I've been a patient of Dr. Zeng's for around ten years. Although the Yelp category shows him as a…read morepediatric dentist, he treats all ages and one of his offices is in South Windsor. Fortunately, I've only needed basic exams and cleanings most of that time. In fall 2020, I had about a quarter of a molar fall out. It didn't hurt, but I knew it had to be looked at. I was able to get a quick appointment with Dr. Zeng. It was also time for a cleaning. Although the cavity was large, Dr. Zeng was able to fill it and did an excellent job. I continued to have no pain and the filling has worked well. I have complete faith in him as a dentist. It is my clear observation that he is more interested in helping his patients than making money. He has never recommended any questionably unnecessary work nor cosmetic dentistry for me. Because of moving around for my job, I've had about ten dentists in my life. Dr. Zeng is at the top of my list. I highly recommend him and his attractive, immaculate and well-run office.

Going to the dentist can be overwhelming with a toddler. My son does not let anyone beside his parents brush his teeth. We were able to sing songs before opening his mouth to check his teeth. Took a few songs, but it worked out. I just want him to be familiar with opening mouth and brushing teeth with other people besides us. The workers in the front were lovely and helpful checking us in. The office is on the second floor and there's a slide you can come down that leads to the first floor. That's very catchy and enjoyable for the kids. My son loves to look at the fishes in the office as well. Thank you Dr. K!

They prefer to have me pay for what "they think I owe" prior to sending to my insurance first. They have very limited time frames for appointments and it takes 10 months to get a wellness visit. Thrilled to be leaving after 3 years with them for a much more accommodating pediatric dentist. Also of note, the actual dentist here is not very warm with children, and makes parents feel as if they are ruining their children's teeth if they eat any snack that is not a raw carrot. First and foremost - the dentistry here is second to none. Dr. Burstein is the guru of dentists in…read morethe area in my opinion and from my experience. I have referred others here and they agree. The office is spotless clean and modern. They are so focused on germ containment they don't even have the spit bowls I used to use (before coming here years ago) at every other dentist. Lights, tools and other equipment are always wrapped to keep clean. His photo technology and equipment is so far and above what I expect and have seen elsewhere. Each treatment room has an LCD monitor and they show you high def pictures of your mouth when explaining issues and treatment plans. He uses a DSLR for jaw, bite and other external shots but mostly uses a hand held special pen like camera that takes great pictures inside your mouth. You can see plaque, cavities (and every drop of saliva) which makes it easy for us as patients to understand what they are telling us. This documentation is also great because over the years you can see changes in your mouth (improvement or deterioration). Dr. Burstein also does a lot of oral surgery himself that many other dentists refer you out for. He's really a passionate, knowledgeable and personable top notch dentist. You only have to meet him and engage in some "tooth talk" before this becomes very obvious. The staff is friendly and efficient. Hygienists and assistants are also top notch; birds of a feather... My only real complaint about the practice (and I've let them know :) ) is they can be aggressive with scheduling...calling, emailing and texting. If you're overdue for a cleaning - they will let you know, and often. They used to call me to schedule for my adult children and I think I have finally gotten them to call them directly. This stuff is so unimportant when compared to his talent and commitment to his profession, however.
