Wingers is probably my favorite place. I love wings and they just have the crispest around! But that's not what this is about. A few days ago(Sunday I believe) I went with my BF to get dinner. We ordered some chips and I started to feel sick while eating them and by the time our food came out I was very sick. Our waitress handled the situation like a champ! She ran my card and had the food boxed up so quickly! She was asking if I was ok and would be alright. Very nice! I forgot her name but she has light colored hair and glasses. Great waitress!! Let's start with service is a 5 star Food quality is a 2star Walked in, as the host was not at the stand a server stopped and help me. The host came and sat me in Misty's section. She greeted me with in a minute,with a smile and a great personality I ordered the roadhouse burger with tomato lettuce pickles and add bacon Well not a good start, came out with onion and mayo the two things did not ask for. Renea (spelling most likely wrong). Served me my food and when I realized about the mayo she quickly fixed the issue. My server was attentive and made sure all was good with my experience. The best part of my food was the steak fries. The burger seemed to be frozen and cooked a second time. Let me reiterate the service was fabulous. Not too impressed here folks. I came here with my family to get some beers and appetizers. The apps were a little pricey and small, and the beer was just pricey. My family agreed, the service sucked, and monster truck rallies on TV? Oh and a horrible hunting show was on. I would have rather watched NHL hockey, or anything else really. Visited wingers on a few occasions on my stay in Elko. I was skeptical because of other wingers establishments I have visited. This place is better then most wingers I have been to. The staff are amazing and friendly take your order promptly keep your glass full and the food is good and had what was supposed to on the plant when it arrived at the table the first time, I didn't have to ask if something was supposed to be there like other wingers. When you drive through a town you aren't familiar with, you generally go to yelp to see what might be good. Well, this one had only two stars... and it deserved. We ordered wings... which should be sensational with a name like Wingers.. but no, they were simply mediocre. I ordered anothe 'speciality', fajita combo. It tasted a lot more like liver and onions because they grilled to onions too long and only had a sliver of green pepper. It didn't taste like it should but was edible. My decision is I'll never go to a Wingers again.. just not up to what I want. I'd rather go to one of the fast food chains. read more

If wings are the only thing you care about, then you'll enjoy this place. They were very good; both times we had them with the house Winger's sauce. If you care about every other aspect of a dining experience, then prepare to be pretty disappointed. We sat at the bar both times we were there, and dealt with annoyingly trashed fellow diners, empty beers, and disappearing bartenders. I wasn't going to put a review but this place has potential. And for it being a new spot in Elko where there really isn't anything else, this place should be 5 stars. I'm not from Elko but was here with my BF for a class. Stopped by here to have lunch. The place was not crowded at all and the server was very nice -- only thing was the food took very long and when we needed him he wasn't anywhere to be found. I ordered the Asian chicken salad and it tasted very blah. Also, my bf ordered a bacon cheese burger but there was no bacon in it. AT ALL. And it was cooked well done. He wasn't even asked how he wanted the burger prepared which I thought was odd. Needless to say, the burger was dry with no flavor and no bacon in it. My bf didn't end up eating the burger and since we were on a time crunch it wasn't worth having another burger made. When the waiter was notified he took a measly $2 off our bill. Gee thanks. Wingers is a nice establishment. A nice place to go have a drink and watch the game and have some food. But they really must work on the service and the taste of the food. I was really glad my girlfriend spotted this place while we were on the road. Both of us thought that this was among the best wings we had ever had. We had the lunch special of bottomless chicken fingers. For the amount you get, you really don't need them to be "bottomless". But I enjoyed them so much, I did order a second round, which is something I really don't typically do. The breading they use is absolutely the best I've ever had, and the sauce was fantastic. The service was a little slow. We were looking at empty glasses more than once. It wasn't exceptionally busy, at least it didn't seem that way, and our server didn't mention anything that might explain slower than average service. But she was pleasant anyway. I really wish they were in California...or at least he rest of the western states. It makes me sad I have to go Reno to get this again. read more

Nice and fast and delicious. Doing a north east jeep trip in Nevada, spent the mid day in Jarbidge. So looking for big and tasty food to top off the day. Saw wingers in our travels and checked on Yelp. Those low ratings do this place a disservice. Our food to go was perfect, real Guam and homemade chips were flavorful and warm. Got the original buffaloes wings (been there in Buffaloe NY) and the red chili version too. Both were delicious; warm, tasty and cooked through. One of our best choices on this visit. I'm only giving two stars because of a few young ladies that work there that where very nice and showed concern for us as two men that a family member knew might cause us some issues and these girls noticed that we where uncomfortable they offered to move us and or them, now as for our personal waitress she was very slow and forgetful she would forget our drinks and our food we had to ask several times and each time she would say oh yes it's in the window by the time we would get something it was cold. As for the food it was gross and over seasoned a little goes a long way but I don't think I can really judge it properly as when we actually got the food it was like it was just sitting in a warmer or heated in the microwave because she left it sitting for so long again the two stars are for the young ladies that actually showed us concern. read more

