WOW: Lack of Management & Supervision This place is a disgrace to the Wingstop brand name. My family wanted wings tonight for dinner, so I decided to drive to this location around 6:50 PM on Wednesday night. Upon arrival, the entrance door was propped open due to what I assume the A/C was not working based on how hot it was in the lobby. I asked to place an order at the counter and the female employee stated, "We are only taking online order". Ok, no problem. I go outside, sit in the car to order online and I am still not able to order online. So, I went back inside and told the same employee that I cannot order online either. The system is not taking any orders. I quote word for word from the female employee "We turned online ordering OFF because we are very busy right now. You can try and place your order later". REALLY. You just told me less than 5 minutes ago, I had to order online. I saw four employees, two sitting in chairs in the kitchen area, one employee walking around, and one employee filling up the ice machine. No wings cooking because I could clearly see all the cooking fryers with empty baskets. Also, there was not one customer in the lobby. NOT taking phone orders, NOT taking counter orders, and NOT taking online orders. So, they were busy doing what, I have No idea. I also witnessed several other customers who were turned away from ordering also. I asked for all my food well done and extra seasoning on my fries and none of that was done. The fries came medium temperature with little to no seasoning even less than what they normally put same with the wings and the first thing I saw when I pulled my fries out the bag (which was sealed by the way) from the store was a long curly gray or blonde hair. I called the store manager because I couldn't figure out how to get a refund on the app and she rudely made it seem like it wasn't her fucking problem and that nobody there had gray or blonde hair. If the food was sealed up from the store and then transported to my house, there's no way for anybody else's hair to get into my food instead of taking responsibility. She told me she could request a refund, but it would take 7 to 10 days and that was it not even that I could bring the food back and they could remake it. I order food after I've been standing on my feet working all day around 10:30pm, arrived to pick it up at about 11pm.. I stay right behind the building. I go to pick up my food, get home, and find that the fries had NO seasoning, they were cold to touch, and there was no ranch in the bag, AND THE WINGS WERE UNDER COOKED! I go back to the building around 11:50pm and I tell the manager, CHOLE, what was going on with my order, instead of MANAGING she has complete disregard of her mistakes and offers a refund that would take 3-5 business days to arrive. Disclaimer this location just opened. I called to place an order and I was put on hold for 5 minutes. That should have been my first red flag. I hung up and placed the orders on line. After placing the order it told me 43-48 minutes. I drove there with about 5 min to spare. This location is in a strip mall. It looks like your other Wing stops. I do like that they have the glass that you can see in the kitchen. The place was packed so you hear me. Not everyone had a mask. This was before the GOV mandate too. The phones were ringing off the hook and they kept taking more phone orders. (I didn't understand why) I went to the sign that say pick and a young lady asked my name and order I gave it to her and paid. The order was not ready. One lady said she had been waiting there 1.5 hours for Ana order she placed on line. The manager was helping in the kitchen. I assume he was the manager because they called him to refund an order. Ppl were asking about orders and this guy was looking for them on the stand and they were not there. It was chaos..... I think they need a little bit more training. Like when you are that behind, don't take any more phone orders. Also there were 2 ppl at the counter. The guy wasn't doing much of anything to be honest. He could have washed his hands and helped push ordered out. He could have bagged if he hasn't been trained to cook. The young lady started sorting receipts. While I get that is important she too could have helped push orders out. Good thing is my wings were fresh and hot. I personally waited about 10 min max. Like every other review to this place , I WISH I could leave zero stars. Eat anywhere BUT HERE. I even contemplated canceling my order and just going to Burger King next door. From the moment we walked in the female in the front barely greeted us. Spoke so quietly and slow I should've rechecked my order before paying. Prior to her taking the order she literally just walked away from the computer for 10-15 mins.. no "one second please" or "I will be right back" just looked and turned around to do other stuff. Been to this location twice now! Both times with just terrible attitudes, even with the manager today, and extremely long wait times. I can deal with the wait, but the attitude and lack of any kind of customer service is just unacceptable. Oh, and on top of that, make sure to check your orders before leaving, because neither one of ours were correct. Sure, we could go back and ask for the items that we didn't get, but that will definitely come with a side of attitude and another hour wait. One word, Ratchet. I was so unimpressed by this location. I've always enjoyed the Baton Rouge locations and expect a lot more. They haven't been open that long so I can only assume there is a lot of hiring and training opportunities. The cashier didn't know what she was doing, the floors were greasy which made our chairs keep sliding (my son fell out of his chair, it was hard to keep the chair from moving around.) The grease trap needs to be changed, the fries were horrible. I asked for a new batch bc they were over cooked and she said "no they just came out" and I said "well they're over cooked can I please have some new ones?" She was nice about it and accommodated that for me. I wanted fries for my kids and they wouldn't touch them (ok they probably ate 5 fries but for kids, that's surprising.) They did love the rolls. My family pack came with wings, fries and veggies. The veggies had 6 carrot sticks and maybe 7 or 8 celery. I thought that was very small for a family pack, but I already complained about the fries I was trying not to be so difficult so I let that go (i love the veggie sticks though.) Also, they were out of corn. I didn't like how the tv was VERY loud, but maybe that's their thing, loud sports and wings. If i was more distracted by how good the food was, I probably wouldn't have cared, but it was underwhelming. I love the drink machine at wingstop, so that's a plus. The wait time wasn't so bad. As far as the wings go: They varied in sizes so i had a lot of small overcooked wings and then some larger really nicely cooked ones. Flavors: Korean - really good Cajun- good (I've had before and normally better.) Garlic Parmesan - could barely taste the sauce. I won't rush back here any time soon, but I'll give them another shot. We did delivery to our house in Walker, and the delivery was timed to the T, the delivery driver was wonderful (even offered to help my sister carry it in- we had a 6 person order), the food was still piping hot when it made it to our house, and the tenders, voodoo fries, cheese fries, chicken sandwiches and boneless bites were thoroughly enjoyed by the entire family!
