This Wingstop location is a disaster. Filthy doesn't even begin to cover it. Upon walking in, we were immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of freshly smoked marijuana. The floor was so sticky that my shoe actually stuck to the rug by the drink machine, and there were straw wrappers scattered everywhere. Many of the drink options were unavailable, and there was no cashier on hand to take orders. Instead, we were instructed to order online, as no one was staffing the registers. Thankfully, one employee was helpful and assisted us in getting the app to work, but that didn't make up for the overall mess. The entire place felt dirty and poorly maintained. I'm sure most of their business is from delivery services like DoorDash, but that doesn't excuse the condition of the restaurant for those of us who choose to dine in. Had it not been so late and most other places closed, we would have left and gone somewhere else. We were just passing through on a road trip and will never return, whether for dine-in or takeout. I have been a Wingstop customer for years! Probably about 8 years. I love the new bundles that are offered! Today we got the All-in bundle. I ordered to-go so that I could meet my boyfriend at work for lunch. The number thing you cannot do as a Wingstop worker is forget the ranch. NEVER FORGET THE RANCH. I was supposed to get 3 ranch containers with my meal and got none. I am pretty upset about that. 16 wings, 6 tenders, and a large fry with NO RANCH. Give them a shot, but if you are doing to-go do not be like me and not check the bag. I normally always check the bag. The one time I trust the place they have no ranch. I have loved wingstop for many years. I am over the moon that there's one so close to me now. Their ranch is homemade and delectable. I could drink it with a straw. You can also get honey mustard or cheese dip with your meal if you don't like ranch. My favorite wing flavor is the Korean q. Louisiana rub being a close second. The fries have a great seasoning on them with sugar and salt. They have online ordering also which helps with the long wait times. The new best wings in town! This one has a larger dining room than the wingstops I've been to in the past. Give it a try! read more

We know this location just opened, so we didn't have high expectations for service or quality just yet. But the young lady taking our order was very personable and a delight to speak to. (Often not the case with walk-up order then dine-in restaurants.) We ordered two 8 piece combos, one with fries and one with veggie sticks. Our sauces were (from hottest to mildest): atomic, mango habanero, Korean Q, and garlic parmesan. We really liked the first three. The atomic and the mango habanero actually have heat. The garlic parmesan had zero garlic flavor and was disappointing. The wings were big and perfectly cooked. The carrot and celery sticks were fresh and clean and the blue cheese dressing was very good. The fries were terrible. They were tough and chewy, not hot and crispy. They tasted old. Hopefully the fries improve. We will try them again once they have a little more experience. read more

So today (4/17/2024) at 9:50pm I ordered a chicken sandwich combo and a 10 piece wing. My fries were cold and tasted as if they'd been siting out. Now for my sandwich I paid $8.59 and the sandwich wasn't even in the bag of my order. For my 10 piece wings I had ordered Cajun and hot honey rub and only got hot honey rub. So I went over to the store to figure out why I'm missing items from my order that I paid for. Well what I thought was going to be an easy fix turned out to be a 30-35 minute wait time for a Sandwich combo and wings that although I ordered specific flavors I only got hot honey rub. Then to add salt to the wound the workers were all joking and laughing in the back while I was waiting for them to fix my order. I already had to get an Uber to get to the store to fix this problem. Well to "compensate" me they gave me an extra sand which and then again the Hot honey wings were only 8 pieces instead of 10 and I paid for a 10. No napkins, only a roll of half used brown towels. Employees literally sitting around chit chatting and acting loud and crazy in the kitchen. We Were Told that it would be about 10 minutes for our order. It was about 45 minutes and the order came out wrong. The fries Were so salty, we took one bite and threw them away. The wings were absolutely awful. The mgr literally sat at a table on her phone while the staff looked absolutely lost. This is by far the worst Wingstop location I've visited in my life. I've been in Hammond all my life and was thrilled to see there was a Wingstop being built! Luckily today, I noticed they were open and placed my first order. Let's just say it will be my first and last time ordering from this location in Hammond, LA. Experience inside: the experience was great and people were friendly, dining area looked nice, etc. Experience after having the food: Keep in mind, I live 5 minutes away from the location. When I placed my order it said it would be 30 mins. I got there in 20 mins just to be a little early. I walked in and my food was ready to go but when I got home and opened it, it was all soggy and cold. The wings weren't crispy AT ALL!! And I order EXTRA WELL DONE. I ordered 8 flats and they gave me 6. The fries were so soggy and cold they couldn't be eaten. The best thing about this meal was my soft drink. Ordered my food online, as usual, and paid via card online ($40.00) Once I arrived at store to retrieve my food, I was directed that I must wear a mask to be served. After I explained my medical condition does not permit me to wear a mask, they said they could not serve me. Although, my food was ready and waiting, they took the 5 minutes to issue me a refund, rather than the 30 seconds to hand me my food. Extremely impolite while I kept my calm, was told THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY COPD THAT I MUST WEAR A MASK OR LEAVE. I even stated I would wait outside and allow them to hand me my meal outside and the young man on duty stated he would not do that. I've ate here in person 6 times since opening without a mask, and have ordered online 5 times. I am a avid customer of wingstop but this will be my last time with Hammond Wingstop.