Ever since I've known of this place, the service has been horrendous. The economy has since changed for Elko, NV since I've moved away for 2.5 years. Sadly, the economy has had little to do at Wingers because the service is still awful. We waited more than 15 minutes to simply be acknowledged. Once we expressed we were leaving, the server was desperate to keep us and blamed the situation on a new server. An excuse heard only a week or two ago by one of the other party members. I write this not because I enjoy being negative, but because one hopes a corporate office reads their own reviews and takes corrective action. One can only hope... Went here a couple weeks ago on a recommendation. Sat 10 minutes and never saw a waiter so I left. I wont be returning.

We got an order of onion sticks and sticky fingers to share. Took 45 min to arrive. At time of order asked for blue cheese rather than ranch. Got ranch. Had to ask for plates, silverware and sauce for onion sticks. One sticky finger was instead bone in wing. All IPA's on draft each time I choose one they return with 'sorry'. I was the one sorry. Since we eat out less, the heavily salted wings were just too much and I am the one that loves salt. With Covid-19 it would be nice if the staff wore their masks over their nose and mouth instead of their neck and chin. read more

Service was and always is good but my boyfriend asked them to remake a meal (it wasn't what he expected and he wanted more sauce) and they did of course. but the on staff manager Meg was very unprofessional when it came down to us having them take the plate back she came to our table like she was about ready to rip some ass then when I calmly explained the issue she said oh okay I'll take it all off the ticket! Problem solved right? Haha nope. So not only did she not take the plate off that was messed up she ADDED an extra plate to my ticket and argued that I had ordered it. Their food is hit and miss. Sometimes its fabulous and sometimes it's not so great. Called in a take-out order the other day and they messed up almost every dish we got. No cheese at all on the cheddar bacon fries we got. No croutons on my Ceasar salad, etc. Stupid mistakes. Then we were told it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by here on our way from California to a family reunion and I wish now that I would have listened to previous reviews and just kept driving on. Thomas was very polite as he seated us and also took our plates out of our way later but that was the only nice part about our visit. Isabella was our server and I've never had worse service in my life.. when our "garlic fries" arrived we both had a few and when she came back I asked her if they were in fact garlic fries because they were so plain and her response was yes, what's wrong? And stood there with her hand on her hip and in an irritated tone asked if we wanted more garlic to put on them. Then our food came and mine were some classic zing I think she called them when they were suppose to be classic buffalo. I pointed out they were the wrong flavor and she said "well that's why I asked you what flavor you wanted".. that's the one I told her and she even read it back to me! I went here for my birthday because I got a gift card from my employer and 1) the service sucked, 2) they switched up my diet for regular which made for an interesting night since I'm a diabetic, 3) they said they couldn't process my gift card because 'they didn't know how,' so I ended up paying for my birthday because the manager bullied me when I tried to put up a fight about how dissatisfied I was with the service. My boyfriend and I went back the next day to complain and the same manager was there. He tried to bully my boyfriend as well but wasn't as successful with it. Best burger in Elko! The food here is great but I have a tough time ordering anything other than the Roadhouse Burger. One of the few places that'll prepare it rare, seasoned and seared to perfection. They make it to order and do so greatly. I've tried several other items, mostly from my wife's plate, and so far everything has been wonderful. The wings aren't half bad but I have had much better in my travels. Being a "wing joint" puts undo pressure on the restaurant as a whole. Winger's is definitely one of our top go to joints in Elko. Great food, excellent service and decent prices. We eat here at least once a week and will continue to do so. read more

We went here for dinner. We had a coupon for a free appetizer. The waitress told us we could get the variety sampler if we wanted. Turns out that one is not included as a free one. We ordered burgers and wings. One burger was supposed to have gluten free bun. When it came it didn't seem like it was so we asked the waitress and she confirmed that it was gluten free. Turns out they didn't even have gluten free buns. The rest of the food was only okay. We asked to have the one meal removed from the bill since it couldn't be eaten and they said they couldn't do it. Finally at the end the manager provided some coupons and apologized and called a meeting with her employees. We weren't very impressed. read more

Everything about this place was bad. Not busy but twenty minutes to set up a table for eight another fifteen minutes to place drink order add another fifteen to get 7 of the 8 drinks delivered and additional ten for the 8th drink. Orders placed 7 of the 8 delivered after an unreasonable wait all seven of the other dinners had finished their meals when waitress came and said the eighth meal should be right out. REALLY don't bother. Only reason rated a one star is the waitress did box the meal up and took off the bill. It was another fifteen minutes wait with no one coming to take our payment had to track a different wait staff down to pay. Obviously won't be back and won't recommend. Should have left when it took so long to be seated but late and location was handy. read more
