Such a fun sports bar hiding in plain spot right in Draper. It's pretty unassuming from outside and the name gives off the thought it might just be sings but it's so much more. We came for a late dinner and to hopefully watch a game. While wings are on the menu we opted for a half order of their nachos with shredded pork added and a chicken quesadilla to share. While my som opted for the wings. Of course someone had to try them. Thank goodness we ordered the half order after listening to our waitress explain how massive the full order is. She was definitely right because with two of us eating them and a quesadilla we couldn't finish. The nachos were phenomenal and definitely packed a punch with the diced jalapeño. Plenty of meat, beans and cheese. Our quesadilla was toasted well and good flavor, my son liked his wings, but said they weren't his favorite. He left a few uneaten. We also tried some pickle chips, but unfortunately were not a fan. They didn't really have any flavor and weren't seasoned well. The vibe was on point and service even better. Server was so great and helpful when it came to drinks. One of my friends was vegan and our server was knowledgeable of the menu to accommodate for her needs. At one point they didn't have a drink we were looking for and the server recommended something else off the menu. Afterward the Bartender came over to see how my friend liked her drink. This place has so much potential to be great, especially in Draper where places to have drinks and watch a game are very limited. The wings are probably the best in the area, although it would be great if a few more flavor options would be available. I understand that places are struggling to find employees, but the woman who served us last time had the personality of a rock, and never bothered to check on us at all. We also ordered a margarita which tasted like sugar water. The Bloody Mary had absolutely no condiments in it. Perhaps investing in some training for your bartenders to learn how to make a drink would be helpful. We probably will order take out once in a while because the wings are great, but this is the third time where the service and drinks have been very subpar. read more

Comically incompetent establishment. Came here for a team lunch (4 people) at noon today and the place was mostly empty, except for a meth addict walking up and down the bar repeatedly. Our single appetizer, NACHOS, took 35 minutes to arrive. The waitress got half our wing orders wrong, (wrong flavors and wrong number of wings), thought it was funny and laughed it up without offering to do anything except have the cook make some more, and didn't come to check up on us even once. I had to flag her down to get refills. She then tried to get us to pay in the middle of our meal. Great atmosphere, tons of TV's with all different sports playing. The wings are baked not deep fried so tasted amazing, and there was plenty of liquor choices for me to choose from. My kids played on the Buzztime pads and the shuffle board. Service was good even with it being very busy. We will keep coming here, gotta try the live music on Tuesday and Thursday nights. I love the wings, the sports atmosphere and beer selection. Which is why I have been such a loyal customer for YEARS. The reason I gave it a 2, is the service. The owner keeps this place chronically understaffed and has for years! I'm not exaggerating when I say it took 2 hours to get our food. My wife gave up and went home. AND, they got the order wrong. Now, I was sitting there sipping beer and watching the soccer game with another friend, so it didn't bother me too much. And the wings were still good. Ordering food here is the same as bww, except there isn't much choice and the prices are a bit more expensive, esp the pork chop shape wings. The sauce range from none spicy, medium and hot. We started off with buffalo chips. They came out very hot but was super delicious. It has a side of ranch for you to dip your chips in. We asked for ketchup and by the time they brought it we had like one left. I ordered 8 bone in chicken wings. With that I get two different sauce. I chose the mildest one which is thai coconut curry, and the "most spicy" one southern lemon. The wings were super covered with sauce so every bite is messy and delicious. Just perfect. The Thai coconut curry is very delicious. The southern lemon isn't hot at all, but it does have a weird kick in the end. The wings are here and delicious, but the lack of choices and the sauces available didn't appeal to me. Also with how slow the service was even though it's suppose "bar service". My review is only on the call in service and food itself since I have not dined in at the