Hello, First off, I have to say that we absolutely love your place! We have been customers for several years. I feel like we need to bring this to your attention. Me and my husband, along with the a group of friends were in your place of business last Saturday night to watch Red Rabbit, who we love and follow. Around 12 or 1230 we noticed some commotion at the bar. Much to our surprise, your "new manager" was causing quite the issue with his boyfriend. Earlier in the night, he seemed to be actually managing the bar, however, at this time he was what seemed to be belligerent drunk. This went on for some time, even continuing out to the patio with customers trying to end the chaos. He was cussing, yelling at his boyfriend and demanding the Bartender serve him another drink. Once his boyfriend, was able to get him to leave, we even witnessed him punching a chair on his way out of the bar! I don't know the owners of this bar. I think they would like to know what happens when they are not there. This place used to be a great place to hang out with family and friends. This is not the first time we've witnessed drunk behavior from this manager. I have to say,, your Bar has a couple really good bartenders. And that is a reason we continue to come back. If this is the way the new vibe is in this bar, we will find another place to hang out. I truly hope that it gets handled. It is not fair to the customers, nor the rest of your staff. read more

HIDDEN GEM! Casual vibes,friendly staff, and really good food. Little bit of everything on the menu to pick from from burgers, sandwiches, and wings. We chatted with our waitress about the upcoming events being hosted such as country night, karaoke night etc. Sounds like a lot of fun. The high desert needs places like this available to hang out in rather than having to travel up and down the hill just to get out for the night. (4.25 STARS) Memorial Day road trips always seem to create the best random discoveries, and Pit Stop Bar & Grill absolutely delivered. Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. Be aware...at night? The dark neighborhood driving in seemed scary as hell. In the middle of nowhere with houses across the paking lot with barking dogs and chain link fences....I almost didn't get out of my car!! BUT as soon as I walked in I could tell it was nice.. Cool little stop off in Barstow on way home from Las Vegas. It was Sunday and the whole city is shut down it seems. This place was open and was a decent little Stop off. Seemed like just one lady was working so it was slow service but I think that's the pace of this place, you stop off to watch a game not in a rush. We were in a bit more rush so a little slow but not crazy. Food was pretty good with basic bar choices. We got a burger, couple sandwiches, and some different sides that everybody seemed to be good with. If passing through, we might grab a bite again. Decent stop. read more

We stopped here for a late lunch with our golden retriever. It's tucked off a main street behind the Walmart. We were greeted quickly by the friendly staff. The food selection was good and the food was quick to the table with great quality. The place was clean and the bathrooms were too. The clientele was a mix of locals and other travelers. We rolled into town on a dark Saturday night. Our hotel was another 130 miles across the Mojave Desert with few eateries beyond Barstow. Where do we eat? Pit Stop. We scanned our choices in town. Saw two we ate in before. Bar B Que spoke to our cravings. Pit Stop had good reviews. We found it. A true community center. Dart game teams and schedules, ditto for pool. Other notices on the hallway board too. The Bar is a neighborhood center too. Cool touches, regulars. All quiet and nice. Clean restrooms. At least the men's. If the men's is clean I'm sure the women's is fine. Service friendly and good. We split a pulled pork, ate. the mountains of fries, drank our ice tea and water. We hoped to hear the band. You hungry? On the Road between Vegas and Victorville? I'd recommend paying a visit. Their burgers are tasty and mostly as described. Sometimes the spice doesn't quite hit. There are also plenty of drink options to choose from. It's not quite a dive bar, at least before 6pm (haven't been there later than that), but there is a community vibe when you walk in: several tvs featuring sports and law & order, pool tables that are $10/hour, and stocked bar. Usually 1 person, maybe two are working, so if there are more than 12 customers, it can be slow. But servers are friendly and the price is just right. This is the best burger and wings you can get in Barstow and I've had a few. My gripe is the service lacks because they are always low on staff and the chile isn't really spicy as advertised... but hey maybe others feel differently... it's a fun vibe, but the service could use a lift and this place would be much more closer to epic. Just off Highway 40 , Highway 58, and Interstate 15, this place is tucked behind Walmart. Easy to find. Small-town vibe with unique rustic decor and a touch of cool craftsmanship. Once you walk in you'll see a sign to seat yourself. Server came within minutes and was pleasant. Had the green chili burger and cowboy burger- highly recommend both. Nice little dive bar. Bartender was super nice, and was able to make our drinks no problem. Food was ok, I didn't car to much for my sandwich but my fiances BLT was pretty good. We had dinner here after driving in from Flagstaff. My Louisiana hot chicken sandwich was delicious and the house coleslaw was fresh and crunchy. Our onion rings appetizer was perfect. My son inhaled the green chili burger and fries. Our server and bartender were outstanding. This is a great family place just outside of the main part of Barstow. I absolutely recommend it...but I have one minor suggestion. We almost drove away because when you park it looks like a dark and cozy neighborhood bar and my son is 18. We thought for sure it was 21 and over and I said, "Don't leave yet. Let me check." I walk in and there's almost more kids than adults. We almost missed a delicious meal. Stopped in yesterday while staying at the RV park at the USMC barstool logistics based on recommendation from Yelp. We are pretty surprised when we pulled in at 1400 that parking lot was fairly full, and walking in most tables were taken. Tiffany, the bartender was not only taking care of the bar but all of the tables as well. I must say she did a terrific job, balancing it all. After the menu, we decided on a cold and frosty beer, due to the temperature, and our meals. My wife went with their grilled cheese and loaded tots while I decided on their green chili burger with a side of loaded tots and slaw. It took a little bit for our meals to come out, probably because of how busy they were. It turned out that three of the big tables seem to be all together as one. When they left, it emptied out fairly quickly. Our meals were delicious. The loaded tots were spectacular! If you only have time to visit one place in Barstow, I would recommend this Pit Stop Bar and Grill! read more

We are SO GLAD we found this place! The service was beyond expectations and the food was 100 out of 10! Yes 100!!! The ambience was way better than expected! We were on a 10 hour drive home and we were craving a burger but not fast food! I wish we lived closer my wings were cooked exactly how I liked them. And we didn't ask for any special request! What can i say except food is great good beer and alot of really nice people. I'm from Washington state and found them when Rob from Barstow brewery was telling me all the places that sold his beer. Stopped by and had some excellent food and Barstow brewery beer which is also excellent. Nothing better than a good sports bar and have been there many times while I've been stuck here in Barstow waiting for an RV repair. Ambiance, it's a sports bar, with good service to go with great food and all the great people I've met here. This place will be a regular stop now as I pass by heading to Arizona and back. One more thing, the BBQ pulled pork sandwich is killer. read more
