I'm a big fan of NY Chicken & Gyro down in the valley but didn't want to make the drive so I stopped in for the first time to give this spot a try. Got the mixed platter with extra sauce and a Smash Burger with potato wedges. The mix platter was pretty good, yellow rice, flavorful chicken and some lamb. The hot sauce has like a Smokey flavor or something, I'll probably ask for it on the side next time but overall it was good. The burger was bomb, the meat had a bit of crisp on it, and the flavors were perfect. Also got the Superman and it was sweet af, I couldn't do it lol but I can see why people like the fruit punch/lemonade mix. Service was outstanding, everyone was nice and attentive. Chicken+Gyro combo plate was really good. My son got the Brooklyn wings but unfortunately they were REALLY spicy (even too much for me!). The other issue is it being a take away place the sauce kind of made the wings "soggy" by the time I got back to the soccer field. Fries were really awesome, super crispy and I liked the seasoning. Server was super friendly, lol he warned me about the sauce being spicy on the combo plate (so I got it on the side) but not about the wings :( The wait wasn't too long for my food (12 min), but it sounded like other people had 30+ minute waits. I'd go back, but just get combo plate, or maybe try a cheesesteak. read more

Rolled up and ordered the 3 piece and fries. Had to wait a couple minutes but they made it for me fresh to order. The stuff was helpful and polite. Yummy!!! I must say I am very impressed on how good and delicious this place was. I haven't had a Chicken Gyro plate since I moved away from the SFV and let me tell you this hit the spot. I got the chicken and rice plate and ordered a 2 pc combo with Mac and cheese. The fried chicken is so juicy so flavorful and so fresh. The crisp on this was spot on and all the spices and seasonings on this chicken were spot on. The chicken and rice plate with the sauces on the side was so spot on. Super flavorful packed with flavor and super filling. The Mac and cheese it was so delicious. I would had preferred a bit more cheese but the taste was there. customer service is top notch here always with a smile and felt welcomed. If there's one thing you have to try here, it's the NYC halal platters!! I got the chicken and gyro mix platter with mild sauce. It was a good portion of food. Very aesthetic platter and an explosion of flavors. The mild sauce on top gave it a nice kick. I would definitely come back for this. The double smash burger and Philly cheesesteak were also very delicious and meaty. I paired them with the potato wedges and it really hit the spot. Ugh, I die for those potato wedges and the sauce! There are plenty of dessert options to choose from. I saw they had carrot cake slices and Oreo cheesecake which were tempting but I went with the classic banana pudding and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were on the sweeter side so I watered mine down to make double the drink. Overall, really enjoyed the food here. I will be back for sure. Only downside is that there is no indoor seating. While in Lancaster I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Something different than what I wouldn't really find in Fresno since I'm always eating the same shit there. I seen on Yelp they had Jamaican Pattie's so that's what led us here. I didn't know it was an order and go place. I thought there was tables and chairs but no, just order and go. Fine with me cus we didn't plan to eat there anyway. Dude that helped me told me they didn't carry the Pattie's anymore but lucky for a us, a nice lady customer told us about a Jamaican place right down the st. So we was gon visit that after. While we was here, I was excited to see they have gyro plates! Reminded me of halal bros cus they have a white sauce and house made red sauce! I ended up getting that with gyro and chicken meat. It came with the rice and the salad on the side to which I'll mix in with the rice. My bf ended up getting the fried fish gyro and it came with fries. While waiting he saw everyone getting this drink and we found out it's called the Superman drink which is fruit punch & lemonade! I think it's kool aid fruit punch. It was bomb! Just the right amount of sweet and sour.. so refreshing! We did have to wait a while for the food but that's how you kno it was fresh. My bf really liked the fried fish gyro. It was a little messy but that's cus the white and red sauce was just spilling out. I took a bite and it was pretty good. My plate was BETTER! the yellow rice was nice and fluffy and had a good flavor to it. The chicken and gyro meats was delicious! No complaints there! Everything incorporated together like the veggies and the sauce with the rice and meat was fantastic!! It only came with white but I made sure to ask him for red as well. What a disappointment! I'm new to the area and saw the reviews. I just knew this had to be great chicken. I ordered some hot wings and Unfortunately, it was not to my liking. The breading was too salty, and the wings were small and very little meat. The wings had no spice to them, so I'm not sure what they meant by Hot Wings. The service was good, and very polite. The place itself was small with no seating area. I definitely won't be back. I'm on the hunt for great wings in the AV! read more

