Wow!So happy to have this fried chicken place here in Denham Springs! I met Jay, one of the owners. Super nice! They are the 2023 National Fried Chicken champions! Everything is seasoned well, from the bone in chicken to the nuggets, as well as the fries, okra and onion rings. Then top it off with one of their dessert rolls. Get here! You will enjoy it!

Smells wonderful like Fresh fried chicken seems like it's probably cooked to order because it took awhile to get my 8 piece chicken nuggets. But it was worth the wait. They were seasoned well not too hard or soft actually just right. There are plenty of seats for dine in. The menu had a variety of sides and chicken choices. You can check yourself out and there's also a register available if you're not computer savvy. I also had the in house made onion rings! They were yummy!

The service was great. There were only 1 or 2 tables occupied when we arrived so ordering the food was easy. We got our drinks and found a table. The one thing I noticed, having worked in a restaurant environment, were the employees were a little lapse in my opinion. While our food was frying, the employees in the back were sitting on the countertops in view of the customers. The food itself was good. Nothing really tasted fresh to me. It tasted frozen to the fryer. It still tasted good, and if I was tired and hungry, I'd definitely stop by again. It was the first time I'd ever had "smoked ketchup", and I really liked it.

This is my favorite way to have wings. They're big, not dainty like other places

A bit expensive, but it's really tasty! Great customer service, very friendly. Quick too. We only got wings, but they're the best in Denham. I'll be back for a family meal. I only gave four stars because their Mac and cheese was NOT good. It tasted like it had freezer burn. It was cold and in a big lump. No one would eat it. I hate throwing away food, but the raccoons loved being abuse they broke into our trash to get it.

2 thighs and red beans and rice.

The chicken thighs I got were humongous. One of them was on the dry, overcooked side. The other one was perfect. How does that happen? The red beans tasted like bell peppers. I don't recommend it. I wanted to try the mashed potatoes and gravy, but they were out. I should've tried the okra like the little girl suggested. The bread that came with it was very good. Wish they would offer honey to go with it. The chicken was well seasoned. I went late in the evening so I will cut them some slack this time. I will try it again though.

Doors were locked at 4pm for the second time. Sign says closed at 9. I wont try again. Poor management apparently.

He only got me on this place about a year ago......and I never looked back. This Philly cheesesteak is what everyone else wishes theirs tasted like. It is the ABSOLUTE BEST! I'm not exaggerating, I have not found anything better! AND THEN, every single thing I've tried on the menu is DIVINE! I ordered the wrong thing last time I went. My husband orders two sandwiches when he goes.....no lie. And I tried to order just one of them one time when he wasn't with me. So I ordered and took a bite and it wasn't the one I thought it was....not their fault, I just ordered the other one my husband usually does. And the thing is, that first bite was so juicy and flavorful, I didn't even mind. You literally cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Close your eyes, point, and spin. Whatever menu item you land on, and order will be PHENOMENAL trust me. I think I got my dad hooked, now on to the rest of the family!!! We love this place and it's just as good as the BR location and the workers and Parker's here are SOOOOOOOOOO incredibly sweet. This is our happy place.

A friend suggested that I go to Firehouse as the Grinder was a copy cat of their sandwich. Lucky for me, there was one near by. I went on. Friday afternoon and they were rocking and rolling. There was a line of 5 ppl before me and all the tables were pretty much filled. The lady at the register was so inviting. She never made anyone feel rushed even the lady that shared it was her first time there. Little did she know it was mine too but I had did a lil research before I went. I ordered the Hero sub with extra Mayo and I made it a meal by adding a cookie and a drink. When I got home and hit into that sandwich I was like wow. Mind you before this SM trend I was NOT a sandwich person at all. But FH subs has changed my mind. To add a lil cherry on top the confetti cookie was soooooi good. Per the lady at the counter they bake the cookies fresh daily. I went back on Sunday and got the same mea. They are a little pricy for the medium sandwich with cookie and a drink and an extra cookie it was $14.12 but it was worth it

We arrived at 8:00 AM on Thursday and was surprised to find this restaurant was nearly empty with only a few locals having coffee and engaged in a conversation at the bar. The friendly staff greeted us and we seated ourselves at a high-top near the front windows, we both ordered their freshly brewed iced tea while browsing the menu. We wanted to eat and run so we both ordered pancakes and I got a side of bacon - the pancakes were just okay and the bacon unfortunately was cold like it could of been sitting for awhile but it is what it is and we were in and out quickly and our server Whitney brought us each a iced tea to go which was very nice. Nothing bad here but also nothing memorable except how empty the place was at breakfast time in an area that was busy. The restaurant is located on the end of a strip mall a little off the beaten path so that may explain it, we probably wouldn't return just based on the food quality...

Today, my wife and I opted to give this location a try. We arrived around 7:00 PM and decided to dine in. The dining room was very clean, and there were several other customers waiting on their orders. After placing our order at the counter, we grabbed a seat and waited about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. We each ordered the shrimp burger, which is a 1/2 lb. burger with shrimp, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, ketchup, onions, pepper jack cheese, and served with fries or onion rings and a drink for $13.99 each with .75 up charge for the onion rings. I really wish there were a la carte pricing where I could just order a burger rather than being forced to purchase a combo meal. The burger was average, nothing to write home about and it did not taste like the burger I used to get from Roul's back in the days. The burger bun was soft and fresh, but very greasy. The burger patty did not taste fresh, it was dry, over cooked, and lacked flavor. There were only three or four shrimps on the burger, and the burger was topped with very little lettuce and other fresh condiments. I couldn't even taste the onions, tomatoes, and pickles. I personally like a lot of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on my burger to enhance the overall burger taste and experience. Both the fries and onion rings were plentiful, hot and golden brown, but like the burger they lacked seasoning and flavor. Also, the onion rings were cooked from frozen and made fresh. I remember Roul's having the best seasoned fries and seasoned burger patties and that's what drove me to enjoy dining at Roul's Deli, but not today. There's room for improvement.
