She kept up with our entire group, made sure our drinks were always refilled, checked on us throughout the meal, and made us feel very well taken care of. Her customer service was truly top notch! We made a pit stop here while waiting to meet up with some Familia in the SLC area. We were kinda craving some wings, did a search, and Bickety Bickety Bam who should appear? A place called Wingers which we have never tried... and off we go. The place definitely had a relaxed vibe and atmosphere. It was the lunch crowd, not terribly busy, and we were able to get seated right away. My father in law's palette has dramatically changed over the years, and he seems to favor the more bland varieties of food... but surprising, not today. He ordered the Sticky Fingers Tacos, with flour tortillas, but he wasn't too impressed. He couldn't get over the glazed sauce on the chicken. In fact, his first statement was... "Never had a taco with no meat in it." Once we explained there was meat dead smack in the center, he just kind of gruffed like he wasn't impressed. So I ate one of them for him (twist my arm... please) and you know what? It was pretty good. Nothing fabulous outrageously good, but it was alright. The wife and I both ordered a Sticky Finger Wrap, which we ended up just sharing one plate and the fries. We took the other meal back to the rental house for someone else to feast on. We both thought the wrap was great with some sauce. I also ordered a 7 piece (I think) of the Garlic and Parmesan Dry rub bone in wings (the only way to go)... and I did really enjoy this version. Typically, I have the same flavors but glazed in buttery cheesy goodness with minced garlic slathered all over them... and this was the first time having it with a dry rub. Did not disappoint. Came here on a Saturday evening for dinner for 7 and we were seated right away. Our server was definitely great! I had the wing dinner with original sauce, and instead of regular fries I had the cheese bacon fries which was so good! I think they put an aioli sauce on it which made it so delicious! She likes it because of their 2 for $20 deal; and their chicken fried chicken that we tried a long time ago in Cedar City in 2013. Since that visit, they have done away with both the 2 for $20 deal and the chicken fried chicken. But when she says that we need to go, it what we do. Like all Wingers, they started us of with a basket of popcorn. Our waitress was nice and took our orders. She listened to my wife as she described the chicken fried chicken and told my wife that they could try to replicate that dish even though it was no longer on the menu. The food came out after about 20 minutes. The chicken fried chicken was close. But, might have been missing gravy. But, my wife was appreciative of the effort. The steak I ordered was overcooked. Places like Winger's aren't my typical choice. My husband doesn't eat chicken, so despite living close by, it took quite a while to convince him that there were other options on the menu (although limited). I know this sounds funny for a foodie to say, but Winger's has one of the best burgers in town! Juicy and delicious, with a nice char flavor. I personally don't go for the burgers with all the random things on them (fried onion, barbecue sauce, etc), but ALL of Winger's burgers are good. I wouldn't describe myself as a wing connoisseur, but their wings are the best I've found around town also. I wasn't into their fried "sticky fingers" (they were nothing special), but I have always really enjoyed their wings. Another surprising option at wingers is their own brand of beer! I've come here at least 4 times and on different days of the week. Each time I've been here I've had 4 different experience. Most of them good. One of them was not so good. I'm pretty familiar with the menu and atmosphere. This place rarely gets packed, at least the times I've come. When you sit down they usually will serve you fresh popcorn while you decide on what you will order. My go to order is the wings flats house original! They are SOO YUMMY! Made fresh each time I've come here. This time I orders the Buffalo Cauliflower. I wad very disappointed! I did like that they are generous with the serving size. My problem was with the Buffalo Cauliflower itself. When you pick up a piece of buffalo cauliflower it is light, which made me excited to try it. Once you bite down oil squirt out into your mouth. I did not care for the seasoning! The cauliflower was soggy and so oily. This was the worst buffalo cauliflower I've had! California Pizza Kitchen has the best! I expected it to be slighty al dente but sadly it wasn't. If you go here stick to the wings and fries you can't go wrong there. That wasn't all, I paid $8 for the cookie zookie and it was not a cookie zookie. it was just a plain old cookie with no ice cream or toppings. Surprisingly enough -- the salmon has been a favorite item off of the menu. The wings don't disappoint and the Ale house nachos for the appetizer is a must. First, I want to start off by saying I'm soooo disappointed that they took out the onion rings and replaced it with onion straws. The onions rings are soooo good and the straws do not compare. The chicken was so thick, it's all I tasted and I definitely did not like it, I even removed it after a couple of bites. The egg was suppose to be over easy, it was over cooked. I do love how they give you the lettuce, tomato and onion on the side and not in the burger already. I especially love the whole baby pickle. Apparently this burger didn't come with any sauce on the inside, came with their creamy amazing sauce on the side that I'm not fond off. So I had to pour ketchup on the burger. The service. Veryyyy slow, impatient and not friendly compared to how he was to the next table that came in. We spent over $30 so we got a free asphalt pie and it was wayyyy big and yummy. So sad that Winger's is getting cheaper and cheaper. We've burn loyal customers for many years. We keep getting disappointed but we keep trying. And they keep letting us down. Smaller wings, fries, fingers, salads. The containers keep getting smaller and smaller. What happened to your fries...again? You tried thin fries years ago and they didn't work. So you're trying them again!? If you need to charge more then do that. But don't try to pass off what you're serving now as what you used to serve. This was a good stop amid point to me to couple of friends for dinner. I got there early and thought I'd have a beer relax after a long day working.. They had a nice bar actually it was a full bar and I only expected a couple of beers. Never been much of a wings person but after trying their Naked Wings.... I'm a believer! Went with the Naked Wings Large 8-pc (10.99) with all the sauces on the side. These wings are unbreaded so the flavor of the wing really stands out. They are juicy, with a crispy skin that is delicious when paired with the Rebel Sauce and Atomic Buffalo sauce (Spiciest sauce btw). This was all washed down with a massive glass of their Peach Limeade. There's just something really satisfying about finishing wing after wing and just dropping the bone in a aluminum bucket.
