This is a great place to get games; unlike some other thrift stores they verify the pieces are there and rubber band the box closed. Having been to their old store which featured mostly furniture and books this newly opened version…read morein a completely new building is quite impressive. Not only do they still feature furniture but now they sell clothing and housewares as well. Please refer to my photos of all the different departments and example of merchandise. The inside is bright and spotless. The isles wide and the departments separated. All the merchandise was organized and displayed very well. The dishes and glassware shined like it had all been freshly washed. I dare you to find a spec of dust in this place. The employees or volunteers that work here take pride in their store and sorting process and it shows. Everything was in remarkable shape and fairly priced. Many items were only .50! Two things that prevented me giving them a 5 star review - the ladies clothing felt matronly and not current, although organized very well and all of decent quality. Some of it was new with tags and had more than one like it was donated by a local retailer or manufacturer. Secondly with Halloween only a few weeks away it was surprising (especially given their abundance of Christmas decor items) that there were no Halloween displays or merchandise other than a small selection of costumes (literally less than a round rack worth). I don't know if it's a religious thing since this is a Christian based organization but do feel like they should have offered more. Wish they were closer but it looks like I'll have to make trips to Ephrata more often.

Maybe I was too preoccupied with the big box thrifts in the area; Community Aid, Salvation Army, and Goodwill to go out and explore those less known. Do yourself a favor - don't make my mistake! This little thrift store is full of treasures waiting to be discovered and supports a number of ministry projects. Easy to find off Route 72 and open till 8 pm most days this location in a residential neighborhood has its own lot. Inside you'll find displays that will rival any retail store window. The organization is thoughtfully arranged by color/size/garment and it's easy to find exactly what you're looking for. If you're a brand whore you won't be disappointed. I saw many Chico, Dress Barn, and even Michael Koors pieces, all in top notch condition. Several items still had tags attached. While their inventory isn't as plentiful as the big box thrift, it's ample. Quality and current trends were on point. Just like their Palmyra sister store the jewelry display is artfully arranged. Prices were fair. On average shirts ran from $3.99-$5.99, jeans and pants a bit higher. I scored a great pair of like new shoes for $3, Halloween items were just .25 cents apiece - regardless if it was a pair of funky glasses or a full blown costume. While there were only a few, it's worth checking out. Aside from ladies clothing which dominates the store you'll find a men's section, children's clothing, toys, housewares, a very small furniture dept. (with signs saying that area will be transformed into a Christmas area in the next few weeks), housewares, wicker, bric brack, books, + a small card & craft section. While I browsed soft music played overhead and the cashier was very eager to assist in any way she could to enhance your shopping experience. The two dressing rooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of hooks. A 50% off coupon can be found in some of the weekly rural newspaper editions and they also offer different specials/sales events from time to time. They even accept returns on clothing only up to 14 days. Electronics are checked but you're encouraged to plug in and verify for yourself since they can't be returned. Donations are easy to unload at the dock and I overheard they welcome your donation of unwanted boxes and plastic bags. Now that I know they exist I'll be checking them out more often!
