This place is a monthly treat for us. You cannot beat the customer service of every employee and great tasting wings/fries combos. There are many locations in LA County, but this spot despite being on a military base, continues to knock it out of the park with quality in every department. The teamwork amongst the staff/employees is a well oiled machine which reflects an outstanding training program. I came in around 3pm today and no one was there. One female employee was working in the kitchen. I was very hungry as I had to skip breakfast and lunch, and felt like I was going to pass out. I went in and waited for a bit so the person whom I could hear working in the kitchen would have a chance to notice. The phone rang, and the employee proceeded to have a 5-minute phone conversation where she seemed to be listening to someone and talking very little. No "hold on I have a customer", just standing there listening. She even looked at me. I felt as if she was waiting for me to leave. Not even an "I'll be right with you." So I left. It's a shame because there are very few choices of places to eat on this base and I think it brings down the value of wanting to work here. So I was flipping a coin between 2 and 3 stars. I ordered and waited 20 minutes. People who were in line after me got their orders and many were waiting. So I asked and was told they are bagging it now. I waited 10 more minutes and the same response. 10 more minutes and finally my order. Sat down and the wings were cold and fries soggy. So I went back and she said they'd re busy. I was like wth. So I just said whatever. In addition, their menu is hidden. When you are in like you can't see anything until you get to the cash register. So then you see people look, ask questions, and it takes forever. Why hide the menu? So I only gave 3 stars because they had a lot of workers working their butts off. I love the fact that Edwards AFB May be the only base in the world with a Wing Stop. The crew currently posted here is doing a fair job at keeping up with the massive batch orders for individuals ordering for their offices. That being said, I ordered a simple 7 piece boneless wings today as a walk in, and I felt forgotten. I stood around for half an hour waiting for my small order. While the customer levels were not like opening day there was still constant customer levels to keep them busy. I am giving them a pass due to this review being made during their opening week. Mistakes can be made, and they are only human, but I hope they dial in a system to handle the large orders and also the small orders. The lemon pepper crispy boneless wings are quite excellent. I have had them quite often before in and around Anaheim, where the customers can make or break you. I have also had this type of wing up here in the Antelope Valley where the wings have enough room for improvement to say the least. So far, and I will be keeping track, the quality of the chicken, the consistency of frying, and flavor of the wings all deserve five out of five. If they never lose the quality levels they have set for themselves, Wing Stop will have a long tenure at Edwards AFB. I had to deduct a star simply due to the incredibly high prices, and the lack of larger signage to help people identify which line is which. Overhead signs above their respective register will help. Just my two cents. To conclude, I am highly recommending everyone utilize the online ordering. I have used this method, and used the traditional walk-in. Waiting half an hour for 7 boneless wings is no way to treat a customer. I know they are busting their butts in the kitchen, but maybe they need to separate large and small orders better. Online ordering will give you a specific time slot, and you can pay immediately so you never have to take up space in the line. I happened to glance at a few receipts today, and the ready times for online orders are within a minute or two. Overall, they are a welcome sight to our base, and I hope they keep the great food flowin 12-26-2019: Ordered 20 boneless wings, got 20 bone in. Drove all the way home to find out order was incorrect. Side note, the lemon pepper boneless wings are a bit salty compared to the boneless. 12-27-2019: Order was corrected and they were really nice to make the order of crispy fries free too. The boneless wings were super delicious. Only one piece of chicken was a bit chewier than the rest. Lemon pepper flavor was spot on. read more

Overall I am SO grateful that there is another option on base to eat. When you live/ work/ go to school on base for as long as I have over the years, Subway, Arby's, Taco Bell, Charleys, and Dominos gets reallllllly old. So it's awesome that we have a wing specialty place. The employees are really friendly and efficient, the area has always been clean when I have gotten orders to go, even during a busy time. I think the drink machine would be more convenient in another location since the line gets crowded for pick up orders while people are filling their cups, but if it has to go there it has to go there. Maybe the line will be reworked and make for smoother ordering. My biggest complaint, and it's honestly just a wing stop thing in general, is the amount of oil left in the bottom of the to go containers. It's so gross, the styrofoam containers aren't sealed great and if it's not kept perfectly upright in the bag, you have oil all over your car seat. Idk why they don't strain it better before boxing it up, but it's consistently a Wing Stop thing so maybe they are told to do it that way? But why? It washes away a lot of the seasoning of the dry rubs. It just makes you feel like you are definitely eating something bad for you. read more

I have visited this place a few times and i have never had an issue my order was always made correct and the food is always hot and delicious. The hype on this place heavily outdoes the food. Not to mention the sky-high prices, which leads one to believe that the food will be worth the price. Alas, the cold wings (which were over-seasoned/over-sauced where one lacked the ability to taste the chicken wing meat) and soggy fries were a disappointment altogether. The lunch line is a trap to both the people that use their app and the people that placed their order inside. So, I decided to go back at 3, and the only line was for the people waiting to have their named called to pick-up their food. I ordered 8-wings, 4 with hickory smoked BBQ and 4 with garlic parmesan, fries and a soda. Even though there were only 4 other people waiting, my order was not called until 20-25 minutes later. Lesson learned. Many restaurants last for a short time here because they provide very little for high prices. Perhaps the owner of the franchise feels that since we're near L.A., we must me wealthy and have nothing more to do than to give our money away...which is far from the truth.
