I ordered via phone and the owner was very friendly. He included lemon pepper okra as a sample in my order. They were delicious. I tried 20 wings, 4 wings in every flavor of sauce. I appreciated that the wings were the same number of drumettes and flats with each flavor! Oftentimes it'll be all drumettes when the flats are the best. The wings were delicious. Chili cheese fries - generous portion and delicious. Not too saucy so still has some crisp to the fries. Lobster jalapeño Mac - not as gooey as I would have liked but still really good. I ordered the potato salad and hot sauce on the side but those were missing from my order. Tried calling about the error but it's Friday night and probably really busy. Those missing items didn't take away from enjoying the meal. I don't normally write reviews, but hope this review helps this place stick around as a neighborhood staple! This restaurant is part of a ghost kitchen. Easy parking. Clean. I was looking for some good wings in my area that are not an arm and a leg. I found doc's on yelp and decided to give them a try and I have already had them 3 times. They are reasonably priced. I typically get the 10 wings with fries which I love because you can pick 3-4 flavors. And I have tried all the flavors. One recommendation is order on postmates or Uber eats then pick because they do take some time to cook. But the food is delicious. Only downside. No ranch. Yes, I love ranch with wings. Doc's wings hits different from the dozens of boring old chicken wing joints on the apps. Not going to lie, I thought the place was kind of sus, but after my fourth time ordering from this place in the last month, I have to give it to them. Something about their wings hit a little different. The wing sizes are bigger than those of Wingstop or traditional wing shops. The sauces are unique -- their Hot sauce isn't the same old buffalo hot sauce, it's actually more of a hot barbecue sauce, but it's very good. The fries are mid, but who cares. Absolutely a 5 STAR BUSINESS I was skeptical because all of the reviews spoke so highly. When I tell you after my first bite, I KNEW I would be leaving a 5 star review. The wings are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! The flavor is phenomenal and not salty or overbearing. This is probably best for delivery service as opposed to showing at his kitchen. Doc was very helpful in getting my order and offered a free sample of a flavor I didn't order. That was the honey mustard and it was really good. All of the wings were a nice size with plenty of meat. I tried his orange citrus and the garlic lemon flavors. So a couple of weeks ago I ordered from DoorDash from Docs and the driver told my the order was picked up already. I got a hold of DoorDash for a refund. The second time I ordered again on DoorDash and I called the driver to make sure the order would not be stolen. This time Damon one of the managers there texted me to say more order was gone again. I called DoorDash and told them this was the second time. The driver told me he was waiting in his car and lied about how many people were in this tiny food place. I was so mad that I drove to Docs to see what was going on. So basically the drivers are only able to get the delivery by showing on a screen to open a locker to get the food for the customer They found the video of my driver grabbing the bag, walking out and then canceled it. So for future drivers. You are not entitled to steal other people who work hard for their money to buy food. You are being video tapped and will be taken to full extent to lose your job.
