That's a very specific kind of bread that kind of looks like braids - not sure why they'd misclassify it? Just marketing? Very weird. Anyway, the bread was a perfectly good sandwich/hoagie kind of roll. Super soft inside. A little crisp on the outside. Great! The filling was a little sparse. I expected a little more from it, but it was well balanced, to be fair. The meat was tender and pretty good, though lacking seasoning. The "guac" was kind of a non-entity - it gave a nice mouthfeel, but I didn't get much avocado, onion, or anything from it. The cotija cheese definitely shined through, which is why I said it was well balanced. An imbalance of meat/avocado could have completely hidden it, but it was definitely there - and tasty! I paid $13.00 for the full sandwich. They offered waffle fries for $1 more, which I declined. I don't think I needed it - I'm stuffed. While I expected it to be bigger, I don't think it needed to be. I think my ideal lunch would be a more-stuffed, full-on, half-sandwich with some waffle fries and ketchup (or maybe some inspired, interesting sauce!) - maybe next time. There are so many really great places to get a sandwich in Bellevue: Potbelly is half the price (and better) and Homegrown is similarly priced with better sandwiches. I appreciate that they have moved to an app for their rewards system. I would never have the punch cards when I came to the mall maybe once a year in more recent years. I usually order a chicken Philly or chicken California and they're delish. Ordered a Philly steak today and my kid ordered the chicken Cali. It was over $30 for 2 regular combos with ultimate fries and large lemonades. I downloaded the app so I was able to save $5. Issues- you cannot hear the person taking your order and she can't hear you. Order from your app- it will be way easier. Also, they always look more flustered than any of the other food places. Maybe it's just the nature of cooking the meat as orders are placed, maybe it's that they are busier. I don't appreciate spending $30 for mall food and being charged $.69 for a side of ranch. Also, the $5 discount wasnt showing up for me (they have a sign up saying download the app and save $5 on your meal) and the lady was telling me to use it next time. I asked if she would manually discount it and she refused and said I would have to use it next time. For someone that comes to the mall once a year that's less than helpful. Good service goes a long way. Maybe Charleys doesn't care. Maybe it's a mall thing. It eventually worked and I got my $5 discount but it shouldn't be that big of a hassle.

The inside was clean with plenty of tables and chairs for people to sit at to eat their food or wait. There was firefighter suit and equipment near the entrance which I thought was fitting. The staff here were friendly and professional, they would greet anyone who came in. We got the medium hook and ladder which was really good. I asked for extra lettuce, tomatoes, and onions but I feel like only the onions were extra as it looked the same as my boyfriend's which had no customizations. I love the careful construction of the sandwich as it didn't fall apart like Subway sandwiches. I also appreciate the hot sauce bar and it has changed my perspective of hot sauce on sandwiches which now I will be doing too! My boyfriend was also very impressed and even tempted to get another sandwich as he wanted to try one of the other sandwiches as he loved his so much. Other than the biscuits (which were delicious), everything tasted like it came out of a box or a can. The gravy was watery and flavorless, which was a shame because it didn't really stick to the biscuits. The potatoes and hash browns had zero crispiness to them. The eggs were chewy, so much so that you had to use a knife to cut through them. But the saddest, most disappointing part of the meal was the waffle. It was so soft that even a knife wouldn't fully cut through it. I ended up using my hands to pull it apart. The "maple" syrup is some no-name brand made with corn syrup which made the waffle inedible. Our meal was nearly $60 with a tip and drinks. We could have saved $40 by going to the grocery store and making breakfast ourselves. I hate to give a local business a bad review, but I wanted to give an honest take on our experience.
