    Philly Cheesesteak
    Kristin L.

I enjoyed everything here, except the main part of my order. We came in on a Friday evening and had plenty of tables to choose from which was nice. I absolutely loved our server, as she was full of energy and very attentive. Our food and drinks came out quickly and everything was correct. The service was the best part about this place; our server deserved a 5 star rating! Our server recommended the shot I ordered and it definitely didn't disappoint! It was a green apple shot that went down like juice; super tasty. The only thing I didn't enjoy at this Bout Time location was their cheesesteak. Normally, it's my favorite thing on their menu. But this one came out with a completely flavorless steak that couldn't even be saved by the onions, peppers and cheese. The bread also ended up falling apart on the bottom which made it difficult to eat. At least the tater tots were crispy.. While I was impressed by the service here, I'm probably going to avoid this location in the future out of fear that my food will come out under-seasoned. I get that every restaurant may have its off-days, but I've been to a different Bout Time location multiple times, that offers consistently good food. I'll be sticking to that location and skipping this one.

    The Chubby Melt

I'm reviewing this for two separate visits, both day and night experiences. First visit 6/3/22 - while our food and drinks were good (I got the chubby melt which I didn't read it was between 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and it was good but so big!), our server was mediocre at best. Our party of 7 came during the day and it was no where near busy. Sat at the bar like table across the actual bar. The 2 that showed up first ordered drinks, shots and an appetizer. As the rest of us trickled in, she got our drink orders for alcohol and she'll come back to do our regular drink order. She came back to take our other drink order and we couldn't place an order for appetizer because she'll come back to do that. She's back - we order our food. We get our drinks - both kinds. She was quick to replace our alcohol but not our water/soda. I ate my ice because she forgot to bring the water I asked for. She forgot things we specifically asked for when ordering our alcohol then didn't bring them out. She wanted to cash us out because she was leaving but we weren't anywhere near done. The person relieving her was better than she was at checking if we were okay and cleaning up because our server didn't remove plates or cups from our table. She kept telling us we were out of order when we would order things even though we didn't move from the minute we sat down. If I based my visit on her service, I'd probably choose elsewhere to go with my group. You gotta do more than smile and have an excuse when you're forgetting things. Also asked for a receipt and didn't get it. Fast forward a week later on 6/10, server was amazing! It was packed as the games were on that evening. Starr (name on my receipt is Starlie) was attentive, quick, polite, didn't make excuses as to how the system works which btw she just went to the person she needed to checkout which HELLO was the person NEXT to the one she just checked out and I would look for a table in her area the next time I come in. Food was still good, I had the Monte Cristo egg rolls with jam and ranch for dipping. Nope didn't dip those together, just wanted to try ranch on them ;) My sisters enjoyed their meals - nachos, Irish nachos, fries and a quesadilla. I also ordered 3 alcoholic beverages which I remember two of them were Dragon's Nectar and I don't remember the other. Lemon drop for my shot. All pretty good and part of my usual for BT visits.

monte cristo sandwich w/ cheese fries.

food was good, the pretzel filled me up fast so i didn't eat much of my food but definitely taking home to eat later!! the garlic fries had too much garlic on it, didn't eat much of those but the cheese fries were delicious! TAMI our waiter was so nice and gave very good customer service. the place overall was a good vibe & all the staff seemed very friendly!

It's not really this dark. But I think is a cool shot just before closing.

The West Jordan location is my favorite location! I usually drive by a couple others on my way to this location. As far as bars go, this Is my all around favorite!Good food and a large menu, great beverage selection, and usually open late. Great atmosphere and great people both staff and patrons. This is my go-to pub to catch up with my friends....

Service was veryyyyy slow. 4 servers to 14 patrons, took 10 minutes to get a server to get first order, and another 8 minutes to get cocktail. 1 1/2 hours for a side salad with watery ranch and 3 drinks. Gave it one more star because the TVs were good

It left a pretty bad taste in my mouth--literally and figuratively. But I decided to give them another shot recently, and I'm really glad I did. This time around, the service was a night-and-day difference. Friendly, attentive staff and the food came out just right. Not only was everything cooked properly, it was delicious. Special shoutout to the off-menu jalapeño poppers (IYKYK). They're crispy, creamy, and are wrapped in the most delicious bacon. TRY THEM. And then there's the Nut Butter burger (again, IYKYK). The combo of savory beef, melty peanut butter, melty cheddar cheese, with the addition of the house jam is next-level. Sweet, salty, messy, and worth every bite. Glad to see Lucky's stepping it up. I'll be back--and this time, on purpose.

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

We're staying in South Jordan and visited Bohemian Brewery in Midvale for dinner after getting checked into and dropping our bags off at our hotel. The brewery is easy to find but the entrance into the parking lot can be easier to miss. We walked inside and were seated immediately since it wasn't busy for a Thursday night. Along with some outdoor seating, additional seating can be found upstairs if it gets really busy. They have lots of alcohol choices and a massive cocktail list; their spring/summer cocktail list is available now. One cocktail they have I thought was clever was The Ghost of Burt Reynolds. We ordered a beer flight that consisted of the following beers; Cherny Bock (Czech black lager), Noble Hefeweizen (German-style Hefe), Bohemian Weiss (unfiltered wheat lager), and Viennese Amber (malty amber lager). Out of all these, my favorites were the Noble Hefeweizen and the Viennese Amber beers. For food, I got the Margherita pizza and my LTP got the Reuben sandwich with fries on the side. We had just completed a nearly six hour long drive to Utah from Nevada and I ended up finishing the entire pizza, which is a rare thing for me to do when I go out to eat. My LTP, on the other hand, who ALWAYS finishes everything on his plate, was the complete opposite. He could only finish one part of his sandwich and half his fries before deciding to take it back with him. I really enjoyed the European-style feel of this place. The interior is very similar to that of a ski lodge, complete with a fireplace in the downstairs dining area. I would love to come back to Bohemian Brewery during our next trip to Utah.
