We've used Wing in the past for repair of our rental house heater and never had a complaint. But this time they failed us. Our daughter moved into the rental this summer but as the weather has turned cold this fall and they tried the stove in wouldn't start. I called Wing thinking they'd helped us in the past and I got the receptionist, apparently. I explained our problem but she said all the technicians were busy on the showroom floor. She assured me they'd call as soon as they got back to their desks. So I waited. And waited, and waited. No call back. So I called back and the woman very rudely told me they were still busy. Im surprised actually. I've never been treated so poorly as a consumer. I received a quote in October to purchase a stove. They did an in house visit and we secured a delivery and install date for the following month. I confirmed with the sales rep on two separate occasions for delivery and install. Day before delivery they call and need to reschedule for a day later due to sick employee but will call to confirm Delivery time. No call and the new delivery day came and went with no call and no install. Ive called to ask what is going on and they say they have to "look into it" and call me back. I still have no return call from this company and no stove. Who does that?! Schedules an install and then completely ghosts you as a customer?!? These guys are disorganized, haphazard, unprofessional, and unreliable. I don't trust them. Perhaps I dodged a bullet with them because if they're this bad on the front end I certainly wouldn't trust them on install or warranty issues. I do not recommend this business and encourage you to buy elsewhere. read more

My woodstove from maybe the mid 1970s was in dire need of being replaced as well as all the pipes and outside chimney. I gathered three estimates and went with Wing for a couple reasons - and not just price. I had no idea what the cost would be, so I took photos and measurements of my current set up and shared them with the sales person Zack. In addition to being an old stove, it was also a smaller one and not our main heat source. I wanted to keep the same footprint and location as well. Zack helped me search through the inventory to find the right shape and size that allowed for the same size cut logs we were already using. He then gave me prices and set up an appointment for an estimate for the total job. Estimate accepted and installation appointment made - I was told it would take them about four hours. Day of installation I was surprised to see it was just ONE person. But he wasn't concerned and got right to work removing the old system and putting in the new one. With one person it took just a couple hours longer. Once finished, it was ready to go. He cleaned up everything and demonstrated how the new stove worked - and yes, it was different than ours which was just a box and a chimney - no air source or anything. Then came the tally and actual costs. Turned out there were a couple of items ordered but not needed, so I received a refund in a very timely manner. After the fact, I found that Clean Air Spokane offered a rebate for putting in a certified stove or switching from wood to gas. I got a certificate to give to Wing, and they cut me a check for the rebate amount! What a great deal and surprise. Note - I would check there first to see what rebates are offered and which companies honor them before getting it installed. Great experience for what was a very big project in my experience. The new stove is SO efficient and easy to use, I wish I had done it sooner. All the folks at the showroom/office were very helpful and professional. read more

About a year after returning the safe, I received a call from them asking me if I changed the passcode for the safe that I had purchased and then returned. I hadn't changed the passcode, and didn't even use the safe after purchasing it, as I found it to be deficient on multiple levels. When I explained to the employee that I never changed the passcode, and even if I had, I wouldn't remember what it was considering a full year had passed since I returned it, they just hung up on me. I give 5 out of 5 for the woman and man who installed my pellet stove they were friendly and made sure I knew how to start my new pellet stove. I give the office staff a 4 out of 5 because I still have yet to complete my request of getting a instruction book on my new stove and the warranty. I gave them my e-mail address on the first 2 requests and on the 3rd request I gave them my mailing address. read more

DO NOT BE IN A HURRY! We ordered a wood stove insert and a gas fireplace log the first week of August 2018. We paid 50 percent up front, trying to be the nice guy. We were told it would be "a couple of weeks" until they came in. Never heard a word. Finally went in the second weekend of September and they acted like they had never heard of us or our order. They photocopied OUR copies of the orders. Finally, the orders came in the last week of September. They scheduled install on October 28th. When they showed up, they installed the gas line but had to wait for the inspector. They did not have the correct tools with them to install the wood stove. They rescheduled for November 21. The day before Thanksgiving. They showed up and partially installed the wood stove and did not touch the gas log. Thanksgiving was spend with a wood stove hanging out of one fireplace and a giant box of gas log parts in the living room. The day AFTER Thanksgiving, two guys showed up and finished the installation. We were told that they would contact the inspector and should be done in "a week or so". You got it. Never heard anything. Called several times and no one knew anything. Finally, the inspector showed up the LAST WEEK OF JANUARY. We were called and told what the final payment was. We made what we thought was the final payment. A week later, they called because they had missed an invoice. They mailed us two invoices both marked unpaid. They had not applied the "final" payment made to our account. My husband went in again, and again they photocopied OUR paperwork. My husband made an appointment with the owner and they (hopefully) got it all straightened out. Finally done with the nightmare that is Wings Stoves the middle of February 2019. Recently, after having an improperly installed gas insert by a local dealer, we had Matt come out and re-install our insert correctly . His customer service, help, & work was professional, courteous, and above the norm. He replaced improper & damaged parts on the insert, adjusted performance to the max, and gave us a complete rundown on operation and certification for safety. It is so nice to have a safe & working insert in our home. His promptness & customer service action to our problem was of the highest quality and courtesy. I recommend Wing Stoves to anyone who desires honesty, quality installation, and service. He corrected a hazardous situation and we are very grateful. read more

Unbelievably poor service. Never ever do business with these people! Waste of time. Came out and bid the job, took our $1,600 deposit, scheduled the job then didn't show up. We rescheduled the job and then sent an e-mail refusing to install the stove. Had to call to get our deposit back. Unbelievable! read more
