The office is spotless clean and modern. They are so focused on germ containment they don't even have the spit bowls I used to use (before coming here years ago) at every other dentist. Lights, tools and other equipment are always wrapped to keep clean. His photo technology and equipment is so far and above what I expect and have seen elsewhere. Each treatment room has an LCD monitor and they show you high def pictures of your mouth when explaining issues and treatment plans. He uses a DSLR for jaw, bite and other external shots but mostly uses a hand held special pen like camera that takes great pictures inside your mouth. You can see plaque, cavities (and every drop of saliva) which makes it easy for us as patients to understand what they are telling us. This documentation is also great because over the years you can see changes in your mouth (improvement or deterioration). Dr. Burstein also does a lot of oral surgery himself that many other dentists refer you out for. He's really a passionate, knowledgeable and personable top notch dentist. You only have to meet him and engage in some "tooth talk" before this becomes very obvious. The staff is friendly and efficient. Hygienists and assistants are also top notch; birds of a feather... My only real complaint about the practice (and I've let them know :) ) is they can be aggressive with scheduling...calling, emailing and texting. If you're overdue for a cleaning - they will let you know, and often. They used to call me to schedule for my adult children and I think I have finally gotten them to call them directly. This stuff is so unimportant when compared to his talent and commitment to his profession, however.

I called today to have him seen and the dentist blatantly refused to see him citing that the "tooth was too decayed for him to do." Arriving at the location after getting off I-91 North and driving into Windsor for which felt like forever, we found the building located with other medical offices along the road with other corporations. I will say it may be common practice to schedule a procedure at 9am and have us both time waiting for someone to come to the window. If you were going to be away from the front, add a bell or something. We were able to check in easily enough, with my sister being taken in for the procedure. Luckily, being prepared I had snacks and a drink to pass the time for the hour long procedure as the road doesn't have much on it. Their timing is pretty good as I was called in to sit with my sister an hour after she went in. They seem to maintain a steady pace for appointments because a mother and son came in for their appointment as my sister was taken to a recovery room to let the medication subside. We were there for a good hour as my sister continued to recover and toward the end of it, we were wondering if we were forgotten. With my sister thirsty because she needed to have an empty stomach, we were itching to leave. Being from NJ, she didn't have a pharmacy for the medication she needed so we took the script and went to Walmart. Getting to Walmart, my sister noticed that her address was incorrect. Luckily the script was accepted as I was not going to drive all the way back to Windsor from Manchester because of an incorrect address...Sorry. Once in a lifetime procedure and lucky for that, get them all out and never go back because it is a process and a pricey one for our time and money at that.

Numerous and necessary visits: To extract the wounded, and in my case a bone graft, post-op check & template fitting, install of the implant, the last check, and finally, back to my dentist for a customized crown. Science & Engineering! The process in my case just shy of 11 months. The staff: Wow, what pleasant professionals! Absolutely, no complaints. Tapping out my annual dentistry insurance, yes.
