I needed to replace my whole seat, after doing that I took my business to another shop where I got my inspection done within 10 minutes! I have also had many people tell me that they've been failed over other ridiculous things. Don't go to Wing Man for inspections. read more

Workmanship is very good. They require you wear a mask in your car even if windows are up. I pulled my mask down just under my nose because of heat and was instructed to pull it up over my nose while sitting in my car. read more

These guys are great. I drive a diesel a lot of miles and come here every time to get oil changed. I also have them do the fuel filters and air filters every other oil change ( I drive in very dusty environments). They are always professional and during the summer months they have these hoses coming from two a/c units in the Bay Area that blow cool air while you wait in your car for the service to be done! My experience at Wingmans was awesome!! The customer service I revived was so unreal.(IN A GOOD WAY) They treated me like a queen the second I pulled up!! I needed an oil change and an inspection. They told me to pull up and said I could stay in the car. They had me turn off my car and put an ac unit in my car so I had ac while getting my oil changed. They had me fill out one form and that was it!! They cleaned my windows, tops off my fluids, checked my tires,changed my oil and inspected my car. They even checked on me a couple times to make sure I was comfortable. I am overall so pleased with my experience here. Great customer service is hard to come by these days so when I get it I am very appreciative!! Way to go Wingmans!!! I will be back!!!:) read more

They use cheap oil filters. Go to NAPA and ask them to show you the filter for your vehicle. Compare it to the filter Wingman uses. If you change your oil every three months or you trade your car/truck in every three years it probably won't affect you. read more

This place was seriously a million times easier than going to jiffy lube or the dealership in austin. They got me in and out of there without hassle and I even was able to run a couple errands since walmart, verizon, and specs are all walking distance. Brandon, the manager, helped me out and he was super quick and attentive. To make the experience even better, they give you a free basic car wash or $10 off a premium car wash at their location across the street. (I happened to need a detail job so that helped out). I I have gone to Wingman for years for oil changes and inspections. Given the Covid stuff, I called yesterday to see if I needed a reservation to get my 2016 Harley Ultra inspected. They said no that it was "first come-first served" and there may be a wait. I was ok with that. I went today and was told there would be an hour wait. I said "no problem , I'll lock my bike and go next door for a quick lunch and to get in out of the heat and be back way before an hour." I was told that I had to stay with my bike and could not come into the air-conditioner waiting room because of Covid. I was not happy and asked who else did inspections and they referred me to the Ford dealership. I went there and was initially told there was a 45 min wait, but when they realized I just needed an inspection, they said we will "go ahead and get you done" and invited me to wait in their air-conditioned waiting room. ( social distancing observed). I was in and out in 20 minutes. They were very courteous, respectful and repeatedly said they really appreciated my business. I wish no ill-will on Wingman, but there are plenty of other companies which do what they do. When companies institute absurd policies which are not focused on customer satisfaction or legitimate customer safety, customers leave and that company ultimately goes out of business. There is no legitimate reason to not allow a customer to go next door for a quick bite and get out of Texas' summer heat. Wingman's absurd policy not only cost it a lifelong customer, but also denied another local business ( the restaurant) from making a sale. I will not be doing business with Wingman again and I encourage others to take their business elsewhere if they are treated similarly. Henceforth, I will be taking my inspection and service needs to the Ford dealership. Businesses should be bending over backwards to entice customers to their doors--- not treat them like a nuisance who have no options. Shame on Wingman's ownership for implementing such an absurd customer policy. This is on you--not Covid! read more

I've been going here for quite some time, even though it's 15 miles out of my way and I have to plan a special trip, for three main reasons: 1. I think they're honest. 2. They don't try the "hard sell", push-you-into-more-services thing. 3. They act like they care about me and my car. Because of those three things, I feel like I can trust them. I know everyone can agree that it's SO important to find a place you can trust. Too much I've encountered the old stereotype of mechanics who try to pull the wool over a woman's eyes, or talk down to her as if she's a child. The men at Wingman don't do that. And, as another poster mentioned, they don't do that "hard sell" crap that's so annoying and turns me off trusting a place. That sort of thing makes me think that the shop doing it just looks at me as a dollar sign and may try to tell me things need fixing when they don't. Also, it makes me think that they don't feel like their good service is enough to keep people coming back. That's not the case with Wingman. They let their good service do the talking for them, and it speaks volumes. And they're honest and considerate. I went in to have my extra vehicle inspected and as the inspection man was walking out, before any money changed hands, he told me right off, "Your vehicle won't pass with that busted-and-taped taillight. I just don't want to waste your time. But if you get it fixed and bring it back, we'll try again." He may have mentioned that they could try to get the part and fix it if I wanted them to, but I don't remember. Regardless, I didn't feel pushed to let them do it. What a wonderfully honest and considerate thing to do! Imagine that - someone who's honestly concerned about wasting a customer's time. Plus, because he told me that before I paid, I was able to fix it (which I could do and did myself) at my leisure instead of stressing out about having to get it back before the however-many-days-you-have-to-do-it-before-you-have-to-pay-again time was up (I HATE THAT). And you can bet I went back to them. For sure. I hope the last story doesn't get anyone in trouble (though I doubt it will since it's obvious your business model isn't to squeeze as much as you can get out of your customers no matter the morality of it). Mr. Manager/Owner, if you're reading this, it's in large part because he did this that I keeping coming back. It showed honesty, integrity, and that y'all really do care about your customers and not just making money off them. As it was, I couldn't afford to have it fixed right then, so had to wait until another paycheck came in, then buy the part and do it myself. If he had done the inspection even though he knew it wouldn't pass, I would have had to pay for it anyway and would have lost that money since I wouldn't have been able to get it back in the grace period. Because your employee didn't force me into that position just to take my money, I came back and will continue to come back. Yeah, y'all lost out on being paid for that inspection that day, but you got it when I came back, and you're getting more in the long run because I will keep coming back and so will every friend I can tell about you. I came in 30 minutes before closing to do a car inspection with the possibility of doing an oil change! They were able to do both in less than 30 minutes, and were very courteous to me. They took the time to discuss different aspects of my car so that I could make the best educated decisions for my car and my budget! It was great to know my car passed inspection for this year! I am new to marble falls, and took my car in for an oil change. I was greeted promptly with a friendly face and smile, asked if I wanted coffee while I waited and even how I liked my coffee.. they came and showed me the difference in my oil and clean oil as well as my transmission fluid and clean transmission fluid. Everyone was just as friendly as the first guy.. the prices are very fair, they were very quick and attentive, and you get a coupon for a free car wash. Absolutely amazing customer service experience! Charles was my main guy and was very nice and knowledgeable. And the service itself was super quick and of excellent quality. They even brought my air filter to show me that it was still in good condition and didn't need to be replaced just yet. I loved this! NOT trying to up sell me on every little thing; it really feels like they put you, the customer, first. The pricing is very reasonable and I got a free car wash (and two weeks to use it)!
