I like this place. I know it is a chain but the food is constant. My only issue is that they only have cane sauce. Give us a choice.

Small menu, that's how these fancy places are. We ordered the pasta, mediterranean dip, chicken piccata, Cesar salad. It was good but you don't ever feel fully full from a place like this. Drinks were amazing! Service is kinda awkward because they're trying so hard to be chic. Nice place to try and get dressed up for!

Our table of 3 opted for a few shareable and soup and it did not disappoint. We left full and packed leftovers ! BlackBerry mocktail was refreshing and a great option Cauliflower app (5/5) a huge portion, great crunch and perfect cauliflower to batter ratio. It was decently spicy without being overpowering and a fantastic very shareable option. We had 3 adults and still had about half left. Ginger carrot soup (4/5) was yummy but leaned a bit more pumpkin vine than carrot. Gnocchi starter (3/5) great consistency, but a bit too oily at least mine was and there wasn't much taste unless you snagged a bit of the meat with it Chicken lollipops (5/5) great taste and anther substantial share option.

The Magic Touch Is Still Very Much Alive It had been a while…read moresince my last visit, and coming back to Penny Ann's Cafe in Draper was a genuinely pleasant surprise. Five locations and they have not lost a step. The menu is simple and does not need to be anything else. Plenty of omelette options, solid sides, and the star of the show: the Heavenly Hot Cakes. The name is not marketing fluff, it earns every word. Light, airy, and unlike any pancake you will find at a generic breakfast chain. Their secret, sour cream folded into the batter. Whatever they are doing, it works! We ordered a single stack, two Heavenly Hot Cakes, and paired it with a side of strawberries and Nutella, scrambled eggs, and home fried potatoes. The bacon came out crispy to perfection, exactly as requested, no more no less. The strawberries and Nutella alongside the pancakes was an indulgent combination that I have zero regrets about. Portions are generous and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Staff was friendly and the place fills up fast on weekends, so join the waitlist before you leave home. Do not show up and hope for the best. Five stars. A Utah breakfast institution that continues to earn it.

Their menu changes weekly so it's always exciting to see what their new burgers are every Thursday…read more My friends ordered their "gyro" burger and I ordered off the menu along with a few appetizers. I didn't try the gyro burger because it was very raw on the inside. It was lamb and wagyu but I prefer my burger meats to be cooked all the way through. My friends said it was sweet and it's probably because they glazed the bun. The fat bastard oysters were too big for my liking. There's also gelato on top which was weird because it made the oyster taste like it was partially frozen. I don't recommend this. The rolls tasted like biscuits. It was crumbly and it wasn't expected for a nice restaurant. The heirloom tomato pastry was my favorite dish of the night. The half sashimi trout was more like a stew in sweet sauce. The baby yellow potatoes were just added without any seasonings. Assuming it should soak in the sweet juices? I didn't care for it. Trout was good, but preferred that the skin was crispy, which was extremely soggy, drowned in the sauce. Server asked if I wanted bread to drink the sauce and sure. Why not. It may taste better with regular bread and it wasn't. You can also skip valet parking if you just walk an extra minute down the parking lot. I forgot what one of the desserts name but it was the one with butter cake. This was extremely sweet too with the gooey caramel sauce. The donut was ridiculously expensive at $16 with a little honeycomb decoration. Nothing special with the desserts. Overall, everything is sweet here. Their menu is a lot and I feel like the burger menu can be a little too much and trying too hard to be fancy.

It was my mother's birthday and we wanted to spend a little extra time with my folks. The menu hasn't changed much over the years with many of the same staple items that have been here for years. They do switch them up a little from time to time adding a different side or accompaniment. The fried chicken, meatloaf, Wagyu steak and so on. The difference is that their prices have gone up 50% most dishes used to run around $28, with the Wagyu steak being $59. Now everything is around $44-49 and the Wagyu is still $59. The small bowl of soup used to be around $8 now $12. Appetizers were $12-18 now $17-28. For four of us, no drinks, the bill came to $320 with a 20% tip.

I was impressed, would recommend the fried as it was by far better. Lastly the Nashville sauce was on point Can't go wrong going here 4/5 For someone thats bored and has time to read in depth yelp reviews Alright, this was somewhere that I was brought along to by coworkers. I was expecting somewhere that was similar to any other chicken joint in utah(as they have been flooding every corner...you can't escape chicken here....). BUT, the vibe here was okay, I definitely wouldn't go as far to say it was in a nice area but it felt like I went to an old taco time that half committed to a renovation. That's to say that it was perfectly fine to sit in and I didn't have any problem with it, besides that it was an old building. As for the chicken, they have plenty of options for you to choose from, for a chicken restaurant, you could have it in tenders, sandwiches, wraps, salads, or wings. The loaded fries were highly recommended by my friends but I will say I did not feel like destroying my stomach that day. In of its self, I would say that the wrap was pretty tasty, the chicken was well made and the sauce was as good as I could've hoped. The fries were also on point and wrapped up a good meal, would I say that this is the best food in the area? No, but you wont be disappointed in making a stop here if you feel like getting away from the ever growing empire of chick-fil-a.

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.