The food here is so delicious! We got there about 10:30 in the morning and it was about a 30 minute wait for our food since they make everything fresh, but we just ran to shop in the store nearby to kill time. It was worth the wait, just be prepared. The staff who helped us was so friendly and helpful. We live clear on the other side of town, but we'll make it a point to come back. read more

So... although their chicken is overpriced, it's usually really good. I received chicken wings that were so small my 5 year old grandson didn't get full off of them. I called to express my concern and was told "that's the size we received unfortunately ". I paid $29 for a 5 piece and fries only. No breast was given in my order... only tiny pieces of chicken. The chicken rice plate is soooooo good the white sauce is a must and the spicy sauce is very spicy but has a burst of flavors so u cant not use it. So I was looking forward to eating this joint, but I was very disappointed. The best part of the meal was only the fruit punch/ lemonade beverage and the wedges were good. I went there for the chicken mainly and wasn't impressed at all. I really wish I could be saying different but it honestly was not good. Overhyped and underwhelming. I don't know if I got a bad batch or the chicken/fried food was the last day before they replaced the oil, but this chicken tasted horrible for a place that is considered the "best fried chicken in the AV area." If it is... god bless. To start, there's no seating -- which is fine, incredibly inconvenient, but acceptable... if it didn't take an hour to get our food. Yup. An hour. We were told food would be done in 30 minutes, so we went around the area, chilled in the car, and what'd you know it, 30 minutes passed, the person said to wait another "12 minutes." ... yup. You guessed it. 12 minutes passed, and another 5 minutes were told. So we waited. And after 10 minutes, the food was finally done. It's one thing to say there's a wait for the food, but to continually undercut the estimated time is absurd. With that, the chicken is advertised to be "freshly fried," which it is, but I think that's an excuse or coverup to the amount of delays and time it takes to cook it. It's not like this place is dead, there were at least 5 people waiting inside or in their cars, so it doesn't make sense to just load up and keep some warm. This, again, would be SLIGHTLY tolerable if there was seating, but nope. Just chilling in the car. As for the fried chicken itself... I seriously hope I got a bad batch because of how big of a disappointment it was. It was crispy and juicy yes, but the flavor was ... off. Tasted like some very bad oil, and it was incredibly salty. Like saltier than KFC salty. If I were to compare this to fried chicken joints Jollibee's/Popeyes = 5/5 KFC/Church's = 4/5 Supermarket fried chicken = 3/5 This place is a 2.5/5. I wouldn't come again, but if I were, it seems I'll need to call an hour ahead of time. Which is unfortunate, because the server/cashier was incredibly nice as well, even gave a tip, so I wanted it to be good. read more

I stumbled across this place while searching for restaurants in the AV. Decided to give it a shot due to the high ratings and honestly, they are well deserved! The chicken over rice plate was sooo good! Reminded me a lot of the Halal Carts in NYC. Definitely got my fix! While that was the reason why I went, their fried chicken and potato wedges are some of the best I've ever had! Like no joke, don't sleep on them. I ended up ordering their wing combo and upgraded to potato wedges. Also, they have several drinks to choose from. They have a half lemonade half tea that's sooo good! They also have one with lemonade and orange soda, and a lemonade and fruit punch. I will definitely be using them for our corporate luncheons and personal events. I went with the 2 piece dark meat and his recommendation For the drink was called a Superman. OMG the best decision he made! lol My son got the shrimp basket and the Superman drink.