restaurant itself. Decided to try this place since it's close to my house. Being new to Utah and in the search for the best wings in town. I give this place 3 stars based on the wings being decent and Buffalo chips are good but their southwest corn salad thing wouldn't even make it on the ranking. Idk if mine was just bad but it was almost not edible. The wings had good flavor but could have been cooked a little more. Pick up service was pretty quick and easy the guy at the bar helped me pay and check out looks like a good place over all to dine in next time. For a moment, I struggled with "is this a 2 or a 3 star review??" Then the true meaning of the difference between the two struck me. So, yeah, this was not an "A-OK" experience. It was more like a "Meh..." to be honest. So, my dilemma was satisfied, even if my taste buds weren't. I forced Hubby to accompany me to Wing Nutz, because although I'm a fan of Winger's saucy wings, I had to try the wings at WN. I was crazed, and he knew better than to put up a fight beyond "they're really not that great, and you're probably going to be disappointed...". Yeah, yeah, get in the car. We set out, and I pondered on the other reviews, some good, some okay, some not so good...I HAD TO KNOW! We arrived and proceeded directly to the bar. Wasatch Pumpkin Ale was on tap for me, and Hubby tried one I can't recall nor can he. Both were good, and accompanied the wings nicely. So, one of my unequivocal stipulations for a great hot wing is the heat. But not just heat. Fellow HOT hot wing lovers will understand this. The heat must be at peace with the flavor, and must not overwhelm to the point of drowning out the flavor. But yeah, I wanna FEEL it? You know? That's just the kind of girl I am. We ordered the 15 piece combo of the Lemon Hotty wings and the Chili Garlic wings in "Hot," because I didn't want to underestimate them and order their touted *Purgatory* just off the bat. Let's just see what this is all about first. They arrived en basket, with celery, carrot, and two dipping dressings, Ranch and Bleu Cheese. And an empty basket for bones; thank you. The napkins were flimsy as crepe paper, which should have been foretelling... The wings were baked, which I appreciated calorie-wise, vs. fried wings. But the baking process itself renders chicken dry (unless measures to prevent are taken). And this was (and they didn't so much). Not indispensibly dry, but more dry than I prefer my on-bone chicken. Now, the sauce. First, "Hot" wasn't hot. To me, that is - my disclaimer being that I love my heat hot, and can eat it in quantity. (That probably sounded worse than intended, but in the spirit of free speech, I'm leaving it.) Both sauces were good. I think. There wasn't enough of it to really taste it. The flavor was there, but once you dug into the chicken (vs. just licking what dusting of sauce there was off the outside), the little flavor that existed was immediately suffocated by the chicken itself. There was no need for strong napkins, I understood in retrospect. After determining that "Hot" wasn't hot here, I was more interested than ever to try the *Purgatory* heat. So, we asked for a taster sample in the Classic flavor. They don't do taster samples, but a "side" of Purgatory (ramekin) would be $0.99. Okay. It wasn't pretty; looked similar to tomato paste. And it's solely hot. Unfortunately, it suffered from the aforementioned condition; didn't offer much flavor to accompany the pepper-heat. So...Wing Nutz...good beer selection, nice sports bar feel with plentiful TVs, adequate-to-semi-friendly service, pricing that isn't completely ridiculous (our final bill was $25, before tip). The wings itself are cooked perfectly and still retain the juiciness but I found the sauces to be inferior to that other wing joint. First, they only have 3 groups of wings here - Mild, Medium and Hot. I like my wings spicy, but hot wings here are not hot enough for me. The Chipotle Lime just tastes like mild sour chili. I actually enjoyed the medium Jalapeno Honey BBQ better, wishing it had more kick in it. I found out later that I could actually request more heat to the sauce to PURGATORY level. I wish they had let me know back then. The Jamaican Jerk and Carolina Mustard are pleasant but forgettable. I feel that the sauces are not absorbed by the wings, as if they just coat the wings right before serving. I also tried Buffalo wedges but they are just alright. I like the ambience of the place though. The tables are clean and wall decor is the same as other wings cum sports bars. Service is alright, pretty friendly. I probably won't come here for my last meal on earth, but I am open to try their PURGATORY sauces next. read more
